Description

Fig. 1 eine Ansicht der Bettenhebevorrichtung,
Fig. 3 eine Seitenansicht der Seilwinde im Schnitt,
Fig. 4 einen Teil des Fahrkörpers in Draufsicht.

Lifting device for beds and stretchers
The invention relates to a lifting device for beds and medical stretchers, in particular for placing beds and stretchers loaded with a patient on bed carrying frames.

In under stands, air raid shelters, emergency hospitals or the like, emergency bed frames are often provided which have berths in two or, if the height of the room allows, even in three floors. Such emergency bed frames are space-saving and allow comfortable use as long as the user himself can get into an emergency bed, e.g. in crew quarters. Such emergency bed frames cannot, however, fulfill their purpose in emergency hospitals, which are intended to accommodate seriously injured people.

It has been shown time and again during medical exercises that it is practically impossible to transfer a seriously injured person who has been brought to an emergency hospital on a medical stretcher to an upper level of an emergency stand by medical personnel.

It has therefore already been proposed to provide the emergency bed frames only with support arms instead of fixed mattress support nets, on which individual mattress supports with mattresses from such emergency beds can be placed in order to first transfer seriously injured people from a stretcher to a mattress support and then bring them onto the bed support frame to be able to.

Stretchers have also been proposed that are used as an emergency bed themselves and can be placed on a bed support frame and save the patient from being transferred to another bed. In the case of medical exercises, however, it has also been shown that medical personnel, namely women, do not have the necessary physical strength to lift a mattress carrier or a stretcher occupied by a patient at about shoulder height and on the e.g. to slide the support arms of the bed support frame provided with infeed rails.

The aim of the invention is to provide a lifting device which allows beds and medical stretchers to be lifted from the floor onto a bed support frame, to be driven over the storage area and to be placed thereon.

The lifting device according to the invention is characterized by a rectangular, vertical frame with feet projecting substantially to one side of the frame, carrying castors, a running body guided on the side parts of the frame formed into rails, having support arms projecting to the same side of the frame and hanging on a cable and one on both Cable winch with crank drive on the side parts of the frame.

The side parts of the frame, which are designed to form rails, expediently have a U-profile which is open towards the inside of the frame. In order to be able to lower the support arms as close as possible to the floor for the purpose of reaching under beds with low legs and ambulance stretchers, the traveling body can advantageously have two vertically extending guide legs connected by a cross member carrying the support arms, each of which has a lower and an upper roller wear, one of which rests on the inside of the rail and the other on the other inside of the rail.

To operate the cable winch, a crankshaft running parallel to it and mounted on the side parts is advantageously provided with cranks that can be telescopically extended at its ends in order to be able to roll the lifting device so close to a wall that an emergency bed or a medical stretcher can be conveniently placed directly on the Wall-mounted bed support frame can be placed.

An embodiment of the lifting device according to the invention is explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. In the drawing shows:
Fig. 1 is a view of the bed lifting device,
2 shows a section through the traveling body with a view of the cable winch and
Fig. 3 is a side view of the winch in section,
4 shows a part of the running body in plan view.

In the figures, the same reference symbols are set for the same parts. The bed lifter according to FIG. 1 has a vertically standing, rectangular frame with two vertical side parts 11, 12 and two horizontal side parts 13, 14. These four side parts are made of U-iron, the profile being open to the inside of the frame. The four side parts are welded together in the frame corners. At the bottom of the vertical side parts 11, 12, two feet 15, 16, which protrude essentially towards a frame side, are welded to which four castors 17 are attached. On the other side of the frame, the feet only protrude as far as is necessary for the attachment and swiveling freedom of the swivel castor. Each foot is provided with a locking device 18.

