Abstract

The watch glass (3) has a ring (3a) applied to its internal surface, so as to form an opaque peripheral zone around the watch glass with reference markings provided on the latter in the form of transparent grid lines (3b) running radially across this opaque peripheral zone. These reference markings cooperate with the hour and minute indicators. The watch has a rotating transparent minutes disc (4) with a minutes hand (4c) marked on the disc (4) as two parallel radial lines which are spaced by a distance equal to the width of the reference markings. The rotating hours disc (5) with a similar hours hand is opaque and replaces the normal watch face.
