Description

Fig. 3 zeigt eine solche Anordnung.

DC machine The present invention relates to a DC machine having main and reversing poles. It is characterized in that self-contained additional stator windings are provided, each of which comprises a main pole as well as the reversing pole following in a preferred direction of rotation.

In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in simplified form.

1 illustrates the basic structure of a machine according to the invention, FIG. 2 serves to explain the mode of operation, and FIG. 3 shows a development of the main and reversing poles schematically.

Fig. 1 shows the most essential parts: a two pole DC motor. Here, N1, S1 denote the north and south main poles, N., S2 denote the north and south turning poles. 1 is the stator yoke, 2 is the armature, the direction of rotation of which is indicated by the arrow n.

A currently in commutation, i. H. The coil short-circuited by brushes (not shown) has the reference number 3. The armature current direction: g is identified by crosses and dots. A cross here means a stream entering the sign plane, a point a stream emerging from it. The turning poles have known u. a. the task of canceling the anchor transverse field A.

Therefore, in the direction of rotation of the motor, a main pole of a given polarity is followed by a reversing pole with the same polarity. The additional stator windings 4, which are short-circuited, each enclose a main pole and: the reversing pole following in the direction of rotation. 4 'are the end connections of the additional windings.

In order to make a clear representation possible, the main pole and reversing pole windings, the collector, etc. are not drawn in FIG. 1.

FIG. 2 serves to explain the mode of operation. Identical parts have the same reference numerals there as in FIG. 1. Elements that are not directly: required for understanding the function. are left out. It is now assumed that the flux 01 of the pole pair NI, S1 suddenly decreases.

Then in the short-circuited additional windings 4 an EMF or a current with the direction shown in the drawing arises, since a short-circuited coil always seeks to keep the magnetic flux linked to it constant. The same also applies to the commutating winding 3, whose transformer emf caused by the change in 01 is denoted by E.1.

The additional turns 4 generate an additional flux OZ in the reversing pole circle N2, S2, which in the coil 3 has an EMF of the rotation. EZ, the ET. is opposite. Similar relationships also apply to a direct current generator or to: a sudden increase in the magnetic flux 01.

The subject matter of the invention enables the commutation to be largely insensitive to switching processes in which the excitation current is switched on or off. This is done, for example, when. Trigger circuit breaker or vehicle pantograph jump off.

Furthermore, the arrangement has also proven itself in the case of periodic changes in flow, such as occur in machines that are fed from an alternating current network via rectifiers.

In the latter case there is a permanent heat development in the Zuastzwindungen 4, which u. U. may be undesirable. It is then advisable to connect at least some of the additional windings in series and to close them via a resistor located outside the machine. Fig. 3 shows such an arrangement. It shows the development of a four-pole machine, the main poles in turn being identified by the index 1 and the reversing poles by the index 2.

The additional turns 4 lying in series, the number of which is equal to the number of poles, close. find out about the resistance 5.

The EMK Ez (Fig. 2) can fully compensate for the EMK Er only at a very specific speed. If the machine runs at an almost constant speed, the additional winding must be dimensioned for this. If, on the other hand, there is a large speed range, the design must be based on an average speed. Preferably, the resistance R_1 of the additional turn 4 should at least approach the relationship R, = 0.8. a2. (1 / 8w). D.

n .10-s (.) are sufficient, where l (cm) is the anchor length, etc. (cm) the reversing air gap, D (cm) the armature diameter and 'n (sec-') the speed. So that this resistance remains the same even with strongly changing temperatures of the additional windings, they can expediently consist of resistance material with a low temperature coefficient.

The additional turns 4 according to FIG. 1 have their beneficial effect only for the direction of rotation indicated there. If the direction of rotation is reversed, the current turning process deteriorates. To avoid this, additional additional windings must be provided, which then comprise the main pole NI and the left-hand adjacent pole, as well as the main pole S, and the pole that follows this in the direction of rotation.

In addition, switches would have to be provided in the additional windings, which would have to be closed or opened depending on the direction of rotation. If the speed in the opposite direction remains relatively low or the switching processes occur predominantly in a certain direction of rotation, the additional windings only need to be provided for this.

Finally, it should be noted that the additional windings work best when not only the rotor but also the magnetic circuit of the stator of the DC machine is at least partially laminated and the additional windings are isolated from the stator iron.
