  Durch Impulsströme beheizter Heizkörper
Die Erfindung betrifft einen durch Impulsströme beheizten Heizkörper zum Verschweissen von elektrisch nicht leitenden, heisssiegelfähigen Folien mit einem Heizbändchen.



   Während die ebenfalls bekannten, durch eingebaute Heizelemente indirekt beheizten Heizkörper für ähnliche Zwecke dauernd auf einer annähernd konstanten Temperatur gehalten werden, sollen bei Impulsheizung die Heizkörper möglichst kühl bleiben.



  Die dem Heizelement nur im Moment des Schweissvorganges impulsweise zugeführte Energie soll möglichst weitgehend auf das zu verschweissende Objekt übertragen werden, und das mit diesem in Berührung stehende Heizbändchen soll sich wieder unter die Schweisstemperatur abkühlen, bevor es von der Schweissnaht abgehoben wird. Die nicht in die Schweissnaht übertragene Wärme soll so rasch als möglich in den Trägerkörper des Heizbändchens abfliessen.



   Die Erfindung bezweckt, die Leistungsfähigkeit von derartigen Impulsheizkörpern zu steigern, d. h. eine raschere Folge von   Arbeitstakten    bei einwandfreier Qualität der Schweissnaht zu ermöglichen.



   Die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Heizbändchen auf einem thermisch gut leitenden Tragkörper gespannt ist und im Vergleich zum Trägerkörper eine sehr kleine Masse aufweist, zum Zwecke, eine rasche Wärmeableitung der im Heizbändchen durch den Stromimpuls erzeugten Wärme zu erzielen.



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes mit Varianten dargestellt.



  Es zeigen:
Fig. 1 einen Abschnitt eines erfindungsgemässen Heizkörpers und
Fig. 2 und 3 je ein Teilstück des Heizkörpers in grösserem Massstab mit verschiedenartigen Ausnehmungen im das Heizbändchen stützenden Teil des Trägerkörpers.



   Der Heizkörper umfasst einen thermisch gut leitenden Trägerkörper 1, z. B. aus Eisen oder Leichtmetall, der einen Kopf 2 von kleinerer Breite aufweist, dessen obere Fläche 2a leicht gewölbt ausgebildet ist. Über der Fläche 2a liegt ein dünnes Heizbändchen 3, das durch zwei mittels Schrauben 4 befestigte Leisten 5 festgeklemmt ist. Das Heizbändchen 3 wird in Längsrichtung von Stromimpulsen durchflossen, die durch Zuleitungen 6 zugeführt werden. Damit der Strom nicht in den Trägerkörper 1 abfliesst, muss dieser gegenüber dem Heizbändchen 3 elektrisch isoliert sein. Anderseits soll ein möglichst guter Wärmeabfluss vom Heizbändchen auf den Trägerkörper gewährleistet sein, damit das Heizbändchen, nachdem es durch einen Stromimpuls erhitzt wurde, und die Schweissung durchgeführt ist, möglichst rasch wieder abkühlt.

   Es hat sich beispielsweise als zweckmässig erwiesen, auf die Unterseite des Heizbändchens 3 eine elektrisch isolierende Schicht 3a (Fig. 2 bzw. 3), z. B. Aluminiumoxyd, Glas oder Keramik aufzubringen, z. B. aufzuspritzen.



  Die Schicht könnte selbstverständlich auch auf die Oberfläche des Kopfes 2   aufgebracht    werden. Bei Anwendung einer Aluminium-Legierung wird die elektrisch isolierende Aluminiumoxyd-Schicht mit Vorteil durch anodische Oxydation erzeugt.



   Anderseits könnte das Heizbändchen 2 auch aus elektrisch nicht leitendem Material bestehen, auf dessen äussere Oberfläche eine elektrisch leitende Schicht aufgedampft oder aufgepritzt ist. Wie die Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen, können an der Oberfläche des Kopfes 2 Ausnehmungen 7 bzw. 8 angeordnet sein, die sich über die ganze Länge oder nur über einen gewissen Abschnitt des Kopfes 2 enstrecken können.



  Das Heizbändchen erhitzt sich dann an diesen Stel  len, an denen kein direkter Wärmeabfluss in den Trägerkörper stattfindet, rascher und höher. Es lassen sich auf diese Weise innerhalb der Schweisszone linienförmige Streifen mit besonders guter Bindung erzielen und damit hochwertige, wirklich dichte Nähte erreichen.



   Um zu verhindern, dass der Trägerkörper 1 sich zu stark erwärmt, kann er mit Hohlräumen, z. B.



  Längsbohrungen 9 (Fig. 1) ausgerüstet werden, durch die Kühlwasser oder Druckluft geleitet wird.   

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH Durch Impulsströme beheizter Heizkörper zum Verschweissen von elektrisch nicht leitenden, heisssiegelfähigen Folien mit einem Heizbändchen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass dieses auf einem thermisch gut leitenden Trägerkörper gespannt ist, wobei das Heizbändchen im Vergleich zum Trägerkörper eine sehr kleine Masse aufweist, zum Zwecke, eine rasche Wärmeableitung der im Heizbändchen durch den Stromimpuls erzeugten Wärme zu erzielen.
    UNTERANSPRÜCHE 1. Heizkörper nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Heizbändchen (3) aus elektrisch leitendem Material besteht und auf die Unterseite des Heizbändchens eine elektrisch isolierende Schicht aufgebracht ist.
    2. Heizkörper nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Heizbändchen (3) aus elektrisch nicht leitendem Material besteht und dass auf die Oberseite des Heizbändchens eine elektrisch leitende Schicht aufgebracht ist.
    3. Heizkörper nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Trägerkörper (1) aus elektrisch leitendem Material besteht und dass er mindestens an der Fläche (2a), die mit dem Heizbändchen (3) in Berührung kommt, eine elektrisch isolierende Schicht aufweist.
    4. Heizkörper nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Trägerkörper (1) im Bereich der beim Schweissen wirksamen Oberfläche des Heizbändchens Ausnehmungen (7, 8) aufweist.
    5. Heizkörper nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Trägerkörper (1) für den Durchfluss eines Kühlmittels bestimmte Hohlräume (9) aufweist.
    6. Heizkörper nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die beim Schweissen wirksame Oberfläche des Heizbändchens gewölbt ist.
