Description

Fig.3 zeigt die Wandelemente 8 im Querschnitt.

Secondary vault in a tunnel The invention relates to a secondary vault in a tunnel with prefabricated vaulted ceiling elements lined up in a longitudinal direction.

In many cases, for example for ventilation purposes in car tunnels, it is necessary to provide a secondary vault in a tunnel. This secondary vault previously had to be made in the form of a solid concrete vault. In order to produce such a vault, strong formwork has hitherto been required, and the concrete had to be introduced between this formwork and the vault of the tunnel.

Since the space between the tunnel vault and the secondary vault had to be kept small in order to save money, the installation of the on-site concrete was difficult and difficult and the production of the secondary vault was laborious and expensive.

To remedy this, it is already known to insert prefabricated upwardly curved components between two opposing points of the tunnel vault and to connect the free ends of the components to the tunnel vault by connecting elements in a pressure-tight manner such that essentially only compressive forces act on the connecting elements.

With this secondary vault it was possible to prefabricate the ceiling part of the secondary vault, but the design of the connecting elements and their attachment to the tunnel vault was complicated and expensive. In addition, the side walls had to be made from in-situ concrete using complicated formwork and laborious concrete placement.

Another problem with tunnel construction is that the sealing of the concrete vault was difficult and therefore costly in the case of permeable rock, because a protective layer had to be applied to the concreted tunnel vault.

which then had to be covered with an approximately 20 cm thick layer of concrete.

The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the above disadvantages and to create a secondary vault that can be completely prefabricated industrially, is cheap and can be easily erected on the spot.

The secondary vault according to the invention in a tunnel with prefabricated, vaulted ceiling elements lined up in a longitudinal direction is characterized in that it has prefabricated wall elements lined up in a longitudinal direction and placed on the tunnel bottom, which vaults in their upper area by means of support elements against the tunnel and on which the vaulted ceiling elements rest.

An embodiment of the secondary vault according to the invention and further essential features are explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, in which: FIG. 1 shows a tunnel in cross section; FIG. 2 shows the tunnel according to FIG. 1 in longitudinal section; FIG. 3 shows the tunnel according to FIG. 2 in section along the line III-III.

The tunnel vault is through the covering 1, which forms the tunnel sole, with lateral webs 2 and outwards. subsequent moats 3 and the actual vault part 4 formed.

In Fig. 1 the tunnel is shown in cross section, the left half showing an embodiment of the tunnel in non-stable rock and the right half showing an embodiment in stable rock. In the left-hand embodiment, the bare rock 5 is lined with a concrete layer 6 to begin with.

The inner side of the tunnel forms the secondary vault, which in the present case consists of one-piece ceiling elements 7 strung together in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel and wall elements 8 that are also lined up in the longitudinal direction of the tunnel, all of which are designed as prefabricated components.

The side wall elements 8 are designed in the present case shell-shaped and have a substantially straight lower part and a curved th upper part. The wall elements 8 are placed on the sole 1, possibly using a leveling layer 9, and are held in their upper half, preferably at their upper end, by a support element 10.

The support element 10 can be anchored in the rock 5 or in the concrete layer 6 of the tunnel vault. It is also possible to fix the support elements directly on the wall element and let them rest against the tunnel vault. The length of the support element can expediently be varied. The arrangement of the wall elements 8 and the support 10 is such that essentially only compressive forces act on the supports.

The curved ceiling element 7 rests on the wall elements. The ceiling element 7 and wall element 8 are expediently designed in such a way that essentially only normal forces are effective at their support points 11.

At the support points between the ceiling elements and the wall elements, leveling and / or binding agents 12, preferably mortar, are expediently provided, which on the one hand enable positional leveling and on the other hand, mutual fastening.

The ceiling elements 7 and the wall elements 8 are preferably interlocked at their support point 11. In the present example, this is achieved with the aid of a solidified intermediate layer 12, preferably made of mortar,

which has penetrated into recesses 13 and 14 both in the abutment surface of the ceiling elements 7 and in the abutment surface of the wall elements 8 and solidified.

The ceiling elements 7 are provided at the support point with a shoulder 15 that covers the support point and serves to keep water that escapes from the rock onto the secondary vault away from the support point.

From the longitudinal section of the tunnel in Fig. 2 it can be seen that each ceiling element 7 has on one side a rib 16 facing the tunnel vault and on the other side a shoulder 17 also facing the tunnel vault, the shoulder 17 being designed so that it the rib 16 of the neighboring ceiling elements covered. The peripheral surface 19 of the rib is preferably inclined towards the interior of the ceiling element.

Through this Ausgestal device the penetration of water into the butt joints 19 between two ceiling elements 7 is prevented. In addition, the butt joints are sealed by means of a seal 20, for example made of Thiokol. Thiocols are liquid, dispersed or solid polymers that are formed by chemical reactions from dichlorodiethyl formal and alkali polysulphides.

3 shows the wall elements 8 in cross section. In the present case, the wall elements each have ribs 21 directed towards the tunnel vault on their outer longitudinal edges. The butt joints 22 of adjacent wall elements are also provided with a seal 23, which expediently corresponds to that of the ceiling elements. In contrast to the example shown, the.

Wandele elements each have a rib on one side and an approach covering the rib of the adjacent wall element on the other side, analogous to the design of the ceiling elements.

The wall 8 and ceiling elements 7 expediently have ribs running in the longitudinal direction. In the present example, these ribs are formed by the ribs 16, 21 and lugs 17 provided on the longitudinal edges of the elements. But it is also possible to provide further ribs between the longitudinal edges of the elements. Although the ribs can in principle also be trimmed against the interior of the tunnel, they are preferably arranged trimmed against the vault.

In contrast to the one-piece ceiling element shown, this can also be in two or more parts and then put together in the form of an articulated arch.

The wall and ceiling elements can be made of various materials, but they are preferably made as prefabricated concrete parts.

The secondary vault according to the invention enabled a significant streamlining of tunnel construction. The individual wall and ceiling elements can easily be manufactured on a large scale in concrete works or in field factories.

Their assembly is extremely easy. First the support elements can be attached to the tunnel. The wall elements are then placed on a leveling layer on the tunnel floor, if necessary, and either attached directly to the support elements or supported against them.

The ceiling element is then pushed in over the wall elements, for example by means of a forklift, and set down on the wall elements, with a leveling and / or binding agent layer being provided on the support surfaces of the wall elements before the ceiling element is set down.

Finally, the butt joints are sealed with sealing compound.

Because of the economically producible and assemblable secondary arch, the cumbersome and expensive sealing precautions previously required on tunnel arches are superfluous and can be replaced by the secondary arch according to the invention.

The secondary vault according to the invention not only offers great advantages from a technical point of view, but also gives a tunnel a pleasing appearance from an architectural point of view.
