Description

  Der Nachteil der Garnbehandlung in voneinander  getrennten Verfahrensstufen mittels jeweils anderer  Maschinen oder Einrichtungen liegt darin, dass:  1. in jeder zur Behandlung benutzten Maschine  oder Einrichtung an dem     Garn    bzw. Faden, der jedes  mal ab- und aufgespult werden muss, Fadenbrüche  auftreten können, die zunächst durch Verknoten der  beiden Enden der Bruchstelle nur behelfsmässig besei  tigt werden und erst später (bei Kontrollieren des  Fadens) durch Entfernen     des        Knotens    und Verspleissen  der Fadenenden an der Stelle des Fadenbruches mit  einer gewissen Verringerung der     Reissfestigkeit    behoben  werden können;

    2. für die nacheinander an jeweils anderen Maschi nen und Einrichtungen durchgeführten Behandlungs- stufen ein bedeutender Aufwand an Personal, Kosten und Platzbedarf für Behandlungsanlagen, den Trans port des verarbeitenden Materials von Einrichtung zu Einrichtung und für Lagerraum und sonstige damit verbundene Umtriebe notwendig ist.

Device for producing yarns with high tensile strength, low extensibility and smooth surface from artificial or synthetic material The present invention relates to a device for producing yarns with high tensile strength, low extensibility and smooth surface from artificial or synthetic material.

In the production of mechanically spun staple fiber yarn it is necessary according to the conventional methods to use a number of separate process stages and consequently also separate facilities in order to double, twist, stretch, straighten, fix the yarn, to scorch, scrape and / or scold.

It should mean: doubling: the doubling, d. H. the introduction of several spun threads of the same type and strength into the machine, fixing: the stabilization of a yarn under the application of heat. Smoothing or squeegeeing or lissing: the treatment of a yarn to give it an evenly smooth surface. Singeing or gassing: the burning of off-going or protruding ends of fibers of a spun yarn.

Stretching: the elongation of a yarn while tension is applied in order to reduce its elasticity, possibly with heating of the thread. Twisting: the common twisting of several spun threads arranged side by side.

  The disadvantage of treating yarn in separate process stages using different machines or devices is that: 1. in every machine or device used for treatment, yarn breaks can occur on the yarn or thread that has to be unwound and reeled in each time, which are initially only provisionally taken by knotting the two ends of the break and can only be remedied later (when checking the thread) by removing the knot and splicing the thread ends at the point of the thread break with a certain reduction in tensile strength;

    2. For the treatment stages carried out one after the other on other machines and facilities, a significant expenditure of personnel, costs and space requirements for treatment facilities, the transport of the processed material from facility to facility and for storage space and other related activities are necessary.

The aim of the present invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to provide a device in which a large part of the stated aims can be achieved in a single process step.

The device according to the invention is characterized by one device each for twisting, heating and stretching the yarn, the twisting and stretching devices being arranged with respect to the heating device so that both the twisting and stretching of the yarn at least partially during its passage the heater takes place.

One can start from doubled, mechanically spun staple fiber yarn.

In a preferred embodiment, the heating device is designed as a hollow body, the hollow space traversed back and forth by the yarn having at least two grooves which are practically parallel to the direction of movement of the yarn.

On the accompanying drawing, three examples of the subject invention are illustrated. 1 shows schematically a first exemplary embodiment of the device, FIG. 2 in side elevation, seen from the right in FIG. 1, the arrangement of the rolls of the device according to FIG. 1 and the guiding of the yarn over these rolls, Fig. 3 schematically shows a second embodiment of the device, Fig. 4 in side elevation, seen in Fig. 3 from the right,

the arrangement of the rollers leading the yarn of the device according to FIG. 3 and the guiding of the yarn over these rollers, FIG. 5 schematically shows a third embodiment of the device with a positively driven tension roller instead of the friction roller drives of FIGS. 1 to 4, and FIG in the side elevation, seen from the right in FIG. 5, the arrangement of the rollers of the device according to FIG. 5 leading the yarn and the guidance of the yarn over these rollers.

The device of FIG. 1 to be described here has the following main parts, which are listed in the order in which they come into contact with the thread 1 to be treated.

