4. Masse nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass n = 1 ist und Rl eine Gruppe der Formel:

5. Masse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie die Verbindung der Formel I in einer Menge von 0,01 bis 5,0 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des synthetischen Polymers, enthält.
6. Masse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polymer ein Olefinpolymerisat ist.
7. Masse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polymer ein Vinylchloridpolymerisat, ein Vinylidenchloridpolymerisat, ein Polyacetal, ein Polyester, ein Polyamid, ein Polyurethan oder ein Epoxyharz ist.
8. Masse nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindung der Formel I 1 -(2-Stearoyloxyäthyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin, 1 ,6-Bis-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpipendino)4exan Bis-[2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpipendino)-äthyl]-succinat, Bis-[2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino)- äthyl]-1,10-decandicarboxylat oder Bis-[2-(2 ,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino) - äthyl]-terephthalat ist.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Masse, in der ein synthetisches Polymer mit Hilfe eines in 1-Stellung substituierten Piperidinderivates gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Licht und Wärme stabilisiert ist.
Bestimmte Verbindungen der Formel:

worin n 1 oder 2 bedeutet, wobei X für n = 1 niederes Alkyl, Allyl, Propargyl, Benzyl, Äthoxycarbonylmethyl, 2-Hydroxy äthyl, 2-Hydroxypropyl, 2-Hydroxy-2-phenyläthyl, 2-Acyloxy äthyl, 2-Acyloxy-2-phenyläthyl, Acetyl oder Methoxycarbonyl darstellt und X für n = 2 Hexamethylen ist, sind beispielsweise in J. Pharmacol. 13, 501-520 (1958), J. Med. Chem. 6, 381-384 (1963), J. Orig. Chem. 27, 1695-1703 (1962), C. A. 62 9098h, Beilstein 20, 129 und den GB-PS Nr. 834 290 und 1143 371 beschrieben, wobei in erster Linie ihre Verwendbarkeit als Pharmazeutica erwähnt ist. Die Stabilisierungswirkung dieser Verbindungen auf polymere Materialien war noch unbekannt. In der japanischen Patentveröffentlichung Nr. 46-31733 ist die Verbindung der obigen Formel, worin X Wasserstoff darstellt, d. h. 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidin, als Lichtstabilisator für Polyolefine beschrieben.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass Piperidinderivate mit einem Substituenten in der 1-Stellung polymeren Materialien eine unerwartet hohe Beständigkeit, insbesondere gegen Abbau unter dem Einfluss von Licht und Wärme, verleihen. Überdies haben die genannten Piperidinderivate die für einen Stabilisator auf diesem Gebiet erforderlichen Eigenschaften.
Die Erfindung bezieht sich somit auf eine Masse, in der ein synthetisches Polymer gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Licht und Wärme dadurch stabilisiert ist, dass die Masse als Stabilisator mindestens ein Piperidinderivat der Formel:

