In dieser Formel bedeuten jeder der Reste R1 und R2 ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom, eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe, einen organischen Carbonyl=, Sulfonyl-,
Carbonylamino- oder Sulfonylaminorest oder eine Carbonsäureester-, Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppe, R3 ein Halogenatom, eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe, einen organischen Carbonyl-, Sulfo- nyl-, Carbonylamino- oder Sulfonylaminorest oder eine Carbonsäureester-,
Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppe, R4 eine Alkylgmppe, R5 und R5 gegebenenfalls substituierte Kohlenwasser- stoffreste, R7 ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom oder eine Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe und Y eine -CO-, -C00- oder -SO2-Gruppe,
Von den genannten Gruppen von Substituenten sind Chlor- und Bromatome und Alkylgruppen mit 1 bis 4 und vor allem mit 1 bis 2 Kohlenstoffatomen und die entsprechenden Alkoxy-, Alkylcarbonyl , Alkylcarbonyl amino-, Alkylsulfonyl- und Alkyloxycarbonylgruppen besonders bevorzugt.
Die Carbonsäure- und Sulfon- säureamidgruppen. können mono- oder disubstituiert sein, wobei als Substituenten z. B.
Alkyl- oder Aryl- reste, insbesondere niedrigmolekulare Alkylreste und Phenylreste, die weitersubstituiert sein können, sowie Cycloalkylreste oder heteroeyclische Reste in Betracht kommen. Bevorzugte Kohlenwasserstoffreste R5 und R6 sind niedrigmolekulare Alkylgruppen, insbesondere mit 2 Kohlenstoffatomen, die z.

Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamid- gruppe, R3, ein Halogenatom, eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe, einen organischen Carbonyl-, Sulfo- nyl , Carbonylamino- oder Sulfonylaminorest oder eine Carbonsäureester-, Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppe,

Die Kupplung wird im allgemeinen in saurem, gege benenfalls gepuffertem Medium in der Kälte, beispiels weise bei Temperaturen zwischen 0 und 5 C, vor genommen.
Die so erhaltenen Farbstoffe werden vor ihrer Ver wendung besonders vorteilhaft in Farbstoffpräparate übergeführt. Hierzu kann man sie zerkleinern, so dass ihre Teilchengrösse im Mittel zwischen etwa 0,01 und 10 Mikron und insbesondere zwischen etwa 0,1 und 5 Mikron beträgt. Das Zerkleinern kann in Gegenwart von Dispergiermitteln und/oder Füllmitteln erfolgen.
Beispielsweise wird der getrocknete Farbstoff mit einem Dispergiermittel, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von Füll mitteln, gemahlen oder in Pastenform mit einem Di- spergiermittel geknetet und hierauf im Vakuum oder durch Zerstäuben getrocknet. Mit den so erhaltenen Präparaten kann man, nach Zugabe von mehr oder weniger Wasser, in sogenannter langer oder kurzer Flotte färben oder klotzen oder bedrucken, Beim Färben in langer Flotte wendet man im all gemeinen bis zu etwa 20 g Farbstoff im Liter an, beim.
Färben in kurzer Flotte bis zu etwa 80 g im Liter, beim Klotzen bis zu etwa 150 g im Liter und beim Drucken bis zu etwa 150 g im Kilogramm Druckpaste. Das Flottenverhältnis kann innerhalb weiter Grenzen ge wählt werden, z. B. zwischen etwa 1 : 3 und 1 : 200, vorzugsweise zwischen 1 : 3 und 1 : 80.
Die in Wasser schwerlöslichen bis unlöslichen Farb stoffe ziehen aus wässriger Suspension ausgezeichnet auf Formkörper aus vollsynthetischen oder halbsynthetischen hochmolekularen Stoffen auf.
Besonders geeignet sind sie zum Färben, Klotzen oder Bedrucken von Fasern, Fäden oder Vliesen, Geweben oder Gewirken aus li nearen, aromatischen Polyestern sowie aus Cellulose- 21/2-acetat oder Cellulosetriacetat. Auch synthetische Polyamide, Polyolefine, Acrylnitrilpolymerisationspro- dukte und Polyvinylverbindungen lassen sich mit ihnen färben. Besonders wertvolle Färbungen werden auf linearen, aromatischen Polyestern erhalten.
