Derartigen nichtstarren Verpackungen haften: verschiedene Nachteile an.
Combined opening and pouring device for non-rigid liquid packs Drinks such as milk, fruit juices and the like are very often brought onto the market today in non-rigid disposable packs made of cardboard or plastic. These usually have a prismatic or tetrahedral shape. It is usually opened by cutting off an edge or corner.
Such non-rigid packages adhere to: various disadvantages. For the time being, prismatic packs are not very stable and easily fall over. During the opening process and whenever the opened pack is picked up, excessive pressure must be avoided, as otherwise liquid will be squeezed out as a result of deformation of the walls. Finally, it is difficult to pour out exactly the desired amount without loss, since the path of the pouring jet is unpredictable, especially when pouring out the still full pack, and the packs often attract.
A11 these disadvantages are eliminated by the inventive combined opening and pouring device; This is characterized in that it has a container which receives the liquid packing in such a way that a flat wall surface of the liquid packing comes to lie horizontally in the vicinity of the container opening, and has a lid provided with a continuous pouring tube,
the pouring tube being sufficiently long towards the inside of the container that it protrudes into the interior of the liquid pack when the lid is closed and is designed at its lower end in such a way that it can break through the wall of the liquid pack when the lid is closed.
The lid can be placed loosely on the container or connected to it in an articulated manner. In the latter case, the connection can be fixed, e.g. B. as a hinge, or detachable, z. B. out as a claw connection forms.
So that the device and in particular the pouring tube are easier to clean, it is expedient to either remove the pouring pipe in the lid or to remove the entire lid with the pouring pipe firmly connected to it.
To seal the gap between the pouring tube and the package wall, a special seal can be provided on the underside of the lid. On the other hand, however, a sufficient seal can often already be achieved by conical design of the pouring tube on the underside of the lid. To make pouring easier, the container is expediently provided with a handle.
The entire device is preferably made of plastic.
Two exemplary embodiments are explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, in which: FIG. 1 shows a vertical section through a first embodiment, and FIG. 2 shows a vertical section through a second embodiment.
The embodiment of the device shown in Fig. 1 is true for prismatic packs. It has a prismatic container 2 provided with a handle 1, which receives the liquid pack 3 and to which the lid 5 is connected in an articulated manner by the claw connection 4. With this, the pouring tube 6 is firmly connected to the opposite side of the claw ge. This is chamfered at its lower end 6a and sharp-edged.
On the underside of the cover 6, a seal 7 is provided to seal the gap between the pouring tube 6 and the upper horizontal wall surface 3a of the pack 3. For cleaning, the entire lid, including the pouring tube and seal, can be easily removed from the container.
The embodiment shown in Fig. 2 is intended for tetrahedral packings. It has a container 9 provided with a handle 8. This consists of a casing part 9a and a pocket 9b, recessed in the shape of a tetrahedron, which receives the liquid packing 10 in such a way that one of its triangular wall surfaces 10a comes to lie horizontally in the vicinity of the container opening.
With the container 9, the lid 11 is firmly but hingedly connected by means of the hinge 12. The pouring tube 13 is removably seated in the cover 11 and is held in this by the frictional forces. It is also chamfered and sharp-edged at its lower end 13a. A sufficient seal is achieved in that the pouring tube is conical on the underside of the lid (13b).
