Fig. 1 zeigt das Füllventil mit herausgeschraubtem Verschluss.

Safety lock for the refill valve of lighter tanks The present invention relates to a safety lock for the refill valve of lighter tanks.
There are already closure means for preventing unwanted opening or the contamination or clogging of the refill valves known, which z. B. are designed as a threaded plug or provided with a bayonet lock.
The present invention aims to create such a safety lock of a comparatively simple construction, the lock being able to serve at the same time to brace the valve disk. This is achieved according to the invention in that the shaft of the valve disk is provided as a threaded nut for the threaded bolt of the safety cover.
On the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is illustrated in elevation and section.
Fig. 1 shows the filling valve with the cap screwed out.
FIG. 2 shows the object according to FIG. 1 with a screwed-in closure.
The fuel (gas) container is denoted by 1 in the drawing. A pot-like recess 2 for receiving the filling valve carrier 3 is provided on the container bottom. This has bores 4 and 5 which are separated by a collar 6 with a bore 7. A sealing ring 8 is inserted into the bore 5. The filling valve consists of a plate 9 with a spindle 10. The spindle 10 in turn has a longitudinal bore 11 and a transverse bore 12 at its lower end.
The spindle 10 is guided in the bore 7 of the collar 6. In the upper part, the spindle has a nut thread 13. A filling nozzle 14 with a filling funnel 15 is placed on top of the spindle 10 in a press fit. On the bottom 16 of the collar 6 sits a compression spring 17, the upper end of which is supported against the collar 18 of the connecting piece 14. The valve 9 to 15 is assigned a securing-bracing locking bolt 19 which has a grip plate 20 serving as a cover.
The bolt 19 is partially provided with a thread 21, approximately halfway up its length, which comes into engagement with the thread 13. If the securing cover bolt 19 with its thread 21 is inserted into the bore 11 and the thread 21 engages with the thread 13, as can be seen in FIG. 2, the valve disk 9 can be tensioned beyond the action of the spring 17 and against press its seat on the sealing ring 8, which ensures an absolutely secure closure. The lid 20 compares with the bottom of the container 1.
If the lid 20 with its bolts 19, 21 is unscrewed and removed (FIG. 1), the funnel 15 of the filler neck 14 is exposed for the attachment of the filler bottle.