The frame side parts 11, 12 serve as rails for the running body. This has two vertically extending guide legs 20, 21 connected by a cross member 19, which each carry an upper roller 22 and a lower roller 23 guided in the rails 11 and 12, respectively. On the cross member 19, two horizontal support arms 24 projecting towards the same frame side as the feet 15, 16 are attached. The rollers 22, 23 have a slightly smaller diameter than the inside width of the rails and the upper rollers 22 lie on the inside of the rails after the projection of the support arms and the lower rollers 23 lie on the other inside of the rails and press with one of their own weight and the load on the support arms 24 caused force against these rail insides.

The traveling body is suspended from two cables 25 which are guided to a common cable winch 27 via cable pulleys 26 attached to the upper frame part 13.

This cable winch has a self-locking locking mechanism known per se and is coupled to a crankshaft 30 via a reduction gear consisting of two spur gears 28, 29. The cable winch 27 and the crankshaft 30 are mounted in bearing plates 31 attached to the vertical frame parts 11, 12 and the transmission of the cable winch is closed with a protective hood 32.

The self-locking ratchet is formed from a ratchet 33, a ratchet ratchet 35 mounted on a fixed pin 34, an expansion ring 36 and a shaft cam 38 protruding from a bearing flange 37 fixed on the winch 27. The ratchet 33 and the expansion ring 36 are mounted between the bearing flange 37 and the gear 28. The expansion ring 36 has a gap into which a driver tooth 39 protruding from the gear wheel 28 engages. The expansion ring 36 also has a pressure surface 40 on which the shaft cam 38 rests. The spreader ring lies snugly against the inner surface of the ratchet ring 33 and under the pressure of the shaft cam under the force of the cables, the spreader ring is held in place by friction in the ratchet ring and blocks the cable winch.

If the driving body is to be lowered, as shown in Fig. 2, the driver tooth 39 presses on the end face 41 of the expansion ring and rotates it, overcoming the static friction, against the locking direction of the pawl 35 in the ratchet ring 33, the shaft cam 38 following the pressure surface 40 and the winch shaft lets the rope roll off.

When it is wound up, the driver tooth presses on the end face 42 of the expanding ring 36, the ratchet ring 33 running as a result of the friction and ratcheting under the pawl 35.

The crankshaft 30 is hollow. At each end of the shaft, a sleeve 43 is used, in which the shaft 44 of a crank 45 is rotatably and slidably seated. On the inner end face of the sleeve 43, a notch 46 is provided with inclined inwardly widening run-in surfaces. At the end of the crank shaft, a driving pin 47 is inserted which, when the crank is pulled out, lies in the notch 46 and thereby couples the crank 45 to the crankshaft 30. The inclined inlet surfaces of the notch 46 prevent the crank shaft 44 from being disengaged as long as the crank is loaded.

In order to prevent the crank from being rotated further and loosening the traction cables when the lower end position of the vehicle is reached, a two-armed locking lever 48 is articulated on the vertical frame part 12, which has a locking lug 49 directed towards the crankshaft 30 at the upper end and the crankshaft itself has a radially protruding tooth 50.

The locking lever rests against a stop 52 under the force of a spring 51 and engages with its lower cranked end 53 in the path of a finger 54 protruding from the guide leg 21. When the guide leg approaches its lower limit position when the driving body is lowered, the finger presses 54 on the lower end of the lever 53 and deflects the locking lever 48 so that the tooth 50 rests against the locking lug 49 and the crank shaft is blocked against further turning.

The bed lifter described has the advantage that the feet 15, 16 protruding essentially towards one side of the frame are low and the running body can be lowered so far that the support arms protruding towards the same side of the frame come to rest between the feet 15, 16 and thus also Can be pushed under stretchers or emergency beds with low legs in order to pick them up and bring them to the designated place.

The cranks 45, which can be pushed into the crankshaft 30 and pulled out to rotate the crankshaft, allow the bed lifter to be moved with one end so close to a wall that emergency beds and stretchers can be placed on racks standing directly on the wall, with the distance between two frames can be smaller than the width of an emergency bed or a stretcher, in that the support arms 24 protruding from the frame and loaded with an emergency bed or stretcher can move over the support arms of an emergency bed frame on which the emergency bed or stretcher is to be placed.
