  Procédé de formation d'emballages en forme de cloques, appareil pour la mise
 en oeuvre de ce procédé, emballage résultant de ce procédé
 Un emballage de produit en forme de cloques comprend une feuille de matière thermoplastique qui est for  mée    avec une partie en dépression qui contient un produit, et une feuille de couverture que   l'on    fait adhérer à la feuille thermoplastique tout autour de la dépression afin d'enfermer le produit.



   L'objet de la présente invention est un procédé de formation d'emballages en forme de cloques, c'est également un appareil pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé, c'est encore l'emballage résultant de ce procédé.



   Le procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce que   ron    utilise un rouleau formeur à axe horizontal et dont la surface comprend une cavité faisant matrice, en ce qu'on amène une feuille de matière thermoplastique sur la surface du rouleau, en ce qu'on applique une aspiration par le vide sur la cavité faisant matrice afin d'attirer une partie de la feuille dans ladite cavité en réalisant ainsi une dépression dans ladite feuille, en ce qu'on dépose un produit dans ladite partie en dépression qui se trouve dans ladite cavité, en ce qu'on fait adhérer une feuille de couverture sur ladite feuille thermoplastique tout autour de la partie en dépression afin d'enfermer le produit, et en ce qu'on enlève le produit à l'état enfermé de ladite cavité formant matrice,

   ledit rouleau effectuant un mouvement de rotation autour de son axe au moins pour enlever le produit à l'état enfermé de ladite cavité faisant matrice.



   Dans un mode de mise en oeuvre du procédé particulièrement avantageux on chauffe préalablement la matière thermoplastique, et, après que le produit a été déposé dans la partie en dépression, on lui fait subir un refroidissement tel que la matière qui forme cette partie en dépression se resserre sur le produit.



   L'appareil pour la mise en   oeuvre    du procédé selon l'invention est caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un rouleau formeur, au moins une cavité faisant matrice dans la surface de ce rouleau formeur, des moyens pour déposer une feuille thermoplastique sur ladite cavité faisant matrice, des moyens pour faire une aspiration par le vide sur cette cavité faisant matrice afin de réaliser une partie en dépression dans la feuille, des moyens pour déposer un produit dans ladite partie en dépression, des moyens pour faire adhérer une feuille de couverture sur ladite feuille thermoplastique tout autour de la partie en dépression de manière à enfermer le produit, et des moyens pour faire tourner ledit rouleau autour de son axe au moins lors de l'enlèvement du produit emballé hors de ladite cavité faisant matrice.



   Un mode de mise en oeuvre du procédé selon l'invention, de même que l'appareil servant à cette mise en   oeuvre,    est maintenant décrit en liaison avec le dessin annexé dans lequel:
 la fig. 1 est une vue en élévation d'une machine à former ayant un rouleau à cloque, qui montre en coupe le rouleau formeur de la machine, et
 la fig. 2 est une vue en élévation semblable à la fig. 1 qui montre en coupe la tubulure fixe d'aspiration destinée au rouleau formeur.



   Si l'on se réfère aux dessins, un rouleau formeur 4 travaille en liaison sur   l'un    des côtés avec un rouleau de préchauffage 3 qui fournit une matière thermoplastique en feuille I au rouleau formeur, et sur rautre côté avec un rouleau assurant le scellement S qui fournit la matière de couverture. Le rouleau formeur porte à sa surface en périphérie une série de cavités formant matrice 10, chacune de ces cavités ayant un conduit de mise en communication qui s'étend axialement 11, ce conduit s'étendant jusqu'à une extrémité du rouleau en vue d'une ultérieure mise en communication avec un système 9 fixe destiné à appliquer le vide lors de la rotation du rouleau formeur.

   Un dispositif d'alimentation de comprimé 6 est prévu entre les rouleaux formeurs et à sceller, de même  
 que sont prévus des rouleaux de tension 7 pour maintenir la tension sur les feuilles, et qu'est prévu aussi un dispositif à guillotine 8.



