Fig. 1 Eine Schrägansicht auf eine zweistufige Lärmschutzwand,
Fig. 3 isometrisch den Aufbau der Wandteile,
Fig. 6 und 7 Querschnitte durch zwei weitere Varianten.

11. Noise protection wall according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the sides of the wall parts facing the noise source are designed to be sound-absorbing.
The invention relates to a noise protection wall made of concrete, stone, plastic or iron surfaces and running horizontally along a noise source.
On roads, highways, busy railway lines, shooting ranges, sports fields, etc. Like. Noise barriers are set up to protect the neighborhood against strong noise emissions. The noise is only weakened on the back of the wall. The noise is not neutralized, but only reflected, which leads to unpleasant side effects. It has already been proposed to make the walls themselves sound-absorbing, i.e. H. to loosen up their surface in such a way that the sound is not reflected directly and in the same direction. This can be achieved, for example, by drilling holes in the wall or by a rough wall surface.
Another disadvantage of the known noise barriers is that they disfigure the landscape due to their large area.
The aim of the invention is a pleasing and effective noise protection wall with a simple structure.
This is achieved with a noise protection wall, which is characterized according to the invention by at least two approximately vertical wall parts arranged at different heights, the upper and lower edges of which are separated in steps by horizontal, planted earth or humus borders.
The stepped structure and the planting of the wall provide additional noise protection compared to a flat wall, especially since the sound waves are broken on the plants. In addition, the stepped, planted wall offers a landscape enrichment compared to the large, monotonous walls.
Various exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown in the drawing.
Show it
Fig. 1 An oblique view of a two-stage noise barrier,
2 shows a similar oblique view of an embodiment variant,
3 isometric view of the structure of the wall parts,
4 shows a cross section through the noise protection wall according to FIG. 1, which is set up on one level, and an embodiment variant,
5 shows a cross-section through a noise protection wall which is arranged on an embankment,
6 and 7 cross sections through two further variants.
The step-like arrangement with vertically standing wall parts 7, 8 and 9 and the horizontally lying, planted borders 6. In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, the individual wall parts 7, 8 can be seen from FIGS. 1, 2, 4 to 7 with the variants and 9 offset by transverse walls 5 also in their longitudinal direction, which gives a pleasing picture.
The wall parts consist of prefabricated individual elements that are assembled on site to form an entire wall.
The structure of the actual wall can be seen in FIG. 3. On the strip foundation 1 made of concrete or plastic is the lowermost wall part 7, which has a U-shape with the two legs 70 in the top view.
This wall part is especially suitable for the construction of a protective wall on an embankment (Fig. 5). If the protective wall is built in the plane (FIGS. 4, 6 and 7), the lowermost wall part can have a square cross-section and have two strip foundations which run transversely or longitudinally to the direction of extension of the wall.
On the two legs 70 of the lowermost wall part 7, the middle wall part 8 of square shape is placed with its side walls in a top view. This wall part is at least one border width narrower than the wall part 7.
The uppermost wall part 9 consists of a plate which engages in grooves 89 in the side walls of the middle wall part 8.
After or during the construction of the wall, the wall parts 7 and 8 are filled with earth and humus, so that plantable borders 6 are created.
Reinforced concrete, stone, plastic, iron and the like are suitable as building materials for the wall elements. Like. Construction strength and length of the elements are to be adapted to the circumstances.
The individual elements can be anchored with a mandrel or by gluing. The butt joints between the individual elements are grouted with a permanently elastic putty or with plastic-modified mortar.
When planting, the environmental factors must be taken into account, i. H. plants that are resistant to exhaust gases and salt water must be used.
An additional reduction in sound reflection can
can be achieved in that the surface of the noise-repellent walls is designed to be sound-absorbing in a known manner.
Of course, the noise protection wall can be adapted to the external conditions without falling outside the scope of the invention with the step-like subdivision.
4 to 7 show some possible variants. In Fig. 4 a symmetrical three-story structure is shown, which is suitable for installation in the plane. 2 indicates the ground, 3 indicates the guardrail and 4 indicates a motorway. Instead of a wall in the top step, the two top steps can be combined and replaced by one or two walls 90.
As already mentioned, FIG. 5 shows a noise protection wall on an embankment 20 with a connection to the crash barrier 3 and the motorway 4.
If there is little lateral space on a motorway, the noise protection wall, as shown in FIG. 6, can only be stepped on one side.
On the rear wall 78, for example, trellis trees can be planted for concealment.
Fig. 7 shows the simplest structure of a single-stage noise barrier.
