Description

  Es zeigen:       Fig.    1 einen Schnitt durch einen nur teilweise dar  gestellten     Unterputzeinlasskasten    mit einer     Rohreinfüh-          rungsstelle,    deren Membran noch nicht durchstossen ist  und sich an einem in die Kastenwand dicht eingesetzten  Einsatzstück befindet;       Fig.2    einen Schnitt analog demjenigen der     Fig.    1  mit einem in das Einsatzstück eingeschobenen, die Mem  bran durchdringenden Rohr;

         Fig.    3 ein zweites Ausführungsbeispiel des     Einlass-          kastens,    ebenfalls im Schnitt analog der     Fig.    1, mit ei-           nem    anders ausgebildeten Einsatzstück, das eine noch       nicht    durchstossene Membran aufweist;       Fig.    4 das gleiche Beispiel wie in     Fig.    3     mit    einem  die Membran durchdringenden Rohr;

         Fig.    5 einen Schnitt durch ein drittes Ausführungs  beispiel eines nur teilweise dargestellten     Unterputzein-          lasskastens    mit einer noch nicht durchstossenen Mem  bran, die unmittelbar einen Teil der Seitenwand des  Kastens bildet;       Fig.    6 einen Schnitt analog der     Fig.    5 mit einem die  Membran durchdringenden Rohr;

         Fig. 7 eine zu Fig. 6 analoge Darstellung einer Aus- führungsvariante mit einem Verstärkungsrahmen, der die Kastenwand von innen stützt; Fig. 8 einen Schnitt analog der Fig. 7 durch eine weitere Ausführungsvariante mit einem äusseren Ver stärkungsrahmen.

      Electrical installation box, in particular a flush-mounted inlet box The present invention relates to an electrical installation box, in particular a flush-mounted inlet box, with at least one point intended for inserting a pipe.

       Flush-mounted inlet boxes for low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems are often attached to the back of the formwork in an appropriate way for setting in concrete, especially with exposed concrete. It is important that the box behind the formwork is tight so that no cement milk can penetrate the cavity of the box when it is set in concrete.

  In the case of the flush-mounted inlet boxes of the known type, the inlet openings for the pipes used to accommodate the electrical lines in particular involve the risk of leakage. These insertion openings are made by breaking out or by cutting out appropriately prepared shear walls. When breaking out, it is practically impossible to obtain an opening with a smooth edge that corresponds exactly to the outer pipe diameter.

   Since tubes of different outside diameters often have to be used, it is not possible to see weakening zones in the material that facilitate breaking or cutting at the appropriate point. An opening that exactly corresponds to the pipe diameter cannot be reached even when the shear wall is cut out. These difficulties are evident not only in the case of inlet boxes with shear walls mounted directly in the box walls, but also with boxes with the shear walls having the sliders that are releasably inserted into matching recesses in the Ka stenwand.

  Since the wall thickness of the shear walls is generally small, there is a narrow support point for the pipes at the Einführöffnun conditions, which means that they are insufficiently fixed to the box in the axial and radial directions, which often results in the pipes being moved relative to the box when concreted in Consequence. As the tubes slide out of the insertion openings, the risk of cement milk running into the box cavity is of course still considerably increased.

  The points of introduction of the tubes into the openings of the inlet box produced by removing the shear walls therefore require careful sealing in order to keep the interior of the box clean. Such a seal requires additional work and the use of a suitable sealing material, for. B. in the form of a tube on receiving hollow plug, which causes additional costs ver.

  In order to exclude these disadvantages, an electrical installation box is proposed according to the invention, which is characterized in that the pipe insertion point has a splinter- and crack-free pierceable membrane, the cross-section of which increases steadily from the center of the membrane towards the periphery.

       At least the membrane can expediently consist of a polymeric thermoplastic material, preferably a copolymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate.

  The invention is illustrated in the following description and the accompanying drawings using meh rerer exemplary embodiments.

