Target system with shot display
The target system should take over the function of the pointer and the adhesive in the target stands of the shooting ranges.
Arrangements with a direct shot display are known. One of the known arrangements uses segmented steel plates which are arranged behind the disc. An electrical contact is assigned to each steel plate. If a plate is hit, the relevant contact is actuated and the corresponding current pulse is evaluated in the electrical display system and the shot value is displayed. The system is very prone to failure, because when bullets hit a parting line, the edges of the segments are damaged, which leads to jamming.
Another known arrangement is that of the use of disks which have a thin electrically conductive layer on both sides. The two surfaces are divided into sectors according to the pattern of the target. When the pane is shot through, a short-term connection is created between the front and back. Because the
If the coverings are under electrical voltage, a current pulse is generated when they penetrate. The impulse is evaluated in the display device and the shot value is displayed. Disadvantages of this arrangement are that powder residues on the projectile or parts of the conductive coating can form permanent contact. In addition, there is the uncomfortable fact that, especially with good shooters, the center is quickly shot out in such a way that the target has to be replaced in order to ensure that the shot continues to be displayed properly.
The wear and tear on expensive lens material is significant.
The above-described disadvantages of the known arrangements are avoided by the arrangement according to the invention, which is characterized in that a vacuum scanning device for two coordinates and an automatic gluing device is provided below the terrain line.
In the accompanying drawings, an exemplary embodiment of a target system according to the invention is shown schematically in FIGS. 1 and 2. 1 shows a front view and FIG. 2 shows a side view. In the two figures, the space above the boundary G is the field of fire.
In Fig. 1, 1 is the disk made of paper that is as free from distortion as possible. 2 is a wooden frame or a similar material that in any case cannot cause any rebound shots. 3 is a roller on which the disc is wound as it is pulled down. 4 is a slotted tube and 5 is a suction nozzle. 8 is an electrical contact that switches when the suction nozzle is moved away from the rest position shown. 12 are counterweights for tensioning the disc 1. 13 is a vacuum system with connections to the slotted tube 4 and to the suction nozzle 5. 14 is the potentiometer for displaying the vertical ordinate 0 and 15 is the potentiometer that is coupled with horizontal displacement, to indicate the abscissa A. 16 is the motor that moves the suction nozzle 5 horizontally. T and T 'mean projectile impacts. D is the stroke of a magnet, which is shown in FIG.
In Fig. 2, 1 is the disc, 2 is a wooden frame and 3 is the roller for winding the disc 1. 4 is a slotted tube and 5 is a suction nozzle. 6 is the motor for driving the roller 3. 7 is the guide for the suction nozzle 5 and for the gluing device 10. 9 is a contact which is actuated by a cam disk which is coupled to the roller 3. 10 is a Transfer device with actuating magnet, namely a self-adhesive device such as is commercially available, so that a description is superfluous.
13 is a dual function vacuum apparatus.
Once it creates the vacuum for the slotted tube 4 and the suction nozzle 5, and at the same time, when the vacuum breaks down, contact is made by the built-in contact manometer. 11 is a lifting magnet that generates the stroke D.
It goes without saying that the potentiometers 13 and 14 can be replaced by other elements, for example by indicators of the angle of rotation for the roller 3 and the guide 7.
In the exemplary embodiment, the transmission of right-angled coordinates, namely A and 0 in FIG. 1, is provided for displaying the shot position. However, a transmission of the polar coordinates is also conceivable. Constructively, this solution would be more complicated, but it would have the advantage that the display would be more precise with the same device spread in the center.
The electrical circuit is only mentioned as far as it is necessary to explain the function. The contacts 8 and 9, the potentiometers 14 and 15 and the contact manometers provided in the vacuum apparatus 13 relate to the electrical circuit.
To explain the function, the display of hit T in FIG. 1 will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.
After the shooter has fired the shot, the display device is activated by pressing a button in the shooting range. As a result, the vacuum apparatus 13 starts to work. The tube 4 with the slot and the suction nozzle 5 suck up the disc 2. After reaching a certain lower pressure, for example 10 cm water column, the motor 6 and the lifting magnet 11 are switched on by the contact manometer.
The lifting magnet pulls the disk down by the amount D and the motor 6 begins to rotate. During the pulling down, the disk 1 remains taut thanks to the weights 12. When the penetration T comes through the slot in the tube 4, the vacuum breaks down and the contact manometer switches off the motor 6.
With the motor 6, the lifting magnet 11 is also de-energized. The disc slides back upwards by the amount D shown. The vacuum recovers. When the vacuum is restored, the contact manometer, together with contact 9, switches on the motor 16. The suction nozzle now begins to scan the pane in a horizontal direction. After running through the distance A, the suction nozzle hits the outlet T and the vacuum collapses again. Contact 8 is now switched. The gluing device 10 is now actuated together with the contact manometer. At the same time, the positions of the potentiometers 14 and 15 are transmitted to the display device in the shooting range. The position of potentiometer 14 corresponds to the ordinate 0 and the position of potentiometer 15 corresponds to the abscissa A.
With the shooter, the shot is now marked by the display device on a target, for example as a luminous point, at the same time the shot value can be printed on the stand sheet.
After the shooter has taken note of the value and the location of the hit, the motor 16 is restarted by pressing a button. The suction nozzle now continues scanning up to the right end position. After activating a limit switch, not shown, the nozzle moves to the left, shown end position. Contact 8 confirms that the rest position has been reached. Then the motor 6 and the pull magnet 11 begin to pull the disc into the lower end position. After reaching the lower end position, the direction of rotation of the motor 6 is reversed and the disc moves into the upper end position shown. Reaching the upper end position is acknowledged by contact 9. The target is ready to fire again.
If there were a second hit in the target, for example T ', the above-described process of indicating the shot and sticking would be repeated. After taking note of this second value, the key must be pressed again. It is therefore guaranteed that all shots are shown even in the case of series fire.
