Drive device for an electrical auxiliary machine attached to a wheel axle bearing, in particular a traction machine For driving electrical auxiliary machines, in particular traction machines from a wheel axle, designs are known that use a clutch that has operational radial and small axial movements and slight Winkelver settings of the axes to be coupled allow against each other. Disadvantages of these designs are the large amount of space required and the poor efficiency or the rapid wear of the coupling parts.
The invention relates to a drive device for an electrical auxiliary machine built on a wheel axle bearing, in particular a tractor, which is driven by the stub axle of the wheel axle via a flexible coupling provided with several springs that dampen the shocks in the circumferential direction and via a gear transmission, the coupling being driven in this way is designed that the connec tion of the stub axle with the transmission is effected during assembly by simply plugging the two coupling halves into one another.
The above he mentioned disadvantages are avoided according to the invention in that a coupling part is attached to the stub axle, which is provided with two drivers on which on lugs that are arranged on the hub of the large gear, acting helical springs are supported, with a cover for the housing of the clutch and transmission is provided, which is provided with a bearing for the large gearwheel, which is essentially coaxial with the stub axle.
The main advantage of the drive device according to the invention consists in the minimal axial extension, which enables the electrical auxiliary machine, in particular the traction generator, to be arranged directly on the cover of the transmission housing. Advantageously, two helical springs each act via a support piece on the lugs arranged on the hub of the gear wheel, the essentially rectangular support piece being provided with a straight guide perpendicular to the support surface and a device for adjusting the spring preload.
The coupling part attached to the stub axle is preferably provided on its end face with two parallel, continuous lugs which have holes for receiving the helical springs and the straight guides of the support pieces and to which the drivers for the helical springs are attached.
The invention is explained below with reference to the drawing, which shows an embodiment of a drive device designed according to the invention. Fig. 1 shows a longitudinal section through the drive device, Fig. 2 shows a section through the coupling perpendicular to the axial direction. A coupling part 2 is attached to the stub axle 1, which has two parallel, continuous lugs 3 on its end face, which are provided with bores for receiving Helical springs 4 and straight guides 5 are provided, which are connected to support pieces 6.
The preload for two coil springs 4 can be adjusted via screw bolts 7 with nuts 8. The coil springs 4 are supported on strip-like drivers 9 that are attached to the 3 approaches. The essentially rectangular on position pieces 6 transmit the torque positively to lugs 10, which are arranged on the hub of the large gear 11 of the transmission. The gear wheel 11 is advantageously mounted on a stub axle 12 which is arranged on the cover 13 of the housing 14 provided for the clutch and transmission. The housing 14 is attached directly to the axle bearing 15.
To seal the housing 14, the coupling part 2 attached to the stub axle 1 is advantageously provided with a labyrinth seal which engages in the housing 14 on the axle bearing side. In this way, the low-viscosity oil in the housing 14, which is used to lubricate the gearbox and clutch, is reliably separated from the lubricating grease of the axle bearing 15.
Taking advantage of the minimum axial expansion of the clutch, the electrical auxiliary machine 16, in particular the tractor, is advantageously attached to the cover 13 of the housing 14, which is preferably used as a bearing plate for the drive-side bearing of the machine shaft. Since it is advantageously essentially parallel to the wheel axis, the pinion 17 which meshes with the gear 11 is arranged on the latter.
The advantages of the device Antriebvorrich described consist in the simple and space-saving structure and in the avoidance of the usual störan due components such. B. cardan shafts, bevel gears or belt drives. The clutch itself largely absorbs shocks in the circumferential direction and protects the spur gear against displacement of the wheel axle, which must have a much larger bearing clearance both radially and axially than would be permissible for the gearbox and alternator. Further advantages can be seen in the fact that the designs z.
B. in rail vehicles are completely independent of the type of bogie used and that the choice of gear ratio for the spur gear is not structurally limited.