Die obigen Reaktionen A, D und E, bei denen ein Halogenwasserstoff abgespalten wird, können erforderlichenfalls in Gegenwart von säurebindenden Mitteln ausgeführt werden.
Diese säurebindenden Mittel können anorganische oder organische Basen sein, aber auch ein Überschuss der als Ausgangsmaterialien verwendeten Amine kann als säurebindendes Mittel dienen.
Die Reaktion wird zweckmässig durch Erhitzen der Reaktionsteilnehmer in Gegenwart oder Abwesenheit eines inerten Lösungsmittels ausgeführt.
Die obige Umesterungsreaktion B kann in Gegenwart eines Katalysators, wie eines Alkalimetallalkoholates, Alkalimetallamides oder Alkalimetallhydroxydes, unter Erhitzen ausgeführt werden; die in situ gebildeten Alkohole werden vorzugsweise aus dem Reaktionsgemisch entfernt.
Die Verbindungen der obigen Formel I verleihen synthetischen Polymeren eine ausserordentlich hohe Beständigkeit gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Wärme und Licht. Überdies wird diese verbesserte Beständigkeit erzielt, ohne dass die Farbeigenschaften der synthetischen Polymeren beeinträchtigt werden und ohne dass andere Lichtschutzmittel, Stabilisatoren, Weichmacher, Pigmente, insbesondere organische Pigmente, usw., die gegebenenfalls zugesetzt werden können, beeinflusst werden.
Beispiele von synthetischen Polymeren, die durch die Verbindungen der Formel I gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Licht und/oder Wärme stabilisiert werden kön nen, sind Olefinpolymerisate, insbesondere Polyäthylen mit niedriger und hoher Dichte, Polypropylen, Polystyrol, Polybutadien, Polyisopren, andere Olefinhomopolymerisate, Äthylen Propylen-Copolymerisate, Äthylen-Buten-Copolymerisate, Äthylen-Vinylacetat-Copolymerisate, Styrol-Butadien-Copolymerisate, Acrylnitril-Styrol-Butadien-Copolymerisate und andere Copolymerisate von anderen äthylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren mit Olefinen, Polymerisate von Vinylchlorid und Vinylidenchlorid, insbesondere Homopolymerisate von Vinylchlorid, Homopolymerisate von Vinylidenchlorid, Copolymerisate von Vinylchlorid mit Vinylidenchlorid, Copolymerisate von Vinylchlorid bzw.
Vinylidenchlorid mit Vinylacetat oder anderen äthylenisch ungesättigten Monomeren, Polyacetale, insbesondere Polyoxymethylen und Polyoxyäthylen, Polyester, insbesondere Polyäthylenterephthalat, Polyamide, z.B. Polyamide mit Amidgruppen in der wiederkehrenden Einheit der Hauptkette, insbesondere 6-Nylon, 6,6-Nylon und 6,10-Nylon, Polyurethane, insbesondere Polyätherurethane und Polyesterurethane, und Epoxyharze, insbesondere Reaktionsprodukte von Epichlorhydrin mit Polyphenolen.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I eignen sich hervorragend für die Stabilisierung von Fasern, Folien mit verschiedener Dicke, anderen Formkörpern, Latex, Schaumstoffen und Anstrichfarben, die die oben genannten Polymeren enthalten.
Die Menge der Verbindungen der Formel 1, die einem Polymeren zur Erzielung der höchsten möglichen Schutzwirkung gegen durch Licht und Wärme verursachte Verschlechterung zugesetzt werden kann, hängt von den Eigenschaften der zu behandelnden Substanz, der Intensität der Lichtstrahlung und der Länge der Einwirkungszeit ab. Im allgemeinen werden die Verbindungen der Formel I aber in Mengen im Bereich von 0,01 bis 5 Gew.-%, vorteilhaft 0,1 bis 2 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des unbehandelten Polymeren, verwendet.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I können in ein Polymer nach beliebigen bekannten Verfahren zum Mischen von Additiven mit Polymeren einverleibt werden. Z.B. können die obigen Verbindungen und das Polymer in einem Innenmischer gemischt werden. Die obigen Verbindungen können auch als Lösung oder Aufschlämmung in einem geeigneten Lösungsmittel oder Dispersionsmittel, z.B. einem inerten organischen Lösungsmittel, wie Methanol, Äthanol oder Aceton, zu dem gepulverten Polymer zugegeben und das Ganze innig in einem Mischer gemischt werden. Eine weitere Alternative besteht darin, die obigen Verbindungen während der Herstellung des Polymeren zuzusetzen, z.B. in der Latexstufe der Polymererzeugung, um ein vorstabilisiertes Polymer herzustellen.
Gegebenenfalls können die Massen gemäss der Erfindung ein oder mehrere andere Additive enthalten, insbesondere die in Formulierungen von Polymeren verwendeten Additive, wie Antioxydantien des Phenol- oder Amintyps und Lichtschutzmittel, Phosphitstabilisatoren, Peroxydzersetzungsmittel, Polyamidstabilisatoren, basische Costabilisatoren, Polyvinylchloridstabilisatoren, I(eimbildner, Weichmacher, Gleitmittel, Emulgatoren, antistatische Mittel, Flammschutzmittel, Pigmente, Russ, Asbest, Glasfasern, Kaolin und Talkum.
Die vorliegende Erfindung umfasst somit binäre, tertiäre und Mehrkomponentenmassen, die die Stabilisatoren der Formel I zusammen mit einem oder mehreren anderen Additiven für Polymere enthalten können.
Im folgenden werden Beispiele für die oben genannten Additive aufgeführt.
Besonders binäre Kombinationen von Verbindungen der Formel I mit den im folgenden angegebenen Beispielen von Antioxydantien verleihen Polyolefinen eine ausserordentlich grosse Stabilität.
1. Antioxydantien
1.1. Einfache 2,6-Dialkylphenole, wie beispielsweise 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-4-methylphenol, 2-tert.-Butyl-4,6-dimethylphenol, 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-4-methoxy-methylphenol und 2,6-Dioctadecyl-4-methylphenol.
1.2. Derivate von alkylierten Hydrochinonen, wie beispielsweise 2,5-Di-tert.-butylhydrochinon, 2,5-Di-tert.-amylhydrochinon, 2,6-Di-tert.-butyl-hydrochinon, 2,5-Di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyanisol, 3,5-Di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyanisol, Tris-(3 ,5-Di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-phosphit, 3,5 -Di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenylstearat und Bis-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-adipat.
1.3 Hydroxylierte Thiodiphenyläther, wie beispielsweise 2,2'-Thiobis-(6-tert.-butyl-4-methylphenol), 2,2'-Thiobis-(4-octylphenol), 4,4'-Thiobis-(6-tert.-butyl-3-methylphenol), 4,4'-Thiobis-(3 ,6-di-sek.-amylphenol), 4,4'-Thiobis-(6-tert.-butyl-2-methylphenol) und 4,4'-Bis-(2,6-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-disulfid.
1.4. Alkyliden-bisphenole, wie beispielsweise 2,2' Methylen-bis-(6-tert.-butyl-4-methylphenol), 2,2'-Methylen-bis-(6-tert.-butyl-4-äthylphenol), 4,4'-Methylen-bis-(6-tert.-butyl-2-methylphenol), 4,4'-Methylen-bis-(2,6-di-tert.-butylphenol), 2,6-Bis-(3-tert.-butyl-5-methyl 2-hydroxybenzyl)-4-methyl-phenol, 2,2'-Methylen-bis-[4-methyl-6-( a-methyl-cydohexyl)-phenol], 1,1 -Bis-(3,5-dimethyl-2-hydroxyphenyl)-butan, 1,1 -Bis-(5-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxy-2-methylphenyl)-butan, 2,2-Bis-(5-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxy- 2-methylphenyl) -butan, 2,2-Bis-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propan,

