Description
Motor vehicle with an engine cover protruding into the driver's compartment The innovation relates to a motor vehicle, in particular a utility vehicle, with an engine cover protruding into the driver's compartment.
The innovation is that a storage container is arranged on the cover hood.
The purpose of the innovation is to give the driver and front passenger a convenient place to put small items they need on the journey within easy reach, without having to take too much space.
In the drawing, the innovation is shown in several exemplary embodiments. FIG. 1 shows a view from the open vehicle door on the steering wheel side towards the instrument panel and the windshield in a diagrammatic representation. 2 and 5 show different execution forms of the storage container arranged on the engine cover, each in cross section.
As FIG. 1 shows, an engine cover 2 protrudes into the driver's compartment from the bulkhead underneath the lower windshield border 1 . The hood consists of two vertical side walls, an inclined footrest 4 facing the passenger seats 3 and a flat top surface 5 (FIGS. 2 to 5). < / B>
A flat storage container 6 is arranged on the latter.
In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 2, the container consists of a base plate 7 and a low, in particular rectangular frame that forms the front and side walls of the container. 8. The container formed in this way is firmly screwed, welded or simply glued onto the cover plate 5 of the engine cover.
In the. In the arrangement according to FIG. 3, the storage container 7, 8 is only loosely stretched or clamped on the motor cover 2. For this purpose, the container side walls protrude downward beyond the base plate and overlap the cover hood side walls 2 with a slight bias.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, the front and side wall frame 8 of the storage container is attached directly to the engine cover 2 and the hood cover 5 at the same time forms the container base.
When arranging after. Fig. 5, the container shape is pressed directly into the ceiling 5 of the motor cover 2.
