Compressed air distribution block system for pneumatic measuring and control devices The present invention relates to a compressed air distribution block system for pneumatic measuring and control devices on production plants of all kinds.
The manifold block system according to the invention differs from the known compressed air distribution blocks, their row connectors and end pieces made of solid material in aluminum or brass, in that the compressed air distribution blocks pushed onto a mounting rail are injection molded pieces made of thermoplastic material.
Insofar as series connectors and end pieces are assigned to the distribution blocks, these can also be injection molded pieces.
The system according to the invention is particularly characterized by its inexpensive manufacture and its low weight.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, namely: FIG. 1 shows a view of a compressed air distributor block group, FIG. 2 shows a block of three of the compressed air distributor partly in view and partly in section, FIG Arrow III in Fig. 2, Fig. 4 is a view of an end piece, Fig. 5 is a view of a connecting piece, Fig. 6 is a view of an individual,
Pipe and hose connector blocks mounted on the support rail on a larger scale, FIG. 7 shows a side view in the direction of arrow VII in FIG. 6, partially in section, and FIG. 8 shows a plan view of FIG.
In contrast to the previously known systems of this type for pneumatic measuring and control devices, the compressed air distribution blocks, row connectors and pipe or hose connectors shown are made of thermoplastic plastic using an injection molding process. Glass fiber reinforced grillon has proven to be a particularly suitable plastic.
In Fig. 1, a compressed air distribution block 2 with five opposing connection nipples 3, and a compressed air distribution block 2 are on a support rail 1 of U-profile with differently projecting profile legs and angled longitudinal guide edges 1 ', 1 " three opposing connection nipples 3 pushed on.
The distributor blocks 2 have longitudinal guide legs 4, 5 (FIG. 3) on their side facing the support rail 1, which at their outer ends each have a guide channel 4 'that interacts with the longitudinal guide edges 1', 1 "of the rail 1. or 5 '. Distribution lines 6 are connected to the opposite outlets 3 by means of connection nuts 6'.
For the designation of the various distribution lines 6 tabs 7 are provided, which are provided with numbers or letters and are arranged on two parallel longitudinal webs 8 and 9 with bead-like thickened edges and removable bar.
According to Fig. 2 and 3, the compressed air longitudinal channels 10 of the manifold blocks 2 are provided with lateral, opposite outlets 10 ', in the internal thread de the connecting nipple 3 are screwed. The two ends of the three and five blocks 2 have connecting pieces 11 with internal threads 11 '.
A designed as a hollow socket with hexagon connection piece 12 (Fig. 5) with provided at both ends external threads 12 'and O-sealing rings 13 on the threaded lugs, is used to connect the two United divider blocks 2, as can be seen from Fig.l. 14 (FIG. 4) is a terminating piece provided with an external thread 12 'and an O-sealing ring 13, which is arranged at the end of a distributor block or a distributor block group (left in FIG. 1).
The compressed air supply line 15, which is arranged at the end of the distribution block group opposite the end piece 14, is connected to the connection piece 11 of the first distribution block 2 by means of a pipe angle 16 with an externally threaded connector 12 ′. 17 are in the longitudinal channel 10 of the blocks 2 opening measuring connections for attaching a manometer.
FIGS. 6 to 8 show a single block 2 serving as a pipe and hose connector in the transverse bore 10 '(FIG. 7) of which the connecting nipple 3 is screwed in and provided with an internal thread. The hoses 6 to be connected to one another are connected to the latter by means of union nuts 6 '. The connector block 2 'is provided in the same way as the distributor blocks 2 with longitudinal guide legs 4, 5, which engage the longitudinal guide edges 1', 1 "of the support rail 1 by means of guide grooves 4 ', 5' and allow a longitudinal displacement on the support rail 1.
Furthermore, the connector block 12 is also provided with longitudinal webs 8, 9 parallel to one another to accommodate tabs 7. The support rail 1 is attached by means of screws 18 (Fig. 1) to a frame part of the pneumatically controlled production plant.
