Description
Topfkratzer Die Erfindung betrifft einen aus Fasern, Binde mittel und Si02-Partikeln bestehenden Topfkratzer.
Im allgemeinen bestehen Topfkratzer aus einem zusammengeknäuelten - Metallband. Die schar fen Ecken desselben beschädigen jedoch besonders beim starken Andrücken die Oberflächen des zu reinigenden Gegenstandes sowie die Haut. Ausserdem tritt bei längerem Gebrauch Rostbildung auf.
Diese Nachteile werden durch einen Topfkratzer gemäss der im folgenden beispielsweise beschriebenen Erfindung vermieden.
Anstelle eines Metallbandes werden grobtitrige Fasern, vorzugsweise Kunststoff-Fasern, mit einem flüssigen, noch nicht ausgehärteten Phenol- oder Melamin-Harz, welches verhältnismässig grosse Men gen feingemahlenen Quarzpulvers enthält, gleichmä ssig imprägniert und anschliessend einer Wärmebe handlung unterworfen. Man erhält dabei ein Faser flächengebilde, das trotz guter Scheuerwirkung eine schonende Oberflächenbehandlung sowohl der Haut als auch des zu reinigenden Gegenstandes gewähr- leistet. Ausserdem ist eine Rostbildung unmöglich. Anstelle von Phenol- und Melamin-Harzen können auch sogenannte harte Harze verwendet werden.
Eine Imprägnierung mit dem sonst üblichen Binde- mittel Latex führt zu keinem befriedigenden Pro dukt.
<I>Beispiel</I> Ein Perlon -Faservlies ( Perlon eingetragene Marke) mit einem Gewicht von 100 g/m2 (Faser- länge über 5 mm) wird mit 150 g flüssigem Phenol harz, in welchem 250 g Quarzpulver suspendiert sind, imprägniert. Anschliessend wird bei einer Wärme einwirkung über l00 das Harz auskondensiert. Man erhält dabei ein Produkt mit einem Gewicht von 500 g/m2.

These disadvantages are avoided by a pot scraper according to the invention described below as an example.
Instead of a metal strip, coarse-denominated fibers, preferably plastic fibers, are evenly impregnated with a liquid, not yet hardened phenol or melamine resin, which contains relatively large amounts of finely ground quartz powder, and then subjected to a heat treatment. The result is a sheet-like fiber structure which, in spite of its good abrasive action, ensures gentle surface treatment of both the skin and the object to be cleaned. In addition, rust formation is impossible. Instead of phenolic and melamine resins, so-called hard resins can also be used.
Impregnation with the otherwise common binding agent latex does not lead to a satisfactory product.
<I> Example </I> A Perlon fiber fleece (Perlon registered trademark) with a weight of 100 g / m2 (fiber length over 5 mm) is impregnated with 150 g of liquid phenolic resin in which 250 g of quartz powder are suspended . The resin is then condensed out when the heat is applied to over 100. A product with a weight of 500 g / m2 is obtained.
