Abstract

Aerator consists of a horizontal container with gas inlets and a revolving shaft with mixing elements. These elements are centrifugal impellers with axial suction and peripheral discharge, each with a gas inlet near the axis. The revolving shaft is surrounded by a guide tube with large suction holes and small distribution holes, the former are arranged between the impellers and the latter near the periphery of the impellers.

   Gegenstand der Anmeldung ist eine weitere Ausgestal   ung    und Verbesserung der im Hauptpatent dargestellten Vorrichtung.



   In der Vorrichtung gemäss dem Hauptpatent ist in einem mit seiner Längsachse horizontal gerichteten Behäl   :er    eine rotierende Welle mit mehreren Mischwerkzeugen angeordnet, welche von einem Leitrohr umgeben ist, das Ansaug Öffnungen und kleinere Zerteilungsöffnungen aufweist, wobei die Ansaugöffnungen zwischen den einzelnen Mischor   ganzen,    die Zerteilungsöffnungen nahe dem Umfang der   dischorgane    angebracht sind.



   Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, die Zumischung des Gases   zei    der horizontalen Anordnung weitestgehend zu sichern,   ;o    dass eine grössere Gasmenge in die Flüssigkeit einge    > racht    werden kann, ohne dass es nötig ist, das Gas unter rohem Druck einzuführen.



   Die Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass die das Gas zufühenden Öffnungen in geringem axialen Abstand von einzel   ien    Mischwerkzeugen angeordnet sind.



   In der Ausführung dieser Verbesserung können die Gaszu uhrleitungen durch die im Leitrohr angebrachten Ansaugöff   ungen    eingeführt werden. Die Öffnungen dieser Zuleitungsohre sind dann an eines oder - durch Gabelung des Zuleiungsrohres - an die beiden nächstliegenden als Flügelrad   iusgebildeten    Mischwerkzeuge heranzuführen. Es kann auch die Welle, welche die Mischwerkzeuge trennt, zum Teil oder ganz hohl ausgeführt und zur Zuleitung des Gases benützt werden. Dann sind die Öffnungen in der Nähe der Mischwerkzeuge, im Bereich deren Axialsogs, anzubringen. Je nach der mit der Flüssigkeit zu mischenden Gasmenge können die Gaszufuhreinrichtungen an einem oder mehreren Mischwerkzeugen angeordnet sein.

 

   PATENTANSPRUCH



   Vorrichtung zum Begasen von Flüssigkeiten, insbesondere zur Zumischung von Gasen in flüssige Nährmedien bei Fermentationsprozessen, nach Patentanspruch des Hauptpatentes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die das Gas zuführenden Öffnungen in geringem axialem Abstand von einzelnen Mischwerkzeugen angeordnet sind.



   UNTERANSPRÜCHE
1. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch. dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die einzelnen Gaszufuhröffnungen an durch die Ansaugöffnungen des Leitrohres eingeführten Rohren angebracht sind.



   2. Vorrichtung nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gaszufuhröffnungen an der als Hohlwelle ausgebildeten Antriebswelle der Mischwerkzeuge angebracht sind.
