Description

      Zusammenlegbarer Betrachter für Stereoskopbilder Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein zusammenleg barer Betrachter für Stereoskopbilder, welcher da durch gekennzeichnet ist, dass er einen rechteckigen Grundteil aufweist, der mittels sechs parallel zur kür zeren Seite des Grundteils verlaufenden Faltungsli- nien in sieben Teile unterteilt ist, wobei eine der kür zeren Seiten mit der zweiten Faltungslinie, vom freien Ende des Grundteils her gezählt, verbunden ist, der art,

   dass der Betrachter in Seitenansicht gesehen       P-förmig    ausgebildet ist; dass fünf der sieben Teile,  nämlich der dritte bis siebte Teil vom freien Ende des  Grundteils her gezählt, ein fünfeckiges Prisma     bilden,     das durch mindestens zwei klappbare     Ouerwände     stützbar ist; dass der vierte Teil vom freien Ende des  Grundteils her gezählt mit einem Paar Öffnungen  versehen ist, deren Abstand dem menschlichen  Augenabstand entspricht, dass der fünfte und der  sechste Teil, vom freien Ende des Grundteils her ge  zählt eine     Ausnehmung    für den Lichtdurchlass auf  weisen;

  Eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfin  dungsgegenstandes ist in der Zeichnung dargestellt.  Es zeigen:       Fig.    1 eine perspektivische Ansicht des Betrach  ters in     auseinandergefaltetem    Zustand;       Fig.    2 eine gleiche Ansicht wie in     Fig.    1, jedoch  mit entferntem Frontteil, um zu zeigen, wie die bei  den Seitenwände und die Trennwand mittels der bei  den Daumen des Benützers vertikal aufgerichtet wer  den;

         Fig. 3 eine perspektivische Ansicht des in Fig. 1 dargestellten Betrachters, um zu zeigen, wie er gefal tet wird, wobei ein Frontteil und der Bilderhalter hin untergeklappt und der Deckteil gefaltet sind; und Fig. 4 eine perspektivische Ansicht vom Unterteil des Betrachters her, wobei letzterer in vollständig zusammengeklapptem Zustand gezeigt ist.

      Collapsible viewer for stereoscopic images The subject of the invention is a collapsible viewer for stereoscopic images, which is characterized in that it has a rectangular base part, which is divided into seven parts by means of six folding lines running parallel to the shorter side of the base part, one being the shorter sides are connected to the second fold line, counting from the free end of the base part, of the type

   that the viewer is formed in a P-shape when viewed from the side; that five of the seven parts, namely the third to the seventh part counting from the free end of the base part, form a pentagonal prism which can be supported by at least two hinged outer walls; that the fourth part, counting from the free end of the base part, is provided with a pair of openings whose distance corresponds to the human eye relief; that the fifth and sixth part, counting from the free end of the base part, have a recess for light to pass through;

   and that the seventh part, counting from the free end of the base part, is provided with a hook for receiving the images.

  An example embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a perspective view of the viewer in the unfolded state; FIG. 2 is the same view as in FIG. 1, but with the front part removed to show how the side walls and the partition wall are erected vertically by means of the thumbs of the user;

         Fig. 3 is a perspective view of the viewer shown in Fig. 1 to show how it is folded, with a front part and the picture holder folded down and the top part folded; and FIG. 4 is a perspective view from the lower part of the viewer, the latter being shown in a fully collapsed state.

  In Figs. 1 and 2, 1 denotes a rectangular base, which is divided into seven rectangular parts by six fold lines parallel to the short Ren side of the base part 1.

  One of the shorter sides of the base part 1 is connected to the fold line F, the second fold line counting from the free end of the base part 1, to form a P-like shape when viewed from the side.

  The seven parts are named below, from the lower end of the vertical line of the P: a flap part 7, a cover part 6, a bottom part 2 (see Fig. 2), a front viewing part 4, a front lettering part 3, a top part 3 ' and a back part 5. The rectangular part ABCD of the upper part 3 'is cut out to form a rectangular part AB'D'D of the back part 5. Just next to the rectangular opening ABCD, an arcuate cutout BEC is provided in the inscription part 3.

   In this embodiment, the part AB'D'D of the back part 5 can pass unhindered through the cut-out opening ABECD, which also serves as an opening for the admission of light when viewing the stereo photos. A part 5 'is attached to the back part 5 which has a cutout for the photos to be viewed and which has the same external shape as part 5, so that these two parts 5 and 5' have a holder between them for taking photos form.

  Two circular openings are arranged in the observation part 4, the distance between them corresponding to the human eye distance. A pair of convex lenses 12L and 12R, each with a corresponding focal length and a diameter that is slightly larger than that of the openings mentioned, are attached to the part 4 by a strip 16 with corresponding openings.

       Fig. 2 is a view in which most of the lettering part 3 and the viewing part 4 are removed to show the inside of the viewer. As can be seen from this, a right side wall 8, a partition wall 9 and a left side wall 10, all of which have the same pentagonal shape, are connected to the bottom part 2 in such a way that they can be raised or folded down by means of the fingers.

   These pentagonal parts 8, 9 and 10 serve as a support to ensure a stable formation of the pentagonal prism, which is formed by the bottom part 2, the viewing part 4, the lettering part 3, the top part 3 'and the back part 5.

   The right side part 8 and the partition wall 9 are connected by means of a strip 14 so that they can be set up or folded down with one another. Fig. 2 shows how the left side wall 10 and the right side wall 8 are set up together with the separation wall 9 to the left and to the right by means of the thumb, which can be inserted through the provided in the bottom part 2 elliptical openings 13L and 13R.

  The following describes how the viewer is unfolded and used. In the photo holder 5, 5 ', a plurality of photographs 15L and 15R are first placed. For this purpose, the cover part 6 is first opened and the photo holder 5, 5 'is set up. Then, the main part of the viewer is held with both hands as shown in Fig. 2, and the left and right side walls 8 and 9 are erected. Since the partition wall 9 is set up together with the side wall 8 by means of both thumbs, which are guided through the openings 13L and 13R.

    Now, for viewing stereo photos, it is only necessary to bring the eyes close enough to the lenses 12L and 12R in the viewing part 4 until a clear image is obtained.

  If the viewer is to be collapsed, the procedure is the reverse of that of Aufstel len; H. first the left side wall 10, then the right side wall 8 and the partition wall 9 on the bottom part 2 (the order of these actions can also be reversed), then the photo holder 5, 5 'is folded down through the cutout ABECD to the right Side wall 8 and the partition wall 9, which have already been put together, pressed, and then the upper part 3 'ge against the back part 5 is pressed. As a result, the inscription part 3 and the viewing part 4 are stretched,

      so that these two parts form a single plane; Finally, the cover part 6 and the folding part 7 are folded to cover these components partially, and thus the folding is completed (see Fig. 4).

  As indicated in Fig. 1, a label can be attached to the label part 3, such as, for. B. Merry Christmas, and likewise the external appearance of the viewer can be enhanced ver by attaching a suitable motif on the cover part 6. If the viewer is to be sent, the address can be placed on the folding part 7 in the same way as with postcards.

  The device according to the invention has the great advantage that it can be made from paper, cardboard or other cheap material and folded into a flat and manageable structure the size of a postcard. It can also be used as an envelope for postcards, greeting greeting cards or the like, and can be easily unfolded to view stereo photos.
