Description

Method for utilizing solid fuels in a gas turbine plant The invention relates to a method for utilizing solid fuels in a gas turbine plant, in which the non-predried fuel is divided into two quantities, one of these quantities is gasified in a first pressure gasifier, the Raw gas saturated with water vapor is fed to a wet deduster, the major part of the fuel gas emitted essentially at the temperature of the circulating water used for dedusting is in one:

The combustion chamber assigned to the first gas turbine of the system is burned and the remaining fuel gas is supplied to the auxiliary combustion chamber of the pressure gasifier.

According to Swiss Patent No. 346.399, solid fuels can be used in a gas turbine system if such fuel is gasified under pressure by means of combustion products which are prepared by burning part of the generator gas in a proportion of the compressed air taken from the main compressor becomes.

This process enables the wet cleaning of the generator gas without its physical heat being transferred to the washing water during washing, without using gas to evaporate the washing water. In addition, the gas is not degraded to a lower heat level and is not discharged with the water. The generator gas can, after wet cleaning and before being introduced into the combustion chamber of the system of the combustion turbine, advantageously, for. B. filtered in an electrostatic precipitator and freed from sulfur products (mainly in the form of hydrogen sulphides).

A condition for preventing the heat exchange between the wash water and gas is a gasification process in which the gas exits the generator and before it enters; the washing device is saturated with water vapor and in which the circulation washing water has the same temperature as the gas entering the washing device. In order to achieve the required conditions for gasification, it was necessary that the gasification agent contained not only oxygen (and nitrogen) but also a certain amount of carbon dioxide and water vapor.

The carbon dioxide and at least part of the water vapor were introduced into the gasification agent by burning part of the generated gas in an auxiliary combustion chamber according to the aforementioned Swiss patent.

The preparation of the required composition of the gasification agent took place in the known method by burning a gas portion in an auxiliary combustion chamber because a combustion turbine system with only one combustion stage was provided.

In another known method for operating a gas turbine system for the use of solid fuels, is. the fuel gas required to operate the turbines is partly generated in a compressed gas generator and partly in a Winkler generator.

The very hot fuel gases generated in the Winkler generator give their sensible heat to a heat boiler from to generate highly superheated water vapor, which is added to the gasification air for the pressure gasifier, if necessary after relaxation in a back pressure turbine.

The Winkler generator and the pressure gas generator are designed in such a way that the water vapor generated in the waste heat boiler behind the Winkler generator can be fully used as a gasification agent for the pressure gasifier. The compressed gas generated is heated after the oils and tar have been extracted in one or more heat exchangers acted upon by the turbine exhaust gases and then fed to the combustion chambers of the gas turbines.

According to the known method, a high pressure and a medium pressure combustion chamber can be provided, for example. In the medium-pressure combustion chamber, the exhaust gases from a high-pressure gas turbine, which is operated with fuel gas from the pressure gasifier, and fuel gas coming from the Winkler generator are burned. This known Ver drive is complicated and its implementation requires a considerable amount of machinery, so that it can only be used for very large systems.

The aim of the invention is to improve the method mentioned at the beginning and described in the said Swiss patent, with an analogous method of gasification and gas cleaning also before a second. and, if appropriate, is taken into consideration prior to further combustion stages of the combustion turbine system.

According to the invention, the exhaust gas flow of the first gas turbine is divided, one part of which is introduced into a second pressure gasifier charged with the other amount of fuel, the raw gas generated in this is fed to a combustion chamber for a second gas turbine after it has been cleaned, where it is burned and the other part of the exhaust gas flow from the first gas turbine as Combustion air used.

It should be emphasized that the drive gases are heated at least once during the expansion by the combustion of the generator gas, which is always produced by blowing part of the combustion products removed after the preceding turbine stage into the pressure generator.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing, which shows the circuit diagram of a combustion turbine system.

The combustion turbine system consists of two turbo compressors K ,, K2 connected in series, between which an intercooler Ch is arranged, and of two turbines T, and T2, which combustion chambers SK, or SK, are connected upstream.

The plant is set up for the use of lumpy coal, which is gasified under pressure in generators G ,, G2. The fuel gas for the first combustion chamber SK is produced according to the known method.

By means of a turbo blower TD, behind the compressor K2, a quantity of the air it promotes is taken and led into an auxiliary combustion chamber PSK, into which, by means of a turbo blower TD2, part of the fuel gas coming from the generator G is also fed is directed.

After the combustion in the auxiliary combustion chamber, the combustion products pass from there as a gasification agent into the pressure generator G ,, from this into a wet cleaner C1 and then into a storage S i. The gas for the high-pressure combustion chamber SK is taken from this memory.

The generator gas for the second (medium pressure) combustion chamber SK2 is produced in accordance with the invention in the pressure generator G2 formed as a medium pressure generator.

Behind the high-pressure turbine T, the exhaust gas flow is divided and the one partial flow of the combustion products is sucked into the generator G2 by means of a turbo blower TDg to generate raw gas, which is drawn off into a cleaner C2 and from this into the medium-pressure combustion chamber SK, where it is burned becomes. The other partial flow of the first gas turbine T is fed as combustion air to the chamber SK2.

The example given represents only one of the possible embodiments of the invention. In particular, the actual system of the combustion turbines can contain more than two turbines, be arranged in a different way, for. B. have a different number of waves or work with more than one heating of the drive medium.