  1 shows a section through a concealed inlet box, which is only partially shown, with a pipe entry point, the membrane of which has not yet been pierced and is located on an insert piece tightly inserted into the box wall; 2 shows a section analogous to that of FIG. 1 with an inserted into the insert, the membrane penetrating tube;

         3 shows a second exemplary embodiment of the inlet box, also in section analogous to FIG. 1, with a differently designed insert that has a membrane that has not yet been pierced; 4 shows the same example as in FIG. 3 with a tube penetrating the membrane;

         5 shows a section through a third embodiment example of a concealed inlet box, shown only partially, with a membrane that has not yet been pierced and which directly forms part of the side wall of the box; 6 shows a section analogous to FIG. 5 with a tube penetrating the membrane;

         7 shows an illustration, analogous to FIG. 6, of an embodiment variant with a reinforcement frame that supports the box wall from the inside; FIG. 8 shows a section similar to FIG. 7 through a further embodiment variant with an outer reinforcement frame.

  The flush-mounted inlet box 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a bottom 2 and side walls 3, only one of which is shown in section. In a round opening 4 of the side wall 3 of the inlet box 1, an insert 5 made of polymeric thermoplastic material in the manner of a plug is releasably inserted. The insert 5 has a part designed as a pipe socket 6 and a membrane 7 arranged in the central part of the pipe socket 6. The pipe socket 6 forms a reinforced peripheral edge of the membrane 7.

   Both parts are made of the same piece of material.

  The cross-sectional thickness of the membrane 7 is not constant, but increases steadily from the center of the membrane in the direction towards its periphery. In the illustrated embodiment, the increase in cross section is linear with a slope of preferably 3 to 5 / o. Has the membrane 7 z. B. a diam water of about 25 mm, the cross-sectional thickness is 0.5 mm in the middle and approximately 1 mm on the periphery.

   A membrane formed in the manner described can be pierced by means of a sharp object without splinters or cracks. A copolymer of ethylene-vinyl acetate has proven to be a suitable material. The periphery of the membrane 7 merges into the inner surface of the pipe socket 6 without sharp edges.

  In order to ensure a good, liquid-tight fit of the insert 5 in the opening 4, the side wall 3 has an annular extension 10 on the outside, which is used to center the insert 5 and has a conical conical shape that tapers towards the interior of the flush-mounting box 1 Inner surface 11 is provided, which interacts with a conical outer surface 12 of the insert 5. The end of the pipe socket 6 facing the interior of the box has a circumferential bead 13 of enlarged diameter, which is intended to overlap the inside of the box wall 3 and thereby secure the insert 5 against falling out of the opening 4.

  When inserting the insert 5 into the opening 4, the part of the pipe socket 6 pointing into the interior of the inlet box is elastically deformed inwards in order to expand elastically after insertion so that the bead 13 engages behind the inner surface of the side wall 3. By the bead 13 on the one hand and the conical surface 12 of the insert 5 on the other hand, a firm and watertight seat of the insert in the side wall 3 is guaranteed.

   Since the free passage of the pipe socket 6 is closed by the membrane 7, the interior of the concealed inlet box 1 is protected against the entry of dust and moisture through the opening 4 through ge.

  The box body 1 generally has several openings 4, all of which are closed in the manner described by means of an insert 5.

  In order to insert a pipe 15 into the flush-mounted inlet box 1 described, the membrane 7 concerned first is pierced with a pointed mandrel of preferably round cross-section, the diameter of which is smaller than that of the pipe 15 to be inserted. Since the cross-section of the membrane 7 extends from the center point from enlarged towards the periphery, and since the material resistance to be overcome when piercing the membrane 7 is in a proportional ratio to the cross-section, the mandrel, if it was not placed exactly in the center of the membrane 7, is automatically replaced by the the ge called ratio dependent forces centered.

   The centering of the mandrel pushed eccentrically into the membrane takes place until the resistance forces originating from the membrane are distributed approximately evenly over the circumference of the mandrel, which is only the case when the axis of the mandrel coincides with the center of the membrane coincides. The tube 15 can then be pushed into the opening of the membrane 7 prepared in this way by hand, the ring belt 7a running around the prepared opening being turned over against the interior of the box and since a cuff that nestles against the outer surface of the tube 15 is formed as Fig. 2 shows.

   It is noteworthy that this sleeve 7a neither cracks nor splinters. It holds the tube 15 by frictional force in the radial and axial direction firmly in the insert 5 and causes a dust-tight and watertight seal between the tube 15 and the peripheral part of the membrane 7. So that the mem brane can meet these conditions, not only has to be their Thermoplastic material used in the production process have suitable properties in terms of softness, elasticity and tear resistance, but also the thickness of the membrane steadily increase from its center towards the periphery, as described above.