1.7. Hydroxybenzylderivate aromatischer Verbindungen, wie beispielsweise 1 ,3,5-Tris-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4- hydroxybenzyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzol, 1 ,4-Bis-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)- 2,3,5,6-tetramethylbenzol und 2,4,6-Tris (3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)-phenol.

3. Phosphite, wie beispielsweise Triphenylphosphit, Diphenylalkylphosphite, Phenyldialkylphosphite, Trinonylphenylphosphit, Trilaurylphosphit, Trioctadecylphosphit, 3,9-Diisodecyloxy-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphospha- spiro-[5,5]-undecan und Tris-(4-hydroxy-3.5-di-tert.- butylphenyl)-phosphit.
4. Verbindungen, die Peroxyde zersetzen, wie beispielsweise Ester der ss-Thiodipropionsäure, z.B. der Lauryl-, Stearyl-. Myrystyl- oder Tridecylester, Salze des 2-Mercaptobenzimidazols, z.B. das Zinksalz, und Diphenylthioharnstoff.
5. Polyamidstabilisatoren, wie beispielsweise Kupfersalze in Kombination mit Jodiden und/oder Phosphorverbindungen sowie Salze des zweiwertigen Mangans.

Basische Costabilisatoren, wie beispielsweise Polyvinylpyrrolidon, Melamin, Benzoguanamin, Triallylcyanurat, Dicyandiamid, Harnstoffderivate, Hydrazinderivate, Amine, Polyamide, Polyurethane und Alkalimetallsalze sowie Erdalkalimetallsalze von höheren gesättigten oder ungesättigten Fettsäuren, z. B. Calciumstearat, Magnesiumlaurat, Natriumricinoleat, Kaliumpalmitat und Zinkstearat.
7. PVC-Stabilisatoren, wie beispielsweise organische Zinnverbindungen, organische Bleiverbindungen und Barium/ Cadmiumsalze von Fettsäuren.
8. Keimbildner, wie beispielsweise 4-tert.-Butylbenzoe- säure, Adipinsäure und Diphenylessigsäure.
Die folgenden Beispiele und Herstellungen erläutern die Erfindung.
Die Beispiele 1 bis 7 beschreiben die Stabilisierung der erfindungsgemässen Massen gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Licht und Wärme. Die Herstellungen 1 bis 6 beschreiben die Herstellung von erfindungsgemäss verwende- ten Stabilisatoren.
Teile und Prozente beziehen sich auf das Gewicht, wenn nichts anderes angegeben ist. Die Stabilisatoren sind mit den Nummern bezeichnet, die in der weiter oben angegebenen Liste aufgeführt sind. Tinuvin-327 und Tinuvin P , die gleichzeitig zu Vergleichszwecken getestet wurden, sind Markenprodukte der Firma Ciba-Geigy Co., Ltd.

