Description

I'usager renverse la boîte.

  Dosing device
The invention relates to a metering device, intended to be fitted on a container.

There are many devices of this kind, intended to replace the usual measuring spoon and including or not a movable member. In the former, the movement of the movable member is sometimes hampered by the product to be dosed. The latter do not always provide the necessary precision.

The device according to the invention avoids these drawbacks.

It is characterized by the fact that it comprises at least one dosing compartment, at least one communication orifice between said compartment and the container, and at least one pouring orifice, as well as at least one movable member closing off the orifice. communication and simultaneously discovering the pouring orifice and vice versa.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is a cross section of a metering device.

Fig. 2 is a cross section of a variant.

Fig. 3 is a section along III - III of FIG. 2.

In the drawing, the device consists of a body of generally cylindrical shape with a coil 1, intended to be placed in place of the cover on a can of milk powder with a penny lever type cover, for example. The upper wall 2 is transparent and pierced with a pouring orifice 3 and the lower wall 4, opaque, comprises a communication orifice 5. They leave between them a dosing compartment 6. Between the walls is a sliding tab 7. That tongue can occupy either the position shown in solid lines, in which it closes the communication orifice 5 and uncovers the pouring orifice 3, or the position shown in dotted lines, in which it is the opposite: the tongue 7 uncovers the communication port 5 and closes the pouring port 3.

The operation of the device is as follows: the tongue being in the position shown in dotted lines,
The user overturns the box. The device is then placed in the reverse position of the figure, and the product flows from the box into the dosing compartment 6 through the communication port 5. The user turns the box over and pushes the tab 7 to close the opening Communication.

Through the transparent wall 2, he can ensure that the dosing compartment 6 is full. The pouring orifice 3 is then uncovered and the contents of the dosing compartment 6 can be poured through this orifice.

In the variant shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, two dosing compartments are delimited by the upper wall 8 (transparent), the oblique walls 9 and the lower wall 10. The communication orifice is at 11 and the pouring orifice at 12. The latter is closed, in the position shown in solid lines, by two parallel sliders 13 and 14 movable independently of one another. If one of the sliders is moved to the position shown in dotted lines, part of the communication port is closed so that one of the dosing compartments is closed with respect to the underside of the device, at the same time. time, part of the pouring hole is open.

This variant allows a half-portion to be dosed as follows: one of the dosing compartments being closed as explained above, the user reverses the box to fill the other compartment, then slides the corresponding slider, this which uncovers part of the pouring hole 12.

The half-portion contained in this compartment can then be poured through this orifice.

By moving the two cursors 13 and 14 at the same time, this variant works like the execution of FIG. 1.

Tests have shown that the dispersion of the measurement deviations is three times lower with the device according to the invention than with the usual measuring spoon.
