Fig. 1 eine Vorderansicht des Blockwärmespeichers und
Block heat storage
The invention relates to a block heat accumulator for receiving a liquid heat transfer medium, in particular for electrically heated central heating systems, with individual, superimposed heat storage tanks, each of which has a connection for the flow and a connection for the return.
The purpose of the invention is to create a block heat accumulator which is improved over existing designs and which in particular consists of a larger number of individual containers, with favorable connection options for the individual containers.
The block heat accumulator according to the invention is characterized in that the block heat accumulator comprises at least two blocks of heat storage tanks arranged one above the other and that the flow connections and the return connections of the containers of the blocks located at the same height are provided at adjacent locations.
This results in a block heat accumulator with a correspondingly large capacity, which after its installation on site thanks to the favorable location of the flow and return connections, easily and without much effort to lay lines to the system to be supplied, eg. B. a heating system can be connected.
A particularly expedient embodiment also consists in that the flow connections of the containers of the blocks lying at the same level are connected to a flow line common to all flow connections of the containers of the blocks and that the return connections of the containers of the blocks lying at the same height are also connected to a flow line for all return connections of the tanks of the blocks are connected to the common return line.
With regard to the operation of the block heat accumulator, it is also advantageous if the common flow line is arranged in the area of the flow connections of the containers of one block and the common return line is arranged in the area of the return connections of the containers of the other block. This results in particularly favorable conditions with regard to the line resistances.
An exemplary embodiment of the block heat accumulator according to the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing. They represent:
Fig. 1 is a front view of the block heat storage and
FIG. 2 is a side view of part of the block heat storage system, seen from the left in FIG.
The block heat accumulator shown consists of two blocks A and B, each of which has three heat accumulator containers 1a, 2a, 3a and 3b one above the other with the aid of spacer brackets or the like.
lb, 2b, 3b for receiving a liquid heat transfer medium, in the present case water. They are each equipped with two electric heating elements 4, a limiting thermostat 5 and a thermometer 6.
Each of the containers is equipped with a flow connection 7a or 7b and a return connection 8a or 7b.
8b provided for the liquid heat transfer medium. The arrangement is such that the flow connections 7a, 7b and the return connections 8a, 8b of the containers la, lb or
2a, 2b or 3a, 3b of both blocks A and B are located at adjacent locations, namely in the illustrated embodiment in the vicinity of the mutually facing ends of the container.
The flow connections 7a, 7b of the containers ia, 1b or 2a, 2b or 3a, 3b lying at the same level are connected to one another and to a common flow line 17 by lines 9. The latter leads to a mixing chamber 15, which is also designed as a water heater and from which a line 16 for supplying a collective heating system or another system to be supplied with heat extends.
In a corresponding manner, the return connections 8a, 8b of the containers la, lb or 2a, 2b or 3a, 3b of both blocks A and B located at the same level are connected by lines 10 to each other and to a common return line 18 which connects the cold Returns heat carrier from the system. From this common return line 18, a shut-off branch line 14 also goes to the mixing chamber 15.
As Fig. 1 shows, the common flow line 17 is arranged in the area of the flow connections 7a of the containers ia, 2a, 3a of one block A, while the common return line 18 is arranged in the area of the return connections 8b of the containers 1b, 2b, 3b of the other block B runs. This is therefore a symmetrical arrangement of the two common lines in relation to a vertical plane to be imagined between the connections. In the embodiment shown, this plane is also the plane of symmetry of the two blocks A and B. However, this does not necessarily have to be the case. Such a line arrangement results in particularly favorable, balanced resistance ratios, which has an advantageous effect on the operation of the block heat accumulator.
