Abstract

A garment shaped as a pair of pants, for bedridden patients, particularly for post-operative use, is made in one piece, with a side opening (4, 5) with a self-adhesive closure down the gap, and with a flap (3) suspended from the back panel, which in use is doubled over between the legs of the user, and attached by means of a self-adhesive strip (7) along the outer edge, to a panel across the stomach panel. This flap consists of a pair of layers (8, 11) between which an absorbent pad can be inserted.