Diese sind im allgemeinen Polykondensationsprodukte aus Tere- phthalsäure und Glykolen, besonders Äthylenglykol, und z. B. unter den geschützten Bezeichnungen Terylene , Diolen oder Dacron im Handel. Aber auch ähn liche Produkte, wie z. B. Kodel , das ein Kondensa tionsprodukt aus Terephthalsäure und 1,4-Bis-(hydroxy- methyl)-hexahydrobenzol sein soll; lassen sich in dieser Weise färben.
Die neuen Farbstoffe sind ausserdem wertvolle Pigmentfarbstoffe zum Färben von Massen aus Kunst stoffen, Kautschuk; natürlichen oder synthetischen Harzen oder Lösungen dieser Stoffe und können zum Bedrucken von Filmen, Folien, Textilien aus Natur fasern, Leder oder Papier dienen.
Man färbt nach an sich bekannten Verfahren. Poly esterfasern können in Gegenwart von Carriern bei Temperaturen zwischen etwa 80 und 125 C oder in Abwesenheit von Carriern unter Druck bei etwa 100 bis 140 C nach dem Ausziehverfahren gefärbt werden. Ferner kann man sie mit den wässrigen Dispersionen der neuen Farbstoffe klotzen oder bedrucken und die erhaltene Imprägnierung bei etwa 140 bis 230 C fixieren, z.
B. mit Hilfe von Wasserdampf, Kontakthitze oder heisser Luft. Im. besonders günstigen Temperatur bereich zwischen 180 und 200 C diffundieren die Farbstoffe schnell in die Polyesterfaser ein und sublimie ren nicht wieder, auch wenn man diese hohen Tempe raturen längere Zeit einwirken lässt. Dadurch wird das lästige Verschmutzen der Färbeapparaturen vermieden. Cellulose-21/2-acetat färbt man vorzugsweise zwischen ungefähr 65 und 85 C und Cellulosetriacetat bei, Temperaturen bis zu 115 C. Der günstigste pH- Bereich liegt zwischen 2 und 9 und besonders zwischen 4 und B.
Meist gibt man die üblichen Dispergiermittel zu, die vorzugsweise anionisch oder nichtionogen sind und auch im Gemisch miteinander verwendet werden können. Etwa 0,5g Dispergiermittel je Liter Farbstoffzuberei- tung sind oft genügend, doch können auch grössere Mengen, z. B. bis zu etwa 3 g im Liter, angewandt werden. 5 g im Liter übersteigende Mengen. ergeben meist keinen weiteren Vorteil.
Bekannte anionische Dispergiermittel, die für das Verfahren in Betracht kommen, sind beispielsweise Kondensationsprodukte aus Naphthalinsulfonsäuren und Formaldehyd, insbesondere Dinaphthylmethandisulfonate, Ester von sulfonierter Bernsteinsäure, Türkischrotöl und Alkalisalze von Schwefelsäureestern der Fettalkohole, z.
B. Natrium- laurylsulfat oder Natriumcetylsulfat, Sulfitcellulose- ablauge bzw. deren Alkalrsalze, Seifen oder Alkalisulfate von Monoglyzeriden von Fettsäuren.
Beispiele bekann ter und besonders geeigneter nichtionogener Dispergier- mittel sind Anlagerungsprodukte von etwa 3-40 Mol Äthylenoxyd an Alkylphenole, Fettalkohole oder Fett amine und deren neutrale Schwefelsäureester.
Beim Klotzen und Bedrucken wird man die üblichen. Verdickungsmittel verwenden, z. B. modifizierte oder nichtmodifizierte natürliche Produkte, beispielsweise Alginate, Britischgummi, Gummi arabicum, Kristall gummi, Johannisbrotkernmehl, Tragant, Carboxymethyl- cellulose, Hydroxyäthylcellulose, Stärke oder synthe tische Produkte,
beispielsweise Polyacrylamide oder Polyvinylalkohole.