A thread spool 2, which is driven by a shaft 4 via a belt drive 3, a thread guide 5, a heating element 6, a tension roller 8 provided with a thread roller 7, which is driven by a drum 9, a guide roller 10 with a thread groove 11, an idle Deflection roller 10a, a guide roller 12 with thread groove 13, a pull roller 15 provided with thread groove 14, which is driven by the shaft 4 via a drum 16, a deflection roller 17, a thread take-up finger 18,

which is made to slide alternately up and down on a spindle 19 by means of a guide 20, the spindle 19 being driven by the shaft 4 via a belt drive 21, a thread take-up bobbin 22 which is driven by the shaft 4 via a drum 23 receives its drive, and a motor 24 which drives the shaft 4.

The heating element 6 consists of a locally fixed part 25 and a hinged part 26. When the part 26 is closed, there is a cavity between the parts 25 and 26 for the passage of the yarn to be treated. In Fig. 1 grooves 27, 28 are provided in the inner wall of the heating element, against de Ren walls the yarn rests. The grooves can, however, also be absent, with the yarn lying against the cavity wall.

The heating element is by means of a through-flow means, z. B. steam, or be heated with electricity, the wall of the heating element of the use th heater is designed accordingly, z. B. as a cavity for the passage of steam. The heating element can be provided with thermal insulation on the outside.

On the inside, the heating element is provided with a smooth, heat-conducting wall for contact with the thread or is arranged in the heating element. elec tric heating provided with a corresponding cover, for. B. made of metal.

The energy supply to the heating element 5 is in a known manner and therefore not shown here so regulable bar that the cavity of the heating element can be brought to the desired temperature and kept at that temperature.

As the yarn passes through the heating element, the yarn is smoothed in that the fiber ends or fibril ends protruding from the yarn are melted and glued to the yarn.

This smoothing effect is further enhanced by the fact that the yarn is passed through grooves before and (or after passing through the heating element) in such a way that fiber ends or fibrillan ends protruding from the yarn are removed by abrasion.

The guide roller 10 above the heating element is rotatably mounted, but drove without engagement with an on. The pull roller 8, which is seated below the guide drum 10 and is driven by the drum 9, is seated freely rotatable on an axle 29, which is pivotably supported on an axle 32 by means of pivotable members 30, 31. By tension springs, one of which is illustrated by a spring 33 in FIG. 1, the pivotable members are held in such a way that the roller 8 remains in frictional engagement with the drive drum 9. The guide roller 10 is brought into rotation by the yarn running over it.

In the roller group 12, 15, the guide roller 12 is freely rotatable, and the pull roller 15, which is driven by the drum 16, sits freely rotatable on an axle 34 which is pivotably supported on an axle 37 by means of pivotable members 35, 36. By tension springs, of which a spring 38 is illustrated in Fig. 1, the pivotable members are held so that the pull roller 15 with the drive drum 16 remains in frictional engagement. The drive is transmitted from the drum 16 to the roller 15 and from there to the roller 12 via the yarn.

A thread guide roller, which is driven by a drive drum, is referred to here as a pull roller.

The peripheral speed in the groove bottom of the pulling roller 15 is greater than the peripheral speed in the groove bottom of the pulling roller B.

The thread winding finger 18 is guided up and down along the spin del 19 so that the winding of the bobbin 22 is distributed evenly and in the desired shape. The bobbin 22 is driven via a drive roller so that the winding of the yarn takes place at a constant speed, regardless of which winding diameter or circumference the bobbin 22 has.

The course of the yarn to be treated in the A direction of FIG. 1 can be seen on the drawn yarn 1 itself. The course of the wrapping of the various thread rolls 8, 10, 12 and 15 of FIG. 1 is particularly shown in FIG.

The purpose of using the roller combinations 8, 10, and 12, 15 instead of just one tension roller, which is wrapped by at least 360 of the yarn, is to prevent the yarn from rolling at one point after the tension when the yarn breaks would not be pulled further, is wound onto the pull roller. However, this risk does not exist with the roller combinations 8, 10 and 12, 15 shown and the yarn guide shown.

The effects achieved on the yarn performed by the device of Fig. 1 result from the following considerations.

