Description

Closure on a shoe, in particular on a ski boot
The present invention relates to a fastener on a shoe, in particular on a ski boot, with a tension member that can be stretched over the two side parts of the shoe and around a hook attached to the first side part, one end of which is attached to the second side part.

In order to achieve the tight lacing required for ski boots, which should sit firmly on the foot during downhill skiing, with conventional laces, the entire length of the shoe must be pulled as evenly as possible during the lacing, which is not easy to achieve by hand and especially in cold weather .

In addition, it has proven to be desirable to relieve the foot, which is firmly and immovably seated in the shoe, between descents by opening the fastener in order to be able to prevent the foot from getting cold due to movement. This requires the fastener to be easy to operate, a property that is not inherent in the lace fastener.

One has therefore switched to providing the ski boots with a plurality of quickly closing and releasable clamping lever locks, a clamping lever being attached to one shaft part and a hooking part that interacts therewith on the other shaft part. These closures can be closed and released with ease. However, the clamping lever is turned outwards when closing, i. H. to the edge of the sole, turned down. The free actuating end of the clamping lever comes to lie relatively far down in the closed position and also protrudes from the shaft part in order to make it easier to grip it when opening. This creates the risk that the tensioning lever, e.g. with drag lifts, hooked, whereby an upward force is exerted on the actuating end, which involuntarily releases the tension lever.

It is also possible that, in extreme driving positions, the ends of the tensioning levers come into contact with the hard surface, as a result of which the tensioning levers can be torn off.

It has also been proposed to provide the ski boots with several cables attached with their two ends to one side part, each cable being guided from its two attachment points via a hook attached to the other side part, releasably suspended from a tensioner arranged between the attachment points is. The lock is opened or closed by loosening and tightening the clamps using a clamping lever. The amount of tension with which the side parts are pulled against each other is determined by the tensile force acting on the sections of the cable, which is, however, smaller than the force exerted by the tensioner as this is divided between the two parts of the cable that are each deflected via a hook .

In order to achieve a firm fit of the foot in the shoe, a large closing tension and, associated with this, a large tensile force on the cable is required. The force to be applied by the tensioner, which, as mentioned, must be greater than the tensile force on the cable, can reach a value that makes it difficult to tighten the tensioner, if not impossible. This can be counteracted by lengthening the clamping lever and an associated improvement in the lever ratio, but this creates the possibility that the free actuating end of the clamping lever comes to rest on the outside of the shoe against the edge of the sole in the closed position. This increases the risk that the clamping lever can either be opened involuntarily or torn off.

The aim of the invention is to create a simple lock which, while eliminating the disadvantages mentioned, can be operated easily. In the proposed closure, this purpose is achieved according to the invention in that the other end of the pulling element is anchored on a tensioning element connected to the second side part.

Exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are described in more detail below with reference to the drawing.

It shows in a diagonal diagonal front view:
Fig. 1 shows a front part of a ski boot with a closure, with a rotatable clamping element, in ge open state,
2 shows the closure according to FIG. 1 in the closed state and
3 shows a front part of a ski boot with a foldable clamping element.

The ski boot shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 consists of two halves 1 and 2 which can be folded apart about a common longitudinal axis. On one shoe half 1, a cable 3 serving as a tension member is anchored at one end in the instep area. A sleeve 4, which is attached to the shoe and consists of two parts 5 and 6, is pushed over the cable 3. The part 5 has a larger diameter than the part 6, the transition between the two parts being designed as a shoulder. The other end of the cable 3 is movably connected to the latter via a pin 8 attached to a tensioning lever 7.

One end of the elongated tensioning lever 7, rounded on the narrow sides, is rotatably attached to the shoe half 1. A groove 9 for receiving the cable 3 is provided over part of the circumference in the side surfaces of the tensioning lever 7.

On the other shoe half 2, an elongated hook 10 arranged along the parting line between the two halves is attached. The upper part of the hook protrudes, thereby forming a guide 11 for the cable 3 that extends over part of the circumference.

As shown in Fig. 1, the clamping lever 7 is rotated downwards against the toe of the shoe when the lock is open. The cable 3 is relaxed and can easily be detached from the guide 11 on the hook 10.

When closing, the shoe halves are folded against each other and the loose cable 3 is placed in the guide 11 around the hook 10. Then the tensioning lever 7 is rotated counterclockwise from its open position against the fastening point of the cable 3. As a result of this rotation, the cable 3 is tensioned around the hook 10, the guide 11 preventing the cable 3 from sliding over the hook 10. The tensioned cable 3 presses the two shoe halves 1 and 2 together. After the part 5 of the sleeve 4 has been passed over by the free end part of the clamping lever 7, the latter hooks into the shoulder between the sleeve parts 5 and 6 and is secured in its end position against involuntary opening.

The cable 3 is guided through the groove 9 on the tensioning lever.

When the lock is opened, the clamping lever 7 must first pass over the shoulder on the sleeve 4, thereby releasing the security against opening. The Spannhe bel 7 is then rotated into the open position. As a result, the cable is relaxed and can be released from the guide 11 of the hook 10. The two halves of the shoe can then be unfolded.

The ski boot shown in Fig. 3 also consists of two halves 1 and 2 that can be folded down about a common longitudinal axis - As in the closure described in Figs. 1 and 2, a cable 3 serving as a pulling element is anchored at one end to the shoe half 1, while on the other shoe half 2 an elongated hook 10 is attached, which is arranged along the parting line between the two halves and on which a guide 11 extending over part of the circumference is formed.

The other end of the cable 3 is connected to an arm 13 of a tensioning buckle 12, which is U-shaped in cross section. The tensioning buckle 12 also has a folding lever 14 on which is movably connected to the arm 13 via a bolt 15 near its free actuation end. A longitudinal slot 16 is formed at the other end of the folding lever 14. On the open side of the longitudinal slot 16, a transverse pin 17 carried by the side walls of the slot is arranged. A plate 18 with rivets 19 is fastened to the shoe half 1 near the fastening point of the cable 3. This plate 18 carries a number of teeth 20. The folding lever 14 of the tensioning buckle 12 can engage in the gaps 21 between the teeth 20 with its transverse pin 17.

To close the closure, the cable 3 is placed in the guide 11 around the hook 10 when the shoe halves are folded. The tensioning buckle 12 is then hung with its folding lever 14 into one of the gaps 21 between the teeth 20. The folding lever 14 is then folded over with its actuating end over a pressure point onto the shoe, whereby the arm 13 comes to rest over the folding lever 14 and the cable anchored on the arm 13 is tensioned around the hook 10. As a result, the shoe halves are pressed against each other. By driving over the pressure point, the tensioning buckle 12 is secured against opening that is too easy.

When the closure is opened, the folding lever 14 is folded upwards away from the shoe over the pressure point and folded against the arm 13, whereby the tension on the cable 3 is released. The cable 3 can now be removed from the guide 11 and the shoe halves folded apart.

By indenting the engaging flank of the teeth 20, the transverse pin 17 of the folding lever 14 remains in engagement with the tooth 20 even when the tensioning buckle 12 is open, so that the folding lever 14 does not have to be hooked in when it is closed again.

The size of the tension in the cable can be changed within certain limits by selecting the gap between the teeth when hanging the folding lever.

Serving as a pulling element cable can be made of a wide variety of materials, such as. B. steel or plastic, but these materials have to have a sufficiently high tensile strength.
