Method for winding layer coils on a winding machine and device for carrying out the method The subject matter of the invention is a method for winding layer coils on a winding machine with a wire guide with rotating body for fastening wires to the connection nipples of the flanges of coil bodies.
In previous winding methods for electrical coils, it was common practice to fix the wire ends on the coil flanges by soldering, clamping or looping around mushroom-shaped connection nipples. A considerable amount of manual labor was expended. Today's automatic winding machines also require increased automation for fixing the wire ends to the connection nipples of the reel flanges. The present invention now allows this condition to be largely met.
According to the invention, the winding wire is guided to the coil through a wire guide bore with wire guide tubes made eccentrically to its axis in the rotating body and wrapped around the connection nipple at the end of the winding by rotating the rotating body several times and the resulting circular movement of the bore fixed.
An embodiment of the invention is explained with reference to the drawing.
The winding wire 1 runs from a wire tension compensation element, not described in detail, over a pulley 2 attached to the wire guide according to FIG. 1, which is fastened to an arm 3 by means of the screw 4 and is mounted on ball bearings. From this roller 2 the wire passes into a rotating body 5 which has a bore 6 arranged eccentrically to its axis. The rotating body 5 is mounted on a main arm 7 so as to be easily rotatable. It is driven by means of a wheel 8 that is frictionally or non-positively linked to it. The wheel 8, like the rotating body 5, is supported on the main arm 7.
In addition, the wheel 8 has a stop pin 9 which limits the angular movement of this wheel, adjustable by means of the stop screw 10 secured with a counter nut, which is also attached to the main arm 7 by means of a fastening strap 11. The whole mechanism described so far sits on the clamping piece 12, which in turn is fastened by a clamping screw 13 on a wire guide arm of a winding machine, which is not described in detail.
The function of the device described is as follows: The wire 1 guided via the deflection roller 2 through the eccentric bore 6 of the rotating body 5 to the reel to be wound is moved back and forth between the flanges of a reel by the feed movement controlled by the winding machine and corresponding to the wire diameter emotional. As a result, the winding of the bobbin, which is driven to rotate by the winding machine, takes place in a previously known manner.
After winding is complete, the wire guide is returned to the end position on the reel flange by the winding machine. By rotating the wheel 8 by means of a drive (motor, rack, etc.) not described in detail, the rotating body 5 is set in multiple rotations. 2 explains the mode of operation of the rotating body 5, which is described below. The eccentric rotating body bore 6 is extended downward through the wire guide tube 14. This tube is fixed in its position with respect to the flange of the coil 15 to be wound by means of the stop pin 9 mentioned earlier.
During winding (at the moment of switching) and after winding is complete, the wire guide tube 14 is located above the end of the layer within the flange of the coil 15 and the axis of the rotating body 5 is above the connection nipple 16 of the coil flange. After completion of the winding, the rotating part 5 and with it the wire guide tube 14 are set in rotation by the wheel 8.
The wire 1 lies down several times in accordance with the angular movement of the wheel 8 and the transmission ratio selected between it and the rotating body 5.

ratio one or more times around the nipple 16 of the spool flange. As a result, the end of the wire 1 is fixed in its position relative to the coil. The device also allows the beginning of the coil to be attached to the corresponding connection nipple before winding. The number of turns wrapped around the connection nipple is preselected by a further device and controlled automatically.
The wire guide can also be designed as a multiple wire guide, whereby the transition of the wire ends of the previous coil set attached to the connection nipples to the connection nipples for the wire beginnings of the next coil set and the subsequent separation of the wire ends of the previous coil set from the wire ends of the next coil set by an unspecified one Separating device and an electrical control takes place automatically.
Furthermore, the wire guide can also be used for connection nipples whose axis, in contrast to the drawing, is parallel to the spool axis. In this case, the wire guide makes a corresponding pivoting movement of 90 about the connecting flange of the spool before the beginning of wrapping around the nipple.