The yarn drawn off from the thread bobbin 2 by the pulling roller 8 of the roller combination 8, 10 is twisted on the way from the bobbin to the rollers 8, 10 when the bobbin 2 with its bobbin carrier is set in rotation by the belt drive 3.

When the yarn 1 passes through the heating element 6, the thread slides on the smooth and heat-conducting inner lining in the cavity of the heating element. Since the yarn is twisted at the same time as a result of the twisting, it is intensely subject to the effects in the groove 27 of the heating element which are referred to above as smoothing, lissing and raking.

A mechanical-thermal removal of the away or protruding ends (replacement singeing) of the fibers is effected on spun yarn.

The yarn 1 grasped by the roller group 8, 10 is fed to the running path 39, i.e., in accordance with the circumferential speed, in the thread groove 7 of the pulling roller 8. H. the distance between pull roller 8 and pull roller 15, delivered. The yarn is withdrawn from the pulling roller 15 from the passage 39 according to the circumference of the groove 14. Since the circumferential speed of the pulling roller 15 was selected to be greater than that of the pulling roller 8, the yarn is stretched in the course 39.

Since the yarn on the running path 39 is simultaneously exposed to heating in the interior of the heating element and in the groove 28 or (in the absence of a groove) on the inner wall of the heating element, the effect of fixing, smoothing and lissing is shown on the yarn , Raking and scorching.

Since the yarn within the heating element can be exposed to various high temperatures up to a temperature close to the softening point of the yarn material and can be passed through the heating element at different speeds, the degree of fixing, smoothing, lissing can be reduced ,

Squeegeeing and replacement scorching, and thus the properties of the yarn, can be influenced by the choice of temperature for the cavity of the heating element and the throughput speed of the yarn.

The degree of stretching during the second pass through the heating element is mainly determined by the difference in the circumference of the thread rolls compared to the pull rolls 8, 15.

3 illustrates the second exemplary embodiment of a device suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention. It has the following parts, which are also listed in the order in which they are touched or passed through by the treated yarn 1:

a rotatable, provided with a drive 92 thread spool 40, a Fadenfüh rer 93, a train roller 43 provided with thread grooves 41 and 42, which is driven by a drum 44, a guide roller 45 with thread grooves 46 and 47, a heating element 48, a pulley 49, another deflection roller 50, a thread take-up finger 51, which alternately slides up and down on a spindle 52 with the assistance of a guide 53, the spindle del via a belt drive 54.

is driven by a shaft 55, a thread take-up spool 56, which holds its drive from the shaft 55 via a drum 57, and a motor 58 which drives a shaft 59 on which the drive drum 44 sits and which is via a bevel gear 60 drives the shaft 55.

For the reasons given above for using a combination of rollers to prevent torn yarn from being wound onto a tension roller, a guide roller 45 and a tension roller 43 are also combined here to form a roller combination. If one imagines the roller combination 8, 10 in front of the heating element 6 in FIG. 1 and united with the roller combination 12, 15 to form a single roller combination, a roller combination as is formed in FIG. 3 by the rollers 43, 45 is obtained . The roller combination 43, 45 comprises the thread grooves 41 and 46 for the upwardly guided yarn and the thread grooves 47 and 42 for the downwardly guided yarn.

The thread groove 41 has a smaller diameter than the thread groove 42 and the thread groove 46 has a smaller diameter than the thread groove 47, the diameter ratio of the grooves 41 to 46 being the same as that of the grooves 42 to 47.

The pulling roller 43, which is driven by the drum 44, sits freely rotatably on the axis 61, which is pivotably supported on an axis 64 with means of pivotable members 62 and 63. The pivotable members are held by tension springs, one of which is illustrated in FIG. 3, so that the tension roller 43 remains in frictional engagement with the drive roller 44.

The structure and mode of operation of the heating element 48 correspond to the heating element 6 described above. The part of the device that the yarn reaches with the deflection roller 50 corresponds in structure and mode of operation to the part of the device according to FIG. 1 that the yarn reaches with the deflection roller 17 .

The course of the yarn to be treated in the A direction according to Figure 3 can be seen on the drawn yarn 1 itself. The course of the wrapping of the two thread rolls of FIG. 3 in the various thread grooves 41, 46, 47 and 42 is best seen in FIG.

