Description
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre: d#éxemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de la présente invention: La fig. 1 en est une élévation de face; la fig. 2 en est une coupe selon II-II de la fig. 1; la fig. 3 est une vue de détail dé\ 1a fig. 2, à plus grande échelle; la fig. 4 est une vue en perspective d'un élément de la fig. 2;
(fig.
Chalet We know of chalets whose angles have a series of projecting beams crossing at right angles.
In chalets of relatively old construction, these beams form part of the strong frame of the chalet.
In more modern chalets, these beams are in fact only a decorative element and are generally formed by blocks fixed orthogonally to the walls of the chalet. These blocks therefore do not help support the stresses to which a chalet is usually subjected.
The present invention relates to a chalet of the above type, characterized in that the end beams are formed by two series of orthogonal blocks stacked on vertical pins, the walls of the chalet being formed by panels engaged by their vertical edge in a corresponding groove hollowed out in the blocks which are perpendicular to them and recur- ring the rear part of the other blocks so that only their front part protrudes at the corresponding angle of the chalet.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of: example, an embodiment of the object of the present invention: FIG. 1 is a front elevation; fig. 2 is a section along II-II of FIG. 1; fig. 3 is a detail view of FIG. 2, on a larger scale; fig. 4 is a perspective view of an element of FIG. 2;
fig. 5 is a section along V-V of FIG. 3.
The four corners of the chalet shown A, B, C and D are formed by as many folds of studs 1 and 2 arranged perpendicularly to each other and threaded on vertical pins 3 and 4 fixed at their base on a wall 5 on which the chalet is mounted. These studs each have a parallelepiped cutout 6 on their upper face (fig. 4)
of depth corresponding to half their height and of width equal to the width of the studs which are perpendicular to them. As shown, the pads 1 and 2 are nested one inside the other by engaging the sound part of one in the cutout of the pad immediately below.
Each vertical pin 3 or 4 is threaded at its upper end (fig. 5) and passes through an angular rectangle belt 7 (fig. 1 and 5) on which a nut 4a is tightened. This belt constitutes the connecting member of the various pins 3 and 4 of each corner A, B, C or D.
Halfway between the corners A and D, B and C, the chalet shown has a vertical upright 8, respectively 9, fixed to the wall 5 by any suitable means and intended to transversely reinforce the side walls of the chalet between these corners .
In the example shown, the right or left side wall of the chalet is formed by a set of horizontal boards, 10a, and vertical, 10b, having, at the height of the pillar 8 or 9, a vertical groove at the tail of a round formed on their opposite faces and in which is engaged a slat 11a and 11b engaging in a corresponding groove, also dovetail, hollowed out in the opposite faces of the pilher 8 or 9.
At each end, the outer boards 10a are engaged in a groove 2a made in the studs 2 of the corresponding corner of the chalet, this groove being hollowed out along the outer side face of the studs 1 so that the boards 10a cover the part posterior of these studs.
The studs 1 are joined to the pillar 8 or 9 by horizontal tie rods 12.
As a variant, only some of the pads 1 would be fixed in this way to the corresponding pillar.
The studs 1 have a groove 1a similar to the groove 2a previously described and in which are engaged superposed boards 13 engaged by their other end with a groove 14a made in the upright 14b of the window 14 (FIG. 3).
In its part immediately above or below this window, the boards 13 extend to the stud 1 of the corner A, respectively to the door 15. The boards 10b, which are vertical, are interwoven. quées one inside the other by their edge and form the internal wall of the chalet; they are at a distance from the external wall of this chalet corresponding to the thickness of the blocks 1 and 2. The boards forming the corners of this internal wall are fixed directly to the blocks 1 and 2.
(fig. 3) A similar assembly is made at corners A, D and C where the boards forming the internal and external sides of the elements of the internal and external walls are engaged in grooves cut in the right and left uprights of the door 15.
The thermal insulation of the chalet is carried out by intermediate panels 17.