  The embodiment of a concealed inlet box shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 has, instead of the plug-like insert 5, an insert 25 shaped as a slide, which is provided with the push-through membrane 7. The periphery of the membrane 7 merges into a peripheral edge 26 considerably larger cross-section, with the membrane 7 and the peripheral edge 26 from the same work piece made of polymeric thermoplastic be available.

   The insert 25 is shown in Figs. 3 and 4 from below, i. H. in parallel to the membrane 7 Rich device into a matching recess 24 in the side wall 23 of the box body 21 is inserted. To Füh tion of the insert 25 when inserting and sealing the same against the side wall 23, the peripheral edge 26, with the exception of the lower surface in the Fi gures, outside a protruding rib 32 which engages in a corresponding groove 31 on the circumference of the recess 24 is determined. The groove 31 and the rib 32 extend in a to be taken side wall 23 of the box body 21 paral lelen plane.

   The lower part of the peripheral edge 26 in FIGS. 3 and 4 has a projection 34 which engages over a shoulder 35 of the bottom 22 of the box body 21 in order to also provide a tight seal between the box body 21 and the insert 25 at this point to guarantee.

  The membrane 7 is the same as in he most embodiment. The piercing of the mem brane and the insertion of a tube 15 (Fig. 4) he also follow in the same way as was described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

  It is possible to provide two or more pipe insertion points, each with a membrane, in the insert 25, which is designed as a slide, so that a separate insert is not required for each membrane.

  In the embodiment according to FIGS. 5 and 6, the membrane 7 is directly a part of the relevant side wall 43 of the box body 41, which is thus completely constantly made of the same polymeric thermoplastic material as the membrane. In this embodiment, the periphery of the membrane 7 merges into a surrounding edge 46 which is part of the relevant side wall 43 of the box body 41. In contrast to the embodiment shown, the peripheral edge 46 does not need to protrude on the outside of the wall 43 in the form of a bead. The introduction of a tube 15 (FIG. 6) is done in the same way as in the examples described above.

  A certain disadvantage of the installation box made entirely of the relatively soft thermoplastic material according to FIGS. 5 and 6 is that the mechanical strength of the box body 41 is inadequate for some applications. In order to remedy this disadvantage, the side walls 43 of the box body 41 are stiffened in the white direct embodiment of FIG. 7 by a reinforcing frame 50 made of another, harder material, which is releasably inserted into the box body 41 and whose side walls 43 are supported from the inside.

    The reinforcement frame 50 has a recess 51 in the region of each membrane 7, into which a tube 15 and the collar 7a formed from the piercing membrane 7 can enter.

  In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, a reinforcing frame 60 made of harder mate rial is also present, but in this case pushed onto the outside of the box body 41 so that the reinforcing frame 60 supports the side walls 43 of the Kastenkör pers 41 from the outside. In the area of each Mem brane 7 there is again a recess 61 on the reinforcement frame 60 in order to allow a tube 15 to be inserted into the box to pass through. The reinforcing frame 60 is expediently detachably attached to the box body 41.

  The main advantages of all described exemplary embodiments of the installation box according to the invention are: Before the membrane 7 is pierced, the box is closed dust-tight and waterproof at the relevant point. The membrane 7 can be pierced easily with the aid of any pointed object, preferably a mandrel with a smaller diameter than the tube 15 to be inserted. A tube 15 of any diameter can be inserted into the previously pierced membrane 7, provided that the outer diameter of the tube is smaller than that of the membrane.

   In any case, a part of the membrane in the form of a cuff 7a rests closely against the outer surface of the pipe 15 in order to provide the necessary mechanical support in the installation box through the pipe and to provide a tight seal between the pipe and the box guarantee. If desired, the tube 15 can be pulled out and then pushed back in again. It is also possible to replace a pipe that has been inserted with another one with a larger diameter.

   In contrast to the well-known installation box with breakable shear walls, no parts need to be broken out in the box according to the invention, so that the inconveniences and risks associated therewith lapse.

  The exemplary embodiments according to FIGS. 1 to 4 have the further advantage that the pierceable membrane 7 is provided on a detachable and exchangeable insert 5 or 25. This gives the possibility of replacing an erroneously pierced mem brane 7 or one with an opening that is too large without having to replace the whole box. The insert pieces 5 and 25 with the pierceable membrane 7 can also be attached to already existing box bodies 1 and 21, respectively.
