Description
Palette
Fig. 3 bis 5 schaubql1dliche Ansichten verschiede- ner Schutzmanschetten,
palette
The present invention relates to a pallet which is used for stacking and transporting goods. The previously known pallets consist of a plate on which several feet, for example nine in the case of standard pallets, are arranged.
Originally the plates and the feet were made of wood. In the case of a more recent version, there has been a transition to manufacturing the plates from glass fiber-reinforced cast resin, the feet of the invention being made from one piece and made hollow with the stacking plate. This has the advantage that the unloaded pallets can be stacked in a very space-saving manner, as the hollow feet can be nested.
However, it is very disadvantageous that the goods lying on the pallet can be pressed into these hollow feet. Another disadvantage is that the feet can easily be damaged or broken off when the pallet, which is normally the case, is lifted by a forklift truck, since the fork easily hits the feet when it is pushed under.
In order to avoid these disadvantages, the pallet for stacking and transporting goods according to the invention is characterized in that it consists of two plates provided with a number of hollow feet, which are arranged to one another so that the closed, raised ends of the feet ' to form spacers butt against each other and are connected to one another and that these spacers are surrounded by loose-fitting protective sleeves. These protective sleeves are preferably tubular.
They are preferably made of a flexible or semi-flexible material, for example polyethylene, but can also be made of metal. In order to further increase the elasticity of the protective sleeves, they can consist of a longitudinally slotted tube or they can be provided with a spiral cross-section.
Such protective sleeves can be placed around any spacer, i. H. they do not have to be clipped onto the feet or plates from below. Since the spacers are composed of the hollow feet provided on both plates, the individual hollow feet can turn formed by relatively small bulges in the plates, so that the holes on the top of the pallet are not large and the transported goods are hardly pressed into them .
In addition, by arranging a large number of feet, bending of the pallet can be avoided, which could hardly be avoided with the previously known pallets when lifting. Finally, the feet can be made so small that it is possible to adhere to the prescribed dimensions for the pallets. In order to protect the panels from the parts furthest removed from the feet from being bent or pushed through under load, the entire panels can be provided with a number of reinforcing beads.
These beads can be arranged around the arches in a circle, triangle, rectangular or radial shape. The corrugations can be set against one another in such a way that the panels do not sag either inwards or outwards.
Of course, corresponding reinforcing beads can also be provided on the hollow feet and the protective sleeves.
The protective sleeves can prevent the spacers from being damaged by the fork of a forklift. If this fork hits one of the spacers, it first hits the loosely seated sleeve, which can rotate if it hits from the side and deflects the forces that occur.
However, if the fork hits a cuff centrally, the forces that occur can, for. B. be transferred to the arches via the upper and lower end of the cuff. This means that no gravitational forces at all are exerted on the connection point between the two feet.
So that the hollow feet can absorb relatively large forces, they are expediently formed only very small and with the same wall thickness as the plates. Cuffs that are pushed over by a push can usually return to their original shape by themselves.
Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the accompanying drawings. There are shown: FIG. 1 a perspective view of the pallet without protective sleeves,
2 shows a side view from each of which the arrangement of the protective sleeves on the spacers can be seen,
3 to 5 are diagrammatic views of various protective sleeves,
Fig. 6 to 8 schematically different shapes of the hollow feet and
9 shows a plan view of a plate provided with reinforcing beads.
The pallet 1 consists of two plates 2, which are provided with a number of hollow feet 3 sand. The plates are arranged in relation to one another in such a way that the raised ends of the hollow feet 3 abut one another.
These ends of the hollow feet are connected to one another in any way, for example by means of screw caps and nuts, not shown. The hollow feet 3 thereby form spacers for the plates 2. The hollow feet can be distributed as desired on the plate 2, but a symmetrical distribution is necessary so that the hollow feet Ider! individual plates face each other.
In Fig. 2, the spacers formed by the hollow feet 3 are each surrounded by a protective sleeve 4 which is loosely arranged around the spacer. This protective sleeve is tubular and is placed on lines of the hollow feet 3 against hollow feet before the ends are connected. The protective sleeve 4 is tubular in any case, regardless of whether the plates 2 are provided with pyramidal hollow feet 3a (Fig. 6), conical hollow feet 3b with a rounded end (Fig. 7) or hemispherical hollow feet 3c (Fig. 8).
In order to increase the elasticity of the protective sleeves and to be able to place them around already assembled spacers, either a longitudinally slotted sleeve 4a or a sleeve 4b with a spiral cross-section is used.
The plates 2 are expediently made of plastic, and the hollow feet 3 are formed in one piece with them.
The pallet 1 described above therefore consists of an upper and a lower plate 2 which are connected to one another by means of spacers.
Such a pallet can therefore not be stacked in such a space-saving manner as the previously known pallets with hollow feet. This disadvantage is avoided in that the connection between the arches is made detachable. After releasing the connection, the individual plates 2 can be inelnandersetzen in an extremely space-saving manner.
In order to protect the plates 2 from bending under load at the points that are further away from the hollow feet 3, reinforcement beads 5 are provided on their entire surface, which are arranged to one another so that the plates neither after can be bent noticeably inside or outside. As in the example described, these beads 5 can be arranged in a circle around the hollow feet 3 or radiate out from them. However, any other arrangement of the beads is also possible.
These beads can also be provided on the hollow feet 3 and the protective sleeves 4, 4a, 4b.
The proposed pallet has a long service life, since it hardly needs to be repaired, because the usual damage can only occur to a very small extent.
