Description

Winding machine with reciprocating thread guide
The invention relates to a winding machine with a reciprocating thread guide and a variable thread guide gear connected between the winding drive and thread guide drive for changing the speed ratio between the delivery bobbin and thread guide.

Such thread guide gears have been known for decades and have the task of making it possible to change the pitch angle of the threads during the winding process.

A considerable disadvantage of the winding machines with reciprocating thread guides is that the thread guide speed is limited to a certain maximum value, taking into account the inertia forces occurring at the reversal points of the movement. If the thread guide speed exceeds this maximum limit, the machine will be destroyed within a short time. In the known winding machines of this type, the set ratio between winding speed and thread guide speed is retained when the winding speed changes.

In order not to exceed the maximum permissible yarn guide speed at high winding speeds, the maximum winding speed was limited accordingly. However, this had the consequence that only a correspondingly low winding speed was available even with smaller crossing angles, although in this case higher winding speeds would have been permissible with regard to the thread guide speed. In this case, however, this meant poor utilization of the machine.

The object of the invention was to eliminate the disadvantages of known winding machines described above. This is achieved according to the invention in that the transmission ratio of the thread guide gear can be changed automatically as a function of the winding speed in such a way that when the winding speed is increased, the thread guide speed is limited to a predetermined maximum value.

This makes it possible to work at high winding speeds in the area of smaller angles of curvature, without an increase in the angle of intersection, i.e. H. thus, when the fader guide speed is increased, this thread guide speed assumes impermissibly high values.

The winding speed which is decisive for changing the transmission ratio of the thread guide gear can be determined in a wide variety of known ways, for example by means of a tachometer, and the measured value can be used to adjust the transmission ratio accordingly. A particularly simple and advantageous embodiment, however, results when the adjusting device for changing the winding speed is connected to an adjusting element in the thread guide gear.

In this way, each time the adjustment device for changing the bobbin speed is actuated, the adjustment element for the thread guide speed is already influenced in such a way that the maximum permissible value of the thread guide speed cannot be exceeded.

The invention will be explained in more detail on the basis of the exemplary embodiment shown schematically in the figure for the drive of a specialist machine.

In a frame 1, indicated only by dash-dotted lines, the package 2 is mounted pivotably about the axis 3 in a manner known per se. The take-up bobbin 2 is driven by the drive roller 4. For laying the thread F, a is used; and the forward thread guide 5, which in the present case is moved by the grooved drum 6 on the slide rail 7. The speed of the reciprocating thread guide 5 is dependent on the speed of the grooved drum 6.

The winding machine is driven in a manner known per se by a motor 8 which, via a variable gear 9, sets the shaft 10 in revolutions. The variable transmission 9 consists of the driving wheel 9a arranged on the motor axis, the wedge-shaped transmission means 9b, such as a V-belt, chain or the like, and the driven wheel 9c. The wheel 9a consists in a known manner of two wedge disks, one of which can be displaced against the other under the action of a spring 9d under the influence of the tension of the transmission means 9b.

From the shaft 10, the drive roller 4 is driven via a gear 11 and the grooved drum 6 is driven via a variable gear 12, which is constructed like the variable gear 9.

To change the winding speed, which is proportional to the speed of rotation of the shaft 10, the motor 8 was pivotably mounted on a shaft 23 in a known manner. The motor 8 is suspended from a chain 14 which in turn is fastened to a wheel 15 which can be barked by the crank 16 by means of the worm drive 27, 28. If the wheel 15 is rotated counterclockwise, the chain 14 becomes longer, the motor 8 pivots under the action of gravity around the shaft 23 in the counterclockwise direction.

As a result, the transmission means 9b of the variable transmission 9 adjusts one wedge disk of the driving wheel 9a against the force of the spring 9d and reaches a smaller diameter of the driving wheel 9a, so that the tracking speed is reduced.

As already mentioned, a ver changeable gear 12 is connected between the drive of the bobbin 2 and the drive of the thread guide 5, by means of which the crossing angle of the threads running up on the bobbin 2 can be determined. The adjustment of the gear 12 takes place similarly to the adjustment of the gear 9 in a likewise known manner in that the transmission means is deflected more or less by means of a roller 13 and is guided to a smaller or larger diameter of the driving wheel. This roller 13 is mounted pivotably about a fixed axis 16 by means of a handle 17 via a double lever 14, 15. An adjustment in the direction of the dash-dotted line denoted by l means an increase in the thread guide speed.

The handle 17 can be pivoted in front of a scale 18 and locked in any way, for example by means of a clamping screw 19. The angle of intersection of the threads running onto the bobbin 2 can then be read on the scale 18.

In order to prevent the maximum permissible speed of the thread guide 5 from being exceeded at the highest winding speed, the thread guide transmission 12 can be changed automatically as a function of the winding speed. This is achieved in the exemplary embodiment in that the adjusting device for changing the winding speed is connected to the adjusting member 17 of the thread guide gear. For that purpose there is one too! The lever arm 26 pivotable about the shaft 23 is connected to the motor 8.

If, for example, the winding speed is reduced, the motor 8 is also used to move the lever arm 28 from the direction of the strichpuiierl: s; Line pivoted in the direction of the dash-dotted line designated by. The lever arm 26 is connected to a rod 20 which is guided through a guide eye 21 attached to the lever arm 15 and has a limiting disk 22 at its upper end. This limiting disk 22, in conjunction with the guide eye 21, prevents the adjusting member 17 from being raised above a certain height.

On the other hand, this limiting disk 22 has the effect that, when the winding speed is increased, the adjusting element 17 is automatically adjusted in the sense of reducing the thread guide speed. This adjustment can take place against the frictional force applied by the screw 19, for example.

The embodiment shown in the figure serves only to explain the basic concept of the present invention. However, this basic idea can be used both in the most varied of winding machines and in the most varied of embodiments. For example, it should be pointed out that a variable-speed motor can also be used to change the winding speed, in which case the adjusting element for changing the motor speed can be connected to the adjusting element 17 of the thread guide gear 12.
