Des formes d'exécution seront décrites,à titre d'exemple, en se référant au dessin ci-joint, dans lequel: La fig. 1 représente un appareil utilisant deux goupilles et un cylindre mobile; la fig. 2 représente un appareil utilisant trois goupilles fixes et une tige centrale mobile; la fig. 3 une vue en perspective de la tige de la fig. 2; la fig. 4 un appareilà deux goupilles fixes età galets mobiles; la fig. 5 une vue en coupe verticalede l'appareil de la fig. 4;
The present invention relates to an apparatus for cutting the center of a timepiece hairspring according to a determined diameter.
During the adjustment operations, from way to to allow the fixing of the ferrule, the hairspring must be cut in its center to a well-defined diameter.
In current devices, the cut-off point is determined by fixing a well-defined angle between the radius. vector of the cutoff point and that of the outer end.
The drawback of this process lies mainly in the fact that the hairsprings thus cut do not necessarily have a constant internal diameter, that is to say that during the following operations, consisting of to bend the inner coil and to fix the hairspring to its ferrule, the inner diameter of the hairspring will vary to some extent from the diameter of the ferrule.
The object of the present invention is to create an apparatus making it possible to cut the center of a clockwork balance spring to a determined diameter to using a simple device.
The apparatus according to the invention is characterized by the fact that it comprises means for driving the hairspring in a rotational movement around its origin, means making it possible to determine a position of the hairspring corresponding to to a predetermined diameter, as well as means for cutting the hairspring at a point located at the new inner end of the hairspring.
Embodiments will be described, to by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which : FIG. 1 shows an apparatus using two pins and a movable cylinder ; fig. 2 shows an apparatus using three fixed pins and a movable central rod ; FIG. 3 a perspective view of the rod of FIG. 2 ; fig. 4 an apparatus with two fixed pins and with movable rollers ; FIG. 5 a vertical sectional view of the apparatus of FIG. 4 ;
fig. 6, a detail of the pebbles. In the device according to fig. 1, the mo bile cylinder 1 comes to press the hairspring against the two pins 2 and 3. By its rotation, the cylinder drives by friction the hairspring to which it imprints a rotating movement. This movement is stopped manually, or automatically by appropriate means such as pressure on an electrical contact, when a point chosen on a coil closes the electrical contact 6 of the control circuit 5, or manually, when with the help of a microscope, it is found that the hairspring is in the desired position, which marks the cutoff point of the coil.
The inside diameter of the hairspring is at that moment perfectly determined. Pins 2 and 3 have a diameter determined by the distance between two consecutive turns. The cylinder 1 must have a sufficiently large diameter to ensure sufficient friction and not to deform the coil on which it acts.
Uapparcil shown in fig. 2 and 3 com carries a hollow shaft 10 split longitudinally, the conical end of which 11 has been spiral-ground and three pins 2, < B> 3 and 4, fixed on the work table. These three pins will be used to maintain the hairspring and more precisely the coil to cut in its position ÇorrectÇ #, This device operates as follows : The hollow rod is brought into a high position, above the end of pins 2, 3 and 4. Then the hairspring 7 </ B> on the conical part 11, on which it takes a position corresponding to its inside diameter, its bent part engaging in the slot in the rod.
Then the procedure is as in the example of FIG. 1, by rotating the hairspring, this time with using the hollow rod 10 until the coil to cut is exactly between the indexes 8 and 9. At this instant, the rod is withdrawn, causing the hairspring, the turns of which are engaged on either side of the pins. The hairspring is thus maintained in the position where the cutting tool is to work. This embodiment has the advantage over to that shown to in FIG. 1, that the hairspring is driven by a thrust exerted on its bent part and not by friction on a coil and that the risks of deformation of the hairspring are eliminated.
In the apparatus shown in FIGS. 4, 5 and 6, the hairspring comes to rest on two orientation stops 12 and 13 and its rotational movement is provided by two rollers , including an upper drive roller 14 and a lower guide roller 15, provided with a groove 16 to prevent a radial displacement of the spiral engaged. Then in the same way as in the previous examples, we rotate the hairspring on itself until the coil to bend with the indexes 8 coincides. and 9. The internal diameter of the spiral is thus well defined.
In the three embodiments, the indexes can be replaced by a sensitive electrical contact or any other suitable means, either electromechanical or photoelectric, to automatically stop the hairspring and control the cutting tool.
The knife (not shown) can in the apparatus shown in Figs, 2 and 3, be disposed inside the interior of the hollow rod, so that the 'a very compact and rigid device is obtained due to the very short arm carrying the knife.
