The invention relates to a thread cutting device for automatic cutting and clamping of a textile thread in the event of a thread break, in connection with a thread running monitoring device, in particular for stretching, twisting and winding machines.
Thread cutting devices which automatically cut a thread from mostly several filaments in the event of thread breakage are known in numerous functional principles and designs. These cutting devices are usually designed in such a way that they are coupled to a thread running monitoring device. The cutting or tear-off device is activated by the thread running monitoring device by means of rods, air pressure or electrical impulses and thereby prevents unwanted, difficult-to-remove so-called wild laps from forming on godets, delivery cylinders or shafts. Particularly in the case of re-shrinking thread material, these wraps around rotating machine elements are particularly strong and require a great deal of time and effort to remove.
If the wild laps are removed improperly, the mostly polished surfaces of godets and delivery cylinders will be damaged.
Particular attention should be paid to the fact that in the case of threads with several filaments all filaments are picked up and separated by the cutting device in good time.
So has already been suggested. to let one or more threads run next to the turns of a pre-tensioned spiral tension spring, which, if the thread breaks, is triggered by a linkage, pulls together and clamps the threads that were previously guided between the turns by the same impulse. The threads tear off.
It is also known to let the thread run between two sickle-shaped, spring-loaded shear blades, which are brought together like scissors in the event of a thread break and cut the thread to prevent unwanted laps.
A device is also known in which a thread normally runs between a fixed and a movable die by means of a pull magnet, the movable die head made of aluminum being covered with rubber and carrying a shear knife transversely to the thread running direction, which has a corresponding groove in the opposite fixed stamp is adapted. If a short electrical current pulse is fed to the pull magnet when the thread breaks, the iron core overcomes the force of a return spring and snaps the aluminum head against the fixed punch.
The cutter protruding from the aluminum head cuts the thread pressed into the groove of the punch. the end of which is held in place during the further forward movement of the punch between a rubber lining of the movable punch and the stationary punch. A spring-loaded detent in the protruding iron core secures the clamping position of the punch until it is manually triggered by an operator. which can restore the ready position of the cutting blades by pressing a lever.
The disadvantages of the known cutting devices result on the one hand from the relatively large number of components, whereby it should be noted that each individual work station must be equipped, and on the other hand from the fact that neither the spring clamping device nor the folding knife ensure a simultaneous cutting process in fractions of a second.
Every uncut filament that is still caught by a rotating body that is still turning initiates the wildly serious winding. Therefore, as suggested in GDR patent 31582, it is advantageous to fix the thread end during and after the separation process, since loose thread ends can come into contact with rotating machine parts even as a result of slight air movements. Another disadvantage of the known devices is the necessity. Having to adjust springs, knives or pretensioning forces to any other thread size In the case of particularly coarse types of silk, the thread becomes jammed between the flanks of the jackknife as soon as the edges lose their sharpness or the shear legs are not tight enough together. The re-grinding is complex because of the sickle shape.
It is therefore the purpose of the invention, to prevent unwanted wild laps on rotating textile machine parts, to create a reliably working thread trimming device in connection with a thread running monitoring device (which can be of a known type), which can guarantee largely freedom from maintenance with little component effort and is universal for the subtleties can be used.
The task is therefore to develop a cutting and clamping device, which e.g. is controlled by an electrical or pneumatic pulse from a thread run monitoring device, with low tensile forces can cause a high separation effect of all filaments contained in the thread in a fraction of a second, allows a wide fineness tolerance and clamps the thread end.
The object is achieved according to the invention.
that a two-armed lever in the event of a thread breakage can be pivoted into the thread path parallel to it in the rest state by means of a force pulse. that the thread behind a rounded edge of a stop runs at an acute angle over a cutting edge when tensioned by pull-off forces and can be clamped to the stop by a spring plate arranged parallel to the cutting edge for the duration of the force impulse and, after its cancellation, by a tension spring arranged on the lever and a housing fixed point can be returned to the rest position.
The entire device can advantageously be accommodated in a housing, in the side walls of which slot-shaped, permanent thread guide elements can be embedded for thread guidance. The force required to swivel in the shear blade and the spring plate can be kept very low, since the cutting force itself can be applied by the thread withdrawal forces, but for universal use with both fine and coarse silk types it is advantageous not to select the force too small. The cutting process itself can take place with a locally significantly increased tensile stress of the thread, since the thread pull-off force at the moment the lever arm swings into the thread path can counteract the braking forces at the clamping point between the spring plate and the stop and in this state the additionally deflected thread from the cutting edge is captured.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is explained in more detail below with reference to the drawing.
In the drawing show:
Fig. 1 shows the arrangement of the thread cutting elements in connection with an electromagnet in a housing and
2 shows the position of the movable thread cutting elements during the cutting process.
The device shown with the dimensions 30 X 50 X 70 mm is mounted on a draw twister between the delivery bobbin and the delivery cylinder on the front plate of the machine frame so that the thread 2 runs parallel to a two-armed lever 1 by means of thread guide elements when at rest. The side of the lever 1 facing the thread inlet has a cutting edge 4 at the end, under which a spring plate 5 is attached parallel to it. The lever is held in the rest position by a tension spring 7 which is attached to a pin 6 on the housing. The other side of the lever is connected to the armature of a pull magnet 8, which applies a pulling force of 40 p.
On the thread side opposite the lever 1, a stop 3 with a rounded edge 3a is arranged in such a way that the pivoting radius of the cutting edge passes the edge 3a, while the spring steel sheet 5 comes to rest against the stop 3 when it is pivoted. If the pull magnet now receives an electrical pulse from the yarn path monitoring device of the draw-twister when the yarn breaks, the armature attracts the associated arm of the lever 1, and at the same time the other lever arm swings into the path of the yarn 2. In the first phase, the thread 2 is pressed against the stop 3 by the spring plate 5, braked and, due to its elasticity, the thread tension is increased.
In the second pivoting phase, the already deflected thread 2 touches the cutting edge 4, which is further deflected by the cutting force that increases the contact pressure of the spring plate 5 against the stop 3 and the tension of the spring 7. The thread, guided around the round edge of the stop, lies at an acute angle around the cutting edge and is cut off by the tensile force of the delivery cylinder when it is pivoted past the rounded edge 3a. The thread end facing the delivery spool remains clamped between the stop and the spring steel sheet due to the pulling force of the magnet that is still in effect and cannot be caught by any rotating machine part. After the current flow from the pull magnet 6 has been interrupted, here by the contact of the thread 2 with the thread monitor of the draw-twister, the tension spring 7 pulls the lever 1 back into the rest position.