Die erhaltenen Färbungen sind ausserordentlich echt, z. B. hervorragend thermofixier-, sublimier-, plissier-, rauchgas-, überfärbe-, trockenreinigungs-, chlor- und nassecht, z. B. wasser-, wasch- und schweissecht. Ätz- barkeit und Reserve von natürlichen Fasern, insbeson dere von Wolle und Baumwolle, sind gut. Hervorragend ist die Lichtechtheit, selbst in hellen Tönen, so dass die neuen Farbstoffe auch als Modetöne sehr geeignet sind.
Die Farbstoffe sind bei Temperaturen bis zu mindestens 220 C und besonders bei 80 bis 140 C verkoch- und reduktionsbeständig.
Diese Beständigkeit wird weder durch das Flotten verhältnis noch durch die Gegenwart von Färbebe schleunigern ungünstig beeinflusst.
Die in den Beispielen genannten Teile sind Ge wichtsteile, und die Temperaturen sind in Celsiusgraden angegeben.
<I>Beispiel 1</I> Zu 15.0 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60-70 langsam unter Rühren 6,9 Teile feinteiliges Natriumnitrit gegeben. Man rührt weitere 10 Minuten bei 60 , kühlt auf 0 ab und fügt bei 0 20,7 Teile 1-Amino-2,5-dichlor-4-nitro-benzol zu.
Man rührt 2 Stunden und giesst die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung zu einem kalten Gemisch aus 24,2 Teilen 1 N,N-Di- äthylamino-3-methyl-sulfonyl amino-benzol, 20 Teilen konzentrierter Salzsäure, 100 Teilen Eis und 10 Teilen Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem, ge gebenenfalls gepuffertem Medium bei 0 zu Ende ge führt. Man filtriert den erhaltenen Farbstoff ab, wäscht ihn säurefrei und trocknet ihn.
Nach einmaligem Um kristallisieren aus einem Gemisch aus 1 Teil Aceton und 1 Teil Dioxan schmilzt er bei 208 . Synthetische Fasern werden in brillanten., roten Tönen mit ausge zeichneten Echtheiten gefärbt.
<I>Beispiel 2</I> Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure fügt man bei 670 in kleinen Portionen 6,9 Teile fein- teiliges Natriumnitrit, rührt so lange, bis Lösung ein tritt, kühlt auf 15 ab und gibt 100 Teile eines Ge misches aus 85 Teilen Eisessig und 15 Teilen Propion- säure und anschliessend 14,3 Teile 1-Amino-2,5-dicyan Benzol zu.
Man rührt 2 Stunden und giesst die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung zu einem kalten Gemisch aus 24,2 Teilen 1-N,N- Däthylamino - 3 - methylsulfonyl-amino- benzol, 20 Teilen konzentrierter Salzsäure, 150 Teilen Eis und 10 Teilen Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem Medium zu Ende geführt. Der ausge fallene Farbstoff wird abgesaugt, säurefrei gewaschen und getrocknet. Er kann aus Alkohol/Dimethylformamid umkristallisiert werden und schmilzt bei 227 . Er färbt synthetische Fasern in brillanten roten Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.
<I>Beispiel 3</I> Zu 150 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60-70 langsam unter Rühren 6,9 Teile Natrium nitrit gegeben. Darauf rührt man noch 10 Minuten und gibt bei 60 20,5 Teile 1-Amino-2-chlor-5-methylsulfo- nyl-benzol dazu. Man rührt 1 Stunde bei 60 und kühlt dann auf 0 ab.
Die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung giesst man zu einem kalten Gemisch aus 24 Teilen 1-Chlor-acetyl@amino-3-N,N-diäthyl-amino-benzol, 100 Teilen Eisessig, 200 Teilen Eis und 10 Teilen Amino- sulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem, gegebenen falls gepuffertem Medium zu Ende geführt. Der erhal tene Farbstoff wird abgesaugt, mit Wasser säurefrei ge- waschen und getrocknet und kann aus einem Gemisch aus 9 Teilen Alkohol und 7 Teilen Aceton umkristalli- siert werden.
