Description

B. Fassadenteilen, in Rahmen möglich.

  Je nach dem Gewicht des Flächengebildes muss  mindestens die tragende     Schaumstoffdichtung    aus  zähem Schaum     stoffmaterial    bestehen, so dass der zur  Befestigung des     Flächengebildes    dienende,     in    den       Zellen    herrschende Gasdruck durch die steifen     Zell-          wände        ergänzt    wird;

Flat structure tightly fastened in a frame In civil engineering, water- and dust-tight insertion and: the fastening of surfaces are formed, such as B. prefabricated facade parts, in the intended frame or as a frame, the nende recesses difficult and cumbersome.

The cause of these difficulties lies in a not insignificant part in the large tolerances customary in the construction industry, so that one has to reckon with spaces of 2 to 6 mm between the joint surfaces and the frame.

In the sense of the present description of the invention, the surfaces of the surface structure and the frame that face each other after installation are referred to as abutting surfaces, as shown in FIG. 1 by the surfaces according to No. 11 and 12 illustrate.

If the flat structures are built directly into the frame, the spaces mentioned must be filled with cement mortar, putty or the like and sealed. Fastening and seals made of these materials usually have the disadvantage that they are so badly damaged by drying, rainwater, vibrations or other influences that they have to be repaired or completely renewed after a relatively short time through time-consuming work.

One has therefore gone over to the surface elements by means of intermediate or subframes, whose production, however, costly and their attachment in the building is cumbersome Lich.

The invention relates to a surface structure tightly fastened in a frame by means of a seal made of a plastically deformable and / or elastomeric, essentially closed-cell foam, which is characterized in that the fastening of the surface structure in the frame is effected by the gas pressure of the gas contained in the foam is.

In this simple way, the permanent and tight installation of flat structures such. B. facade parts, possible in frames.

The foam used to form the seal must be essentially closed-cell, i.e. it must not contain any passages or pores through which on the one hand the air contained in the cells can escape and on the other hand water or dust from one side to the other: ge long.

It must be deformable enough to be able to be inserted in its final place and yet have such elasticity that it can cling tightly to the abutment surface directly opposite it. The foam is expediently made of weather-resistant materials, such as natural or artificial plas: tomers or elastomers.

Closed-cell foams made of polyvinyl chloride, such as those commercially available, for example, under the name Airex -oft, have proven to be particularly suitable; In special cases, however, the products known under the name Airex -hart are also suitable. The former differ from the latter in their content of plasticizer, which gives the polyvinyl chloride elastic properties that are rubber-like.

The foam is cut into strips, which profiles aufwei sen that correspond to the respective conditions; for example, they can be rectangular, parallelogram or segment.

The seal can be implemented in various ways. Thus, the foam seal can either be attached to the abutting surfaces of the frame or preferably those of the sheet-like structure. It is essential that the air contained in the foam is under pressure after installation of the sheet, so that the sheet sits firmly in the frame and the surface of the foam comes to lie directly on the opposite abutment and adapts to all unevenness of the latter, forming a good seal .

This is achieved because the circumference of the surface structure including the seal is chosen to be greater than the scope along the abutment surface of the frame and then the surface structure is pushed into its final place in the frame. When dimensioning the dimensions of flat structures without a seal and frame, account must be taken of the fact that the flat structure must be so much smaller than the frame that the compression of the seal to be installed provides sufficient support for the flat structure in the frame and that Flat structure can be pushed into the frame with the seal attached.

If the distance between the abutment surface of the frame and derjeni conditions of the sheet is chosen too small, it will not be possible to push the sheet into place in the frame without damaging the seal, even tearing it off in places or entirely from the base; If, on the other hand, if the distance between the two abutting surfaces is too large, one must expect that the flat structure will not sit tightly but with insufficient strength in the frame.

The choice of the distance between the surface elements depends on the weight, the depth of the surface element and the hardness or toughness and elasticity as well as the thickness of the foam seal used. It has proven to be expedient to keep the distance, including tolerance, between the joint surfaces, based on the depth of the surface structure, within the values given in the table below.

Depth <SEP> of <SEP> planar structures <SEP> Distance <SEP> of the <SEP> joint surfaces

<tb> <B> 8-20 </B> <SEP> 10-15
<tb> 20-40 <SEP> 12-17
<tb> 40-60 <SEP> 15-20 As a rule, the foam seal will be about 1 to 3 mm thicker than the distance between the joint surfaces.

