Dabei zeigt:
Fig. 1 ein Zeit-Diagramm eines Digitalsignals
Fig. 2 schematisch die Schaltung zur Ermittlung der Anzahl Fadenbrüche.
Circuit arrangement for determining the number of thread breaks on processing machines in the textile industry
The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for determining the number of thread breaks on processing machines in the textile industry.
For production monitoring in the textile industry, a move has been made to record machine data in the form of electrical signals and then, after appropriate conversion into pulses and pulse sequences, make them accessible to electronic data processing.
For the purpose of generating signals about the operating status of the individual workstations, for example spindles, on textile machines, these are equipped with sensors that emit a different signal, depending on whether the spindle in question is in operation, i.e. working productively, or standing still and thus unproductive. Because of their large number per machine, such sensors are advantageously combined in such a way that they emit an overall signal which is proportional to the number of spindles in operation.
This overall signal forms an analog signal. To make this usable for data processing, it is first converted into a digital signal in an analog-digital converter.
For the purpose of determining the number of thread breaks on processing machines in the textile industry, this digital signal is now examined with regard to its changes in a specific polarity.
The present invention relates to a circuit arrangement for determining the number of yarn breaks on processing machines in the textile industry and is characterized in that a digital signal reproducing the number of running or the number of stationary spindles is examined at predetermined intervals to determine whether there is a change compared to the previous query in the direction that corresponds to the occurrence of a further thread break, and that when such a change occurs, an output pulse is sent to an evaluation circuit.
In a practical embodiment, the circuit arrangement is designed so that the pending digital signals are stored on the one hand at the end of a query interval, and that a comparison is made between the stored value and the new digital value at the beginning of the subsequent query interval. If the comparison shows a difference in one direction, a toggle switch is brought into its second switch position, while if there is a difference in the other direction, the toggle switch is not influenced. Switching over the flip-flop results in an output pulse which increases the number of yarn breaks by 1 in the evaluation circuit.
An exemplary embodiment is explained with the aid of the figures. It shows:
1 shows a time diagram of a digital signal
2 schematically shows the circuit for determining the number of thread breaks.
In the diagram according to FIG. 1, interrogation intervals are plotted on the abscissa ln. The ordinate 2 contains the number of running spindles as a scale; or as a variant - the number of stationary spindles.
Depending on which of the two possible changes is evaluated, either the abrupt changes in the digital signal 20 downwards 21 or those upwards 22 are evaluated.
In the circuit arrangement shown schematically in FIG. 2, the total analog signal A originating from the sensors is converted in the analog-digital converter 12 into a digital signal 20. This digital signal is applied on the one hand to a memory 14 and on the other hand to one input E of a comparator 16. The other input F of the comparator 16 is connected to the memory 14.
A control device, consisting of a counter 11 and a timing element 13, gives pulses to the memory 14 and to the flip-flop 17 and the AND gate 18 at predetermined time intervals. The pulses on the memory 14 keep the latest information in the memory brought. The comparator continuously compares the status of the memory 14 with the status at the input E and if, for example, a lower value occurs at the input E than in the memory 14, a signal is sent to the flip-flop 17. which holds this signal until the end of the clock interval.
At the end of the interval, a pulse appears on the flip-flop 17 and. if a signal was stored during the previous period, a signal is sent to the evaluation circuit 19 via the AND gate 18 and at the same time the flip-flop 17 is reset.
Immediately thereafter, a second pulse from the timing element 13 goes to the memory, which is then prompted to store the latest status again.
If the number of thread breaks is to be determined. that change is used to trigger a signal in the comparator 16 which corresponds to a reduction in the number of spindles.
If spindles are included in the production process again in the course of the monitoring process (by correcting a thread break that occurred earlier).
this is not expressed as a counting pulse, since this change does not affect the flip-flop 17 connected downstream of the comparator 16.