   Le rouleau de préchauffage est maintenu en fonc
 tionnement à une température suffisamment haute pour plastifier la feuille thermoplastique et le rouleau formeur est maintenu à une température suffisamment basse pour empêcher toute adhérence de la matière thermoplastique sur la surface de scellement, mais la température étant cependant maintenue suffisamment haute pour empêcher le dépolissement de la feuille pendant le formage. Le rouleau de scellement 5 est maintenu à une température suffisante pour réaliser un scellement sous pression à chaud de la feuille thermoplastique sur la feuille de couverture, qui peut être par exemple une feuille de métal.



   La rotation des rouleaux dans le sens des flèches provoque le tirage des feuilles à travers l'appareil. Pendant qu'une cavité formant matrice se déplace tout en s'engageant sur le rouleau de préchauffage elle est recouverte de la feuille thermoplastique et la rotation du rouleau formeur en se poursuivant met la cavité formant matrice en communication avec le système 9 d'application du vide, par l'intermédiaire de sa conduite   1 1    qui s'étend axialement. Ainsi la matière thermoplastique est attirée dans la cavité afin de former une partie rentrante dans la feuille thermoplastique, et ensuite, alors que la partie rentrante est encore sous l'action du vide, un comprimé y est déposé en provenance du dispositif d'alimentation 6.

   La cavité formant matrice continue sa course et cesse d'être en communication avec le système d'aspiration, et entre en contact avec la feuille de couverture qui est scellée à la feuille thermoplastique par suite de l'action l'un sur l'autre des rouleaux formeurs et à sceller. Après scellement, la partie emballée complète est extraite de la cavité formant matrice, lorsque le refroidissement commence de telle sorte que la matière de la partie rentrante se resserre sur le comprimé. La séparation des parties emballées l'une de l'autre est réalisée par le système à guillotine.



   Selon la disposition ci-dessus le produit est déposé dans la partie correspondante rentrante avant que la matière de la partie rentrante ne refroidisse, et les opérations de dépôt et de couverture sont réalisées presque simultanément à l'opération de formage de la partie rentrante.



   On a aussi découvert qu'en utilisant l'appareil ci-dessus avec une feuille de métal comme feuille de couverture, l'action de la pression entre le rouleau formeur et le rouleau de scellement amène la formation d'une ligne d'affaiblissement sur la partie de la feuille qui fait un angle droit tout le long de la périphérie de la partie en dépression. Ceci est utile afin de faciliter l'enlèvement éventuel du produit de l'emballage en appliquant une pression à travers la feuille de couverture. Ainsi, l'emballage par formation de cloque décrit ci-dessus peut avantageusement avoir une feuille de métal comme feuille de couverture, ce qui crée une ligne d'affaiblissement tout le long de la périphérie de la partie en dépression.



   Ce procédé a été décrit à titre d'exemple avec référence à l'emballage de comprimés, mais on doit comprendre qu'il est également très bien appliquable à I'emballage d'autres produits y compris de petites quantités de poudre au moyen d'un léger réarrangement de la position du rouleau formeur pendant le remplissage.

   Referring to the drawings, a forming roll 4 works in conjunction on one side with a preheating roll 3 which supplies a thermoplastic sheet material I to the forming roll, and on the other side with a sealing roll. S which provides the cover material. The forming roll carries on its surface at the periphery a series of die-forming cavities 10, each of these cavities having an axially extending communication duct 11, this duct extending to one end of the roll with a view to 'a further communication with a fixed system 9 intended to apply the vacuum during the rotation of the forming roll.

   The preheating roller is kept running

   It has also been found that by using the above apparatus with a metal foil as the covering foil, the action of the pressure between the forming roll and the sealing roll causes the formation of a weakening line on the cover. the part of the sheet which forms a right angle all the way around the periphery of the depressed part. This is useful in order to facilitate the eventual removal of the product from the packaging by applying pressure through the cover sheet. Thus, the blister package described above can advantageously have a metal foil as the cover foil, which creates a line of weakness all along the periphery of the depressed portion.



   This process has been described by way of example with reference to the packaging of tablets, but it should be understood that it is also very well applicable to the packaging of other products including small quantities of powder by means of. slight rearrangement of the shape roll position during filling.
