  Als Matratzenschutz zu verwendende Unterlage
Die Erfindung betrifft eine als Matratzenschutz zu verwendende Unterlage.



   Es ist bekannt zum Schutze von Matratzen wasserundurchlässige Einlagen aus Gummi oder Kunststoff zu verwenden. Solche Einlage haben aber den Nachteil, dass sie sich beim Gebrauch leicht verschieben, wodurch die beabsichtigte Wirkung gegebenenfalls verloren geht, oder dass sich zufolge teilweiser Verlagerungen Unebenheiten bilden, die ein längeres Liegen auf der Einlage unangenehm gestalten können.



   Bei der erfindungsgemässen Unterlage sollen diese Nachteile vermieden werden. Diese Unterlage unterscheidet sich von den bekannten Mitteln durch eine wasserundurchlässige Materialbahn, deren Enden dazu bestimmt sind, um die Matratze geschlagen zu werden, und durch eine Tasche mit einer herausnehmbaren Einlage aus einem wasseraufnahmefähigen elastischen Material, wobei der die Einlage überdeckende Teil der Tasche mit Löchern versehen ist.



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes schematisch dargestellt. Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Unterlage, und
Fig. 2 einen Schnitt nach der Linie 2-2 in Fig. 1.



   Die Unterlage ist aus einer Materialbahn 11 aus einem wasserundurchlässigen Material, z.B. aus synthetischem, mit einem Gewebe verbundenen Gummi oder einem anderen geeigneten Kunststoff gebildet. Auf der Bahn 11 ist ein vorzugsweise aus dem gleichen Material gebildeter   Materialstreifen    12 zur Bildung einer Tasche angeordnet, derart, dass in der Längsrichtung der Materialbahn 11 gesehen, zu beiden Seiten der Tasche ein von der letzteren nicht erfasster freier Streifen vorhanden ist.



  Ebenfalls in der Längsrichtung der Materialbahn 11 gesehen, befindet sich an der letzteren ein seitlich abstehender Lappen 13, über welchem die Tasche offen ist, so dass sich der Lappen 13 in die Tasche einschlagen lässt, wie Fig. 2 zeigt.



   Die Tasche dient zur Aufnahme einer Einlage 14 aus einem wasseraufnehmenden, saugfähigen Material, z.B. aus einem synthetischen elastischen Schwammgummi, welches Material leicht zu reinigen ist. Die Einlage 14 kann durch die seitliche Öffnung leicht in die Tasche eingeschoben und durch Einschlagen des Lappens festgestellt werden, indem der in Fig. 1 freiliegende Randstreifen über die Einlage 14 und unter den Streifen 12 zu liegen kommt, wie in Fig. 2 gezeigt ist. Zur Ermöglichung der Wasseraufnahme durch die Einlage ist der Streifen 12 mit Löchern 15 versehen.



   Zum Gebrauch wird die Unterlage auf die zu schützende Matratze gelegt und ihre Randstreifen in gleicher Weise wie ein Leintuch um das Kopf- und das Fussende der Matratze geschlagen, wodurch die Unterlage fixiert wird. Die Abmessungen der Materialbahn 11 können auch so gewählt sein, dass sich die Unterlage quer zum auf der Matratze liegenden Leintuch auf dieses letztere auflegen lässt und die über die Tasche vorstehenden Teile der Materialbahn sich um die Längsseiten der Matratze schlagen lassen.



   Die Unterlage bietet einen sicheren Schutz gegen Bettnässen usw., indem sie wasserundurchlässig ist und auftretendes Wasser durch die Löcher 15 abfliessen kann, das von der Einlage 14 aufgenommen wird. Die Unterlage kältet nicht und gewährleistet ausserdem ein weiches Liegen. Ihre Teile lassen sich zudem kurzfristig und leicht reinigen und ebenfalls in kürzester Zeit für den Wiedergebrauch trocknen, da das Material kein Wasser aufnimmt.  



   PATENTANSPRUCH
Als Matratzen schutz zu verwendende Unterlage, gekennzeichnet durch eine wasserundurchlässige Materialbahn, deren Enden dazu bestimmt sind, um die Matratze geschlagen zu werden und durch eine Tasche mit einer herausnehmbaren Einlage aus einem wasseraufnahmefähigen elastischen Material, wobei der die Einlage überdeckende Teil der Tasche mit Löchern versehen ist.

   It is known to use waterproof inserts made of rubber or plastic to protect mattresses. Such inlays have the disadvantage, however, that they shift easily during use, whereby the intended effect may be lost, or that, as a result of partial displacements, unevenness forms which can make lying on the inlay for a long time uncomfortable.



   These disadvantages are to be avoided with the support according to the invention. This pad differs from the known means by a water-impermeable material web, the ends of which are intended to be wrapped around the mattress, and by a pocket with a removable insert made of a water-absorbent elastic material, the part of the pocket covering the insert with holes is provided.



   An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. It shows:

   The base is made of a web 11 of a water-impermeable material, e.g. formed from synthetic rubber bonded with a fabric or other suitable plastic. A material strip 12, preferably formed from the same material, is arranged on the web 11 to form a pocket, in such a way that, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the material web 11, there is a free strip on both sides of the pocket which is not covered by the latter.



  Also seen in the longitudinal direction of the material web 11, there is a laterally protruding tab 13 on the latter, over which the pocket is open, so that the tab 13 can be folded into the pocket, as FIG. 2 shows.



   The pocket serves to receive an insert 14 made of a water-absorbing, absorbent material, e.g. made of a synthetic elastic sponge rubber, which material is easy to clean. The insert 14 can easily be pushed into the pocket through the side opening and can be fixed by folding in the flap, in that the edge strip exposed in FIG. 1 comes to lie over the insert 14 and under the strip 12, as shown in FIG. The strip 12 is provided with holes 15 to enable water to be absorbed by the insert.



   For use, the pad is placed on the mattress to be protected and its edge strips are wrapped around the head and foot of the mattress in the same way as a sheet, whereby the pad is fixed. The dimensions of the material web 11 can also be chosen so that the base can be placed across the sheet lying on the mattress on the latter and the parts of the material web protruding over the pocket can be wrapped around the long sides of the mattress.



   The pad offers reliable protection against bed wetting, etc., in that it is impermeable to water and any water that occurs can flow off through the holes 15 and is absorbed by the insert 14. The mat does not get cold and also ensures that you lie softly.
