Description

  Air duct for water ventilation
The invention relates to an air line for water ventilation, along which there are openings which allow air to pass through in one direction and prevent water from entering in the other direction.

Ventilation is a promising way of regenerating wastewater and water with insufficient oxygen content. For this purpose, a system of air lines is inserted into the water to be treated, which supplies air to the water via nozzles or holes in the pipe wall. The air rises to the surface in the form of bubbles, releasing oxygen into the water. It is known to design the air nozzles in the pipe wall as non-return nozzles so that no water can enter the air lines during an interruption in operation. These check nozzles are expensive. If there are no non-return nozzles, the nozzles, which are kept very narrow due to the small air bubble size, will be clogged by the water passing through after a short time.

The invention characterized in the patent claim eliminates these disadvantages and creates a cheap production of the lines.

The subject matter of the invention is explained below with reference to three exemplary embodiments.

   Show it:
Fig. 1 a membrane designed as a sleeve with tube, in view and cross section,
Fig. 2 a membrane formed as a plaster-like flap with a tube, in view,
Fig. 3 a further membrane designed as a sleeve with tube, in view and cross section.

Fig. 1 shows a sleeve serving as a membrane 2, which encloses a pipe 1 with elastic tension, the center of the sleeve being approximately above the opening 3 located in the pipe wall. At this point of the cuff there is an imperforate zone 4, while outside it there are perforations 5 designed as fine leaks. The latter can be generated, for example, by needle pricks. If the air in the pipe 1 is put under pressure that is higher than the hydrostatic pressure of the surrounding water, the air presses on the membrane 2, expands it outwards, and the air passes through the perforations 5 outwards into the water. The membrane 2 is lifted from the wall of the tube 1 by means of elastic deformation. In case of constipation or

Adhesion of the perforations 5, which can occur after a prolonged interruption in operation, the membrane 2 is elastically deformed when pressure builds up in the pipe 1; by this flexing movement of the membrane 2, the perforations 5 are opened again ge. In order to avoid contamination of the perforations 5 from the air side, it is advisable to filter the air supplied to the tube 1. The ventilation device is shut down by a valve, not shown. The membrane 2 then lies against the wall of the pipe 1 in a sealing manner. The air in the pipe 1 then relaxes down to a pressure which corresponds approximately to the hydrostatic pressure of the surrounding water. Penetration of the water into the pipe 1 is possible even with external overpressure, d. H. greater water pressure than air pressure in pipe 1, not possible.

The imperforate part 4 of the membrane 2 closes the opening 3 in the wall of the pipe 1.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, a plaster-like flap 2a, which only partially surrounds the pipe wall and which serves as a membrane, is attached to the pipe 1 by welding or gluing along its four sides 2b. If the membrane is designed according to FIG. 2, there is the advantage that the membrane size can be selected independently of the diameter of the tube 1. When a plurality of openings 3 are arranged along the pipe 1, a long membrane covering all openings 3 is fastened in a simple manner in the same way as the membrane 2a.

In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, a membrane 2c is present as a strip which is placed around the pipe 1 and fastened in a sealing manner by means of a tensioning band 6. The membrane 2c can be glued to the tensioning band 6 prior to assembly on the pipe 1. The membrane 2c can also have two beads 2d, between which the tensioning band 6 lies and cannot slip along the pipe 1. The tensioning strap 6 has a rectangular cutout 6a through which the perforations 5 of the membrane 2c open outwards. The tension band 6 is provided with a tension screw connection 6b for sealing the membrane 2c against the pipe wall.

Since to enrich the water to be treated with oxygen, the ventilation pipes 1 must be in the water below so that the air in the form of gas bubbles can migrate through the water from bottom to top, it is necessary to fasten the pipes 1 to prevent their buoyancy. At the clamping screw connection 6b in Fig. 3 z. B. fixed to the ground, not shown pipe holding means are attached.

Only pipe sections are shown in Figs. 1-3. A multiplicity of openings 3 and thus a multiplicity of membranes are present along each tube 1.
