Description

Pigment material The subject of the present invention is a pigment material according to claim I of the main patent, characterized in that it contains in dispersion a soluble organic dye. The asphaltic or bituminous binder can be combined with naphthenic acid, resin oil or tall oil and similar products or with a mixture of these products. A subject of the present invention is also a process for the manufacture of said pigmentary material.
It is known that one of the most important ingredients used in the manufacture of printing inks is the dye solution intended to reinforce or shade the color of the inks. This solution is used in particular to blue, purplish or brown blacks; it usually consists of a hot solution of a basic dye base in a fatty acid.
The pigmentary material which is the object of the present invention contains a soluble organic dye dispersed in the product of combination of an asphalt or bituminous binder with naphthenic acid, resin oil, tall oil or similar products or even with a mixture of these products.
The manufacturing process consists in kneading at a temperature between 15 and 900 ° C. the mixture formed by the above components. The material according to the invention has the advantage of providing an ink which does not pass through the paper and which dries better than that obtained by dissolving in the heat a basic dye base in a fatty acid.
Soluble organic dyes of various colors: yellow, orange, red, blue, green, purple, brown, black can be used to strengthen or shade inks of the same shade. Example Heat to 801, C and mix for a few 1 "hours the mixture below