Er schmilzt bei 154-155 und färbt syn thetische Fasern in brillanten orangen Tönen mit aus gezeichneten Echtheiten.
<I>Beispiel 4</I> Zu 120 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60-70 langsam unter Rühren 6,9 Teile feinteiliges Natriumnitrit gegeben. Man rührt weitere 10 Minuten bei 60 , kühlt auf 0 ab und fügt bei 0 20,9 Teile Amino-terephthalsäure-dimethylester zu.
Man rührt 3 Stunden und giesst die erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlösung zu einem Gemisch aus 23,6 Teilen 1-Äthoxy-carbonyl- amino-3 N,N-diäthyl-amino-benzol, 100 Teilen Eisessig, 150 Teilen Eis und 10 Teilen. Aminosulfonsäure. Die Kupplung wird in saurem, gegebenenfalls gepuffertem Medium zu Ende geführt. Der ausgefallene Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, säurefrei gewaschen,
getrocknet und aus Alkohol umkristallisiert. Der reine Farbstoff schmilzt bei 105 und färbt synthetische Fasern in gelbstichig orangen Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.
<I>Beispiel 5</I> Zu 150 Teilen konzentrierter Schwefelsäure werden bei 60-70 langsam unter Rühren 6,9 Teile Natrium nitrit gegeben. Dann kühlt man auf 0 ab und fügt bei 0-5 20,9 Teile Amino-terephthalsäure-dimethylester zu. Man rührt 2 Stunden und giesst die erhaltene Diazo- niumsalzlösung auf 700 Teile Eis und 7 Teile Amino- sulfonsäure. Hierzu giesst man unmittelbar danach eine Lösung von 20,6 Teilen 1 Acetylamino-3 N,
N-diäthyl amino-benzol in 100 Teilen Eisessig und stumpft mit Natriumacetat ab. Die Kupplung ist rasch beendet. Der ausgefallene Farbstoff wird abfiltriert, gewaschen und getrocknet. Der reine Farbstoff schmilzt bei 115-116 . Er färbt synthetische Fasern in brillanten orangen Tönen mit sehr guten Echtheiten.
Die in der folgenden Tabelle angegebenen Farb stoffe werden nach dem Verfahren des Beispiels 1 aus einem diazotierten Amin der Formel (1I) und einer Ver bindung der Formel (III) hergestellt.

Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Herstellung von Monoazofarbstoffen der Formel EMI0004.0007 worin R1 und R2 ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom, eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe, einen organischen:Carbonyl-, Sulfonyl , Carbonylamino- oder Sulfonylaminorest oder eine Carbonsäureester-, Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppe, R3 ein Halogenatom, eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe, einen organischen Carbonyl-, Sulfo- nyl-, Carbonylamino- oder Sulfonylaminorest oder eine Carbonsäureester-,Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppe, R4 eine Alkylgruppe, R5 und RG gegebenenfalls substituierte Kohlenwasser stoffreste, R7 ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom oder eine Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe und Y eine -CO-, -COO- oder -S02-Gruppe bedeuten und alle Alkyl- und Amidgruppen substituiert sein können,dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man ein Amin der Formel EMI0005.0003 diazotiert und mit einer Verbindung der Formel EMI0005.0005 kuppelt. UNTERANSPRUCH Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man Farbstoffe der Formel (I) herstellt, worin R1 ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom oder eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl=, Alkoxy-, Alkylsulfonyl-, Carbon- säureester-,Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäure- amidgruppe, R2 ein Wasserstoffatom oder eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- sulfonyl-, Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamid- gruppe, R3 ein Halogenatom, eine Cyan-, Nitro-, Alkyl- oder Alkoxygruppe, einen organischen Carbonyl-,Sulfo- nyl-, Carbonylamino- oder Sulfonylaminorest oder eine Carbonsäureester-, Carbonsäureamid- oder Sulfonsäureamidgruppe, R.4 eine Alkylgruppe, R5 und R6 gegebenenfalls substituierte Kohlenwasser stoffreste, R7 ein Wasserstoff- oder Halogenatom oder eine Allcyl- oder Alkoxygruppe und Y eine -CO-,-C00- oder -S02-Gruppe bedeuten.
