Abstract
At the circumference of the pump rotor (9) or on the pump housing surrounding the rotor, a rim (11) is provided which deflects the flow of fluid axially. The transfer of velocity-head to pressure-head in the pump is achieved within the pump rotor and during the flow past the deflecting rim. The pump medium leaves the pump without local pressure fluctuations which are usually the cause of pump noise. The rim round the rotor overlaps the rotor outlet completely or partially. The edge of the rim is parallel to the centreline of the rotor.
Description
Bei den bekannten Zentrifugalpumpen, insbesondere Umwälzpumpen von Zentralheizungen, macht sich jede Geräuschbildung während des Laufes unangenehm bemerkbar, da sie insbesondere während der Nachtzeit auffällig wird.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt, diesen Übelstand zu vermindern. Die erfindungsgemässe Zentrifugalpumpe kennzeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass am Radumfang oder am Gehäuse im Bereich des Radumfanges strömungsablenkende Mittel vorgesehen sind.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes wird anschliessend anhand einer Figur erläutert, welche eine Zentrifugalpumpe im Längsschnitt darstellt.
Das Pumpengehäuse 1 ist mit einem Zulaufstutzen 2, einem Laufrad 3 sowie einem Druckstutzen 4 ausgerüstet. Das Laufrad 3 ist mit Laufschaufeln 5 versehen, welche mitsamt einer Laufscheibe 9 und einer Deckscheibe Schaufelkanäle 7 festlegen. Diese Laufradscheibe 9 ist an ihrem äusseren Ende mit einem glockenförmigen Rand 11 versehen, welcher die aus den Schaufelkanälen 7 austretenden Ströme in Richtung gegen die Ansaugseite hin ablenkt. Das freie Ende des Randes verläuft praktisch parallel zur Pumpenradachse. Zum Antreiben des Laufrades 3 ist ein Antriebsmotor 13 mit einer Welle 15 vorgesehen.
Es ist auch möglich, derartige Ablenkmittel am Gehäuse anzubringen und sie entsprechend im Bereich des Laufradumfanges in die Schaufelkanalströmung vorstehen zu lassen.
Es handelt sich bei diesen Ablenkmitteln um solche, welche die Strömung insbesondere in axialer Richtung ablenken.
Dabei wird vermutlich die Umsetzung von Geschwindigkeitsin Druckenergie innerhalb des Pumpenrades und der Ablenkmittel vollzogen. Das Strömungsmedium verlässt den rotierenden Teil der Pumpe ohne örtliche Druckschwankungen, welche als Hauptursache des pfeifenden Geräusches angesehen werden.
PATENTANSPRUCH
Zentrifugalpumpe, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass am Radumfang oder am Gehäuse im Bereich des Radumfanges strömungsablenkende Mittel vorgesehen sind.
UNTERANSPRÜCHE
1. Zentrifugalpumpe nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel als in die Strömung aus den Schaufeln vorstehender, z. B. auf seinem ganzen Umfang geschlossener, glockenförmiger Rand ausgebildet sind.
2. Zentrifugalpumpe nach Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Rand als Fortsetzung des Laufrad Wandkörpers ausgebildet ist.
3. Zentrifugalpumpe nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sich die Mittel, insbesondere als Teil des Laufrades, in Richtung gegen die Einlaufseite der Pumpe hin erstrekken.
4. Zentrifugalpumpe nach Patentanspruch, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Mittel die Austritts-Schaufelkanäle mindestens teilweise, insbesondere vollständig überdecken.
5. Zentrifugalpumpe nach Unteranspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Bereich des Randendes mindestens annähernd parallel zur Laufradachse verläuft.

With the known centrifugal pumps, in particular circulation pumps for central heating systems, any noise formation during operation makes itself unpleasantly noticeable, since it is particularly noticeable during the night.
The present invention aims to alleviate this drawback. The centrifugal pump according to the invention is characterized in that flow-deflecting means are provided on the wheel circumference or on the housing in the area of the wheel circumference.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention will then be explained using a figure which shows a centrifugal pump in longitudinal section.
The pump housing 1 is equipped with an inlet connection 2, an impeller 3 and a pressure connection 4. The impeller 3 is provided with rotor blades 5 which, together with a rotor disk 9 and a cover disk, define blade channels 7. This impeller disk 9 is provided at its outer end with a bell-shaped edge 11 which deflects the flows emerging from the blade channels 7 in the direction towards the suction side. The free end of the edge runs practically parallel to the pump wheel axis. A drive motor 13 with a shaft 15 is provided for driving the impeller 3.
It is also possible to attach such deflection means to the housing and to have them protrude into the blade channel flow in the area of the impeller circumference.
These deflection means are those which deflect the flow, in particular in the axial direction.
In doing so, the conversion of speed into pressure energy is presumably carried out within the impeller and the deflection means. The flow medium leaves the rotating part of the pump without local pressure fluctuations, which are considered to be the main cause of the whistling noise.

SUBCLAIMS
