Mobile battery of sockets The present invention relates to a mobile battery of sockets, comprising at least three sockets arranged one after the other in an elongated box.
Batteries of this kind are already known. In these batteries, the height of the box in the direction of the axis of the sockets is determined during its manufacture and therefore cannot be adapted to the height of the sockets, respectively to the length of the current inlet cable.
The object of the present invention is to remedy this drawback and the battery which is the subject thereof is characterized in that the housing is made of two parts, each presenting a rectangular plate carrying glue rettes dimensioned in such a way that 'they fit into each other and fixed together, in that the plate carrying the sockets has recesses for the passage of the conductors and connection wires between the various sockets and the current inlet cable, and in this that the edges of the plates extend beyond the flanges to form a groove in which the current inlet cable can be wound.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the mobile battery of current sockets which is the subject of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a front view.
Fig. 2 is a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1. The battery of sockets shown in fig. 1 and 2 comprises three sockets 1 arranged one after the other in an elongated box made of two parts.
One of these parts carries the sockets 1 and consists of a rectangular plate 2 having flanges 3, 4 extending at right angles from the underside of the plate 2 to form a wall 5 (fig. 1 ;. L The other part comprises a plate 6 also having flanges, 7, 8, but the latter are shaped in such a way that they fit without play in the flanges 3, 4 to be fixed there together at 9, for example by welding. The flanges 3, 4 have recesses 10, 11 allowing the passage of the conductors - of which only the conductor 12 has been shown - and the connection wires between the sockets 1 and the current supply cable 13.
Said cable can be wound between the edges 14 of the plates 2 and 6. The latter protect it and, thanks to the roundings given to the flanges 3 and 4, it is neither bruised nor bent. The plates 2 and 6 are, moreover, drilled at 15 in their corners, in order to allow the fixing or the suspension of the battery in the chosen location.
Preferably, the housing is of hard polyethylene. The sockets 1 can all be the same or of different types. They can be four or three in number, for example four times two poles plus neutral and earth or four times three poles plus neutral and earth or finally three times three poles plus neutral and earth. Preferably, the power inlet cable is introduced between the first and second outlet with a three-tap battery and between the second and third outlet with a four-tap battery.