The effects achieved on the yarn carried out by the device in FIG. 3 result, similar to the device in FIG. 1, from the following considerations: The yarn 1 is removed from the bobbin 40 through the grooves 41, 46 of the roller combination 43, 45 deducted.

The yarn which is discharged from the grooves 41, 46 onto the running path 66 between the grooves 41, 46 and the grooves 47, 42, is drawn off the running path 66 by the grooves 47, 42 at greater speed, since the diameter of the grooves 47 is larger than the diameter of the grooves 46. This means that the yarn is stretched on the running path 66.

The yarn 1 passes through the heating element 48 on the runway 66 twice, namely once up through the groove 67 in FIG. 3 and once down through the groove 68 of the heating element. When the spool 40 is rotated, the yarn is twisted the first time it passes through the heating element. As a result of the heating in the heating element and the friction in the grooves 67, 68 or in the absence of grooves on the smooth, thermally conductive inner wall of the heating element, the yarn is fixed, smoothed, lissed, doctored and / or seared depending on the interior of the heating element selected temperature and the speed of the yarn.

What was said above in connection with FIG. 1 also applies to FIG. 3 for the extensibility and the degree of stretching.

Fig. 5 shows a third embodiment of a suitable device, which has the following parts in the order of loading with the treated yarn: A thread spool 69 which is driven by a shaft 71 via a belt drive 70, a thread guide 72, a Roller 73, a heating element 74, a pulley 75, a pair of pull rollers 76, 77, which is driven by the shaft 71 via a belt drive 78, a shaft 79 and a gear pair 80, 81, a thread winding finger 82, which is guided by a guide 83 longitudinally a spindle 84, which is driven by the shaft 71 via a belt drive 85, a take-up reel 86,

which receives its drive from a drum 87 on the shaft 71, and a motor 88 which is net angeord to drive the shaft 71 on this.

According to the description of FIGS. 1 and 3, it is sufficient to limit the description of FIG. 5 to two parts, namely the thread guide roller 73 and the driven roller or drum pair 76, 77. The roller pair 76, 77 pulls the yarn 1 off the thread spool 69 over the guide roller 73, through the running path 89, d. H. from a thread groove 90 to a thread groove 91 of the guide roller, and from the guide roller to the roller pair 76, 77.

The guide roller 73, through the different diameters between the parts shown on the left and right in FIG. 5, makes it understandable that the yarn running out of the pulling groove 90 at a certain speed is drawn from the pulling groove 91 at a higher speed from the running path, is stretched in the running route. Since the running route 89 of FIG. 5 is otherwise similar to the running route 66 of FIG. 3, what has been said there also applies here, both to the method carried out and to the device used for this purpose.

The advantage of the device of FIG. 5 lies in the greater simplicity of the construction and the smaller number of components.

The traction rollers of FIGS. 1 and 3 and the guide roller of FIG. 5 can be interchangeable with rollers with different groove diameters and with different ratios for the groove diameter of the traction grooves working together on a route.

It has already been stated above that the grooves in the heating element may be missing. The grooves can, however, also have the desired training forms in the longitudinal and transverse directions, which have certain effects of the treatment, e.g. B. smoothing, Lissieren, Raklieren and / or replacement singeing, particularly favored term. Such designs can be particularly advantageous for the groove 27, which leads the twisted by the twisting process yarn between the bobbin 2 and the roller combination 8,10.

As I said, the thread produced with the device described has a higher tensile strength. The device is therefore particularly suitable for the production of sewing thread. A particularly smooth yarn can also be produced with the above device.

The yarn passed over the rollers in the treatment section is also subjected to a treatment in the sense of smoothing, lissing and / or squeegeeing when entering the guide grooves, when it is lifted out of the grooves and when rubbing adjacent overlapping pieces of thread on the pull rollers . When walking over rollers that are behind heating sections in the direction of thread travel, the substitute singeing occurs more intensely.

By stretching the yarn during the second pass through the heating section, the stretchability of the yarn is reduced and the tensile strength it increases. During the subsequent cooling down, the yarn is fixed.

The device described also has a favorable effect on the elasticity and the shrinkage properties of the yarns being treated. For example, the elasticity factor of Tergal can be reduced from 17 0/0 to 10-12%,

while the shrinkage value of Tergal can be reduced from 10% to 2-3%.