For a better understanding, embodiments of the invention are shown in the schematic FIGS. 1 to 9. 1 to 4 show in section some embodiments of the invention. Fig. 5 (1-1V) shows a schematic representation of a construction method of the sheet in the frame, the Fig. 6 to 8 embodiments of surfaces formed in a sandwich construction and Fig .9 a special embodiment for heavy surface structures.

Fig. 1 shows the simplest embodiment of the invention, where 1 is the sheet, 2 is the foam seal and 3 is the frame.

In order to facilitate the insertion of the sheet into the frame, it can be advantageous to design at least one of the abutting surfaces as an inclined plane, the abutting surface opposite the abutting surface formed as an inclined plane forming an angle with respect to the plane of the sheet Size between the vertical th to the plane of the surface structure and the par alleles to the impact surface designed as an inclined plane can be selected. In this way it is possible to push the sheet into the frame with a progressive compression of the seal, without the latter deteriorating in its quality.

Such an embodiment is illustrated in FIGS. 2, 3 and 5 IV.

According to a further embodiment, the frame is formed on its side facing the flat structure as an inclined plane or curved surface, the joint surface of the surface structure of the opposite frame joint surface being arranged perpendicular to the plane of the surface structure or forming an opposite angle (Fig. 3 and Fig. 5 IV). This arrangement of the abutment surfaces has, in addition to the above-mentioned advantage of the inclined plane, for example, that the seal sits better there thanks to the suitable design of the abutment surfaces of the frame on which it comes to rest.

The frame abutment surface can be concave (Fig. 4), flat (Fig. 3 and 5 IV) or also grooved.

If the fastening is particularly strong, as can be the case, for example, with a strong wind hitting the fabric at right angles, it is useful to additionally anchor stops on at least one side of the fabric on the frame to prevent lateral movement of the fabric to be provided, as shown in Figures 2, 3, 5 IV and 9 by no. 4 and 5 are shown. These hits can be designed as a pin or as strips running around the sheet.

In Fig. 5I-IV the installation of a surface structure is now demonstrated. As shown in FIG. I, the seal 2 is attached to the sheet 1. In the assembly stage II, the sheet is placed in a direction perpendicular to its plane in the framework 3 men, which is provided with a stop 4 on the other side.

This frame 3 has a first zone 7 formed as an inclined plane, on which the seal 2 is progressively compressed when it is pushed in, in order then to be positioned firmly on the horizontal surface 8 (III). The flat structure is best pushed into the frame in a direction perpendicular or almost perpendicular to its plane.

Then, as shown in IV, the all-round strip 5, which is seen as a stop, is mounted. FIG. 6 shows the side view of an exemplary embodiment of a flat structure whose different sandwich structure can be seen from the sectional drawings according to a-b in FIGS. 7 and 8.

The core 63 made of hard polyvinyl chloride foam of the Airex O1 / 12 type is provided on both sides with cover layers 61 and 64, which can be made of wood, glass, metal, plastics, glass fiber reinforced plastics or mortar-like masses and the like. In Fig. 7, the seal 62 is glued to the abutment surface of the surface formed and consists of a soft, closed-cell foam, for. B. of the type Airex 20/16.

In FIG. 8 a further variant is shown, according to which the foam core 63 made of Airex 01/12 is extended beyond the cover layers 61 and 64 and thus forms the seal 62.

The fabric can also for. Example as a prefabricated facade element made of different surface elements, such as a glass pane, a window parapet or a Türrah men be built. According to the invention, these various parts can easily be built into a frame and then used as a whole in the facade.

  Depending on the weight of the flat structure, at least the load-bearing foam seal must be made of tough foam material so that the gas pressure that is used to secure the flat structure in the cells is supplemented by the rigid cell walls;

are formed in very heavy surfaces, as shown in Fig. 9, at least on the supporting impact surface of the sheet 1 support elements 6 are arranged, which protrude into the foam seal 2 and. which can be rod, cuboid or cam shaped.

It is, for example, possible to use the fastening of flat structures in this way for the manufacture of ship superstructures or for closing containers.
