Description

Small device mounting unit The main patent relates to a small device mounting unit.

This is characterized in that it comprises two transport members, one capable of receiving and transporting step by step the parts to be completed, the other capable of receiving and transporting step by step successive reserves of the various supplies to be assembled. , the trajectories followed by these two categories of objects having at least one zone where they pass opposite one another, means being finally provided, allowing the user to act on the first named transport member so as to successively bring each part to be completed in this zone.

The aim pursued by this arrangement is, with the second conveying member having, for example, cells, to extract a supply of the latter to place it on the part, then to start the operation again facing the next cell, containing another supply, and so on. It is also planned to reserve empty cells, next to which the parts will then be scrolled with a view to subjecting them to an inspection or lubrication, for example.

However, the case may occur where the supplies to be placed on the parts do not follow one another without resembling each other, but where the same supply must be placed several times during assembly. In other words, instead of having a sequence of supplies forming a time series a, b, c, d, e, etc., we could have a non-chronological sequence such as < I> a, b, c, a, d, a, b, e, etc. Such cases occur, for example, in the assembly of counter-totalizer disks.

Loading such series of supplies into the cells of their carrier member requires not only more time, but a longer carrier member.

If, on the other hand, by arranging the supplies at a rate of only one type of each on the conveyor member, the latter is moved because of the distribution order adopted, these two drawbacks are avoided.

This is the aim of the present invention, which provides that the transporting member of supply reserves, instead of moving step by step, moves according to a predetermined law such that at least a given supply reserve is present at the at least twice in the area where the two transport members pass opposite each other.

This result can, for example, be obtained by providing for a programmed training of the transport unit carrying reserves of supplies, controlled by cams, punched cards or any other means suitable for obtaining this result.

Considering that the supplies, the installation of which is repeated during the assembly of a type of given part, must be in greater number than those which are used only once, it will be advantageous to provide transport units comprising cells of different capacity (internal volume), for example having the same opening, but different depths, or even transporters with exchangeable cells, allowing them to be placed at various depths in correlation with the assembly program.
