Description

Extraction device for silos, in particular fermentation feed silos
As is well known, good forage quality can only be achieved if the protective gas atmosphere created by the fermentation gases in a silo is maintained, i.e. if the fermentation gases are prevented from flowing away and oxygen ingress, which would result in harmful further fermentation, is avoided. Even if the silo is hermetically sealed and provided with a pressure compensation device, the protective gas atmosphere cannot be maintained until now, because the removal of the material is always connected with an outflow of the fermentation gases or an air inlet into the silo.

So-called bottom removal devices are known which consist of an arm which is arranged just above the silo base and revolves around the axis of the cylindrical or frustoconical silo and carries a rotating milling chain. The material processed from the forage stick by the milling chain is either transported away directly downwards through a floor opening or sideways via a radial floor channel with a conveyor device. The lower or side removal opening is sealed as gas-tight as possible, but must be opened during removal so that the fermentation gases, which are heavier than air, can escape, especially since, as tests have clearly shown, the feed stock, as previously assumed, usually not as Poetry works.

If a vacuum has formed in the silo due to insufficient effect of the pressure equalization device, which can happen, for example, if after a strong daytime warming with gas escaping through a pressure relief valve, air is also sucked in when the removal opening is opened.

The known bottom removal devices, however, also have the disadvantage that the entire weight of the feed stick is loaded on the milling arm to be moved, so that a great deal of force is required to drive it and its parts are exposed to great wear and tear and the risk of clogging. If the material is strongly pressed, it can even happen that the milling arm or the milling chain can no longer be moved at all.

There are also known, so-called top removal devices that work above the feed stock, which consist of a conveyor or milling worm, which is to a certain extent resting on the crop stock, also moves in a circle around the axis of the cylindrical silo and is guided by means of support rollers on the silo wall small fan feeds it into a chute.

The main disadvantage here is that the silo has to be opened at the top during removal, so that oxygen can reach the surface of the crop and that the fan even sucks the protective gas formed out of the feed stock and causes unfavorable gas and air eddies. In addition, both removal devices require a circular cross-section of the silo, although a square silo construction would possibly be cheaper.

Accordingly, the invention is based on the object of creating a removal device for silos, in particular fermentation feed silos, which do not have these deficiencies, which require comparatively little effort, whose parts are not exposed to increased wear and the risk of inadmissible air ingress into the silo or the gas leakage from the silo no longer occurs during removal.

The invention is characterized in that the device consists of a horizontal or inclined support grate for the silo goods, move underneath the support grate and scraping and cutting tools that reach through the grate gaps, a horizontal screw conveyor supplied by them and a downstream conveyor device that carries the goods up. The silo material does not rest on the moving parts of the removal device, but on the support grate, so that the scraping and cutting tools are completely relieved of the weight of the material and only that force is necessary for their movement that is necessary to scrape through the grate gaps grasping tools in the property is required.

The material falls in relatively fine particles through the grate gaps, is picked up by the screw conveyor and carried up by the downstream conveyor device and only thrown off at a considerable height. This has the advantage that no shielding gas escapes during removal because the shielding gas is heavier than air and therefore cannot rise to the material outlet. There is also no risk of air admission, because the accumulated amount of feed or other amount of material in the screw and in the conveying device results in a sufficient seal. There is little wear and tear because the scraping and cutting tools only engage in the silo material held by the support grate from below, but are not enclosed by it under pressure. For the same reason, there is no need to fear clogging even if the material is strongly compressed.

The scratching and cutting tools can sit on tool rails or a rotating roller, which tool rails or roller can or can be moved parallel to the grate bars of the support grate by means of a chain hoist, with the tools in the area of the returning chain run feeding the goods to the screw conveyor that it preferably pressed through a pipe to the high conveyor. As a result, a simple and operationally reliable construction can be achieved, with the material being processed particularly well when the tools are arranged on the rotating roller. When the screw conveyor presses the material through a pipe to the high conveyor, a dense plug of material can form in the pipe, which prevents any air or gas circulation.

In order to be able to hermetically design the lower part of the silo in which the extraction device is built, the exit points of the drive shafts of the extraction device can be sealed gas-tight by means of an oil filling provided between seals.

The high conveyor can consist of a screw conveyor arranged in a vertical housing connected to the container in a gas-tight manner or an elevator equipped with conveyor forks and stripping rakes, whereby the outlet nozzle of the housing can be provided with a brake flap and a hydraulically or mechanically actuated end cover, so that in the The highest possible gas tightness can be achieved in the area of the elevator.

In the drawing, the subject of the invention is shown, for example, namely show:
1 and 2 the lower part of a fermentation feed silo in section along the lines I-I of FIG. 2 and II-II of FIG. 1,
3 shows an embodiment with two silos on a common substructure and
FIG. 4 shows a variant with an inclined support grid, each in a representation that corresponds to FIG.

The actual silo container 2 is placed gas-tight on a substructure 1 made of concrete. In the substructure 1, the removal device is arranged, which consists of a support grate 3, scraping and cutting tools 4 moved below the support grate and reaching through the grate gaps, a screw conveyor 5 supplied by them and a downstream conveyor 6 that carries the material up. The scratching and cutting tools 4 sit on tool rails 7, which slide on lateral guides and are moved by three endless chains 8. The main shaft 9 is on the one hand via a chain drive
10, the screw conveyor 5 and, on the other hand, the sprocket shaft 12 for the endless chains 8 via a coupling and a transmission 11.

At the same time, the high conveyor, which consists of an elevator 6 equipped with conveyor forks and stripping rakes and revolving in a housing 13 connected to the substructure 1 in a gas-tight manner, is drive-connected to the screw conveyor 5. The exit point 14 of the main shaft 9 is sealed gas-tight by means of an oil filling provided between seals. The outlet connection, not shown, of the elevator housing 13 is provided with a brake flap and a hydraulically or mechanically actuated end cover, the elevator extending up to the upper silo end.

The fermentation feed or the like stored on the support grid 3. is loosened and processed by the tools 4 and falls downward, where it is transferred to the screw conveyor 5 by the tools in the area of the returning chain strand. This screw conveyor 5 presses the silo material through a pipe 15 to the high conveyor or elevator 6. This takes over the material and throws it through the outlet nozzle.

According to FIG. 3, two silo containers 2, 2a are arranged on a common silo substructure la made from sheet steel. so that there is a large capacity. A common support grid 3 is provided for both silo containers 2, 2a, under which again endless chains 8 with tool rails 7 run around, on which the tools 4 sit. The material is fed by means of a screw conveyor 5 and the elevated conveyor 6.

4 shows a modified design in which the substructure 1b has an inclined floor and the removal device has a correspondingly inclined support grid 3. The scratching and cutting tools 4 are in this case attached to a rotating roller 16, which is pulled by an endless chain hoist 8a parallel to the support grate 3a and back. The rotating roller 16 with the tools 4, to a certain extent, mills the fodder or the like between the grate bars from the crop stock, after which it is fed to the screw conveyor 5 via the inclined silo bottom.

It goes without saying that the removal device according to the invention does not require a cylindrical or frustoconical type of silo, but on the contrary is even better suited for square silos. If the removal device is assigned to two or more silos with a common substructure, which reduces the construction effort and is cost-saving, then the further advantage is achieved that when the silos are filled with different feed, a mixture of the individual fodder inevitably occurs during removal Silos resulting in good.