Beispiel 1
1000 Teile Polypropylenpulver mit dem Schmelzindex 20 (230 C, 2160 g) werden in einem Brabender-Kneter bei 200 C mit 2 Teilen ss-(3,5-Di-tert.-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)-propion- säureoctadecylester und 5 bzw. 2,5 Teilen der in der folgenden Tabelle I angegebenen Lichtstabilisatoren gemischt.
Das auf diese Weise homogenisierte Gemisch wird aus dem Kneter entnommen und mit Hilfe einer Knebelpresse zu Folien mit einer Dicke von 2 bis 3 mm vorgepresst; diese werden anschliessend in einer auf 2600C erhitzten Plattenpresse unter Verwendung geeigneter Formwerkzeuge zuerst zu Folien mit einer Dicke von 0,3 mm und in einer weiteren Verfahrensstufe zu Folien mit einer Dicke von 0,1 mm verarbeitet.
Die auf diese Weise hergestellten Folien werden 1 Stunde lang auf 1500C erhitzt, während man verhindert, dass sie sich unter 1500C abkühlen, und sofort danach in Wasser von 15oC abgeschreckt. Die in dieser Weise hergestellten Folien zeigen eine homogene, feine sphärolithische Struktur. Daraus ausge stanzte Testproben zeigen eine Bruchdehnung von annähernd 900%.
Die so hergestellten Polypropylenfolien werden in Probenträger montiert und in einem Xeno-150-Testgerät belichtet.
Nach verschiedenen Zeiten werden Folienstücke entfernt; es werden auf einmal 5 Testproben ausgestanzt, deren restliche Bruchdehnung bestimmt wird. Die Belichtungszeit, nach der die Bruchdehnung der Folien auf 50% des Wertes vor der Belichtung abgenommen hat, wird als Mass für die Schutzwir: kung der einzelnen Lichtschutzmittel angesehen. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle I zusammengefasst.

In 100 Teile Polypropylen ( Noblen JHH-G , Markenprodukt der Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals Inc.), das zweimal aus Monochlorbenzol umkristallisiert wurde, wurde 0,25 Teil der Stabilisatoren der Formel I einverleibt; das resultierende Gemisch wurde gemischt und geschmolzen und dann unter Erhitzen zu einer Folie mit einer Dicke von 0,5 mm verformt.
Die Folie wurde bei 45OC in einem Fade-Meter mit ultravioletter Strahlung bestrahlt; die Zeit, die verfloss, bis die Folie spröde wurde, wurde bestimmt. Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle II wiedergegeben.
Beispiel 3
100 Teile Polyäthylen mit hoher Dichte ( Hi-Zex , Markenprodukt der Mitsui Chemicals Inc.), das zweimal aus Toluol umkristallisiert wurde, wurden mit 0,25 Teil der Stabilisatoren der Formel I versetzt, worauf das resultierende Gemisch gemischt und geschmolzen und dann unter Erhitzen und unter der Einwirkung von Druck zu einer Folie mit einer Dicke von 0,5 mm verformt wurde.
Die Folie wurde bei 45OC in einem Fade-Meter mit ultravioletter Strahlung bestrahlt, wobei die Zeit bestimmt wurde, die verfloss, bis die Folie spröde wurde.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle II wiedergegeben.

In 100 Teile Polystyrol ( Styron , Markenprodukt der Asahi-Dow Limited), umkristallisiert aus einem Gemisch aus Benzol und Methanol, wurde 0,25 Teil der Stabilisatoren der Formel 1 einverleibt.
Das resultierende Gemisch wurde bei 180"C unter Druck zu einer Platte mit einer Dicke von 1 mm verformt. Die Platte wurde in einem Fade-Meter bei 45OC 500 Stunden lang mit ultravioletter Strahlung bestrahlt. Danach wurde das Teststück mit Hilfe eines Farbdifferenzkolorimeters gemäss der Transmissionsmethode, die in der japanischen Industrienorm K 7103 vorgeschrieben ist, untersucht, worauf die Veränderung des Vergilbungsindex nach folgender Gleichung bestimmt wurde: bYI= YI-YIo worin AYI die Veränderung des Vergilbungsindex bedeutet, YI den Vergilbungsindex nach der Belichtung darstellt und YIo der anfängliche Vergilbungsindex des Teststückes ist.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle m wiedergegeben.

In 100 Teile ABS-Polymerisat ( Kane-Ace B-12 , Markenprodukt der Kanegafuchi Chemical Industries Ltd.) wurde 0,5 Teil der Stabilisatoren der Formel I einverleibt, worauf das resultierende Gemisch zu einer Folie mit einer Dicke von ca.
0,5 mm verformt wurde, indem man es bei 1600C 6 Minuten lang auf einer Knetwalze knetete.
Die Folie wurde in einem Sunshine-Weather-Meter 50 Stunden lang belichtet, worauf die Retention der Bruchdehnung und die Retention der Zugfestigkeit mit Hilfe eines
Zugversuches bestimmt wurden.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle IV zusammengefasst.

In 100 Teile 6-Nylon ( CM 1011 , Markenprodukt der Toray Industries Corp.) wurde 0,25 Teile der Stabilisatoren der Formel I einverleibt. Das resultierende Gemisch wurde durch Erhitzen geschmolzen und in einer Formpressmaschine zu einer Folie mit einer Dicke von ca. 0,1 mm verformt.
Die Folie wurde unter den unten angegebenen Alterungsbedingungen gealtert und einem Zugversuch unterworfen, um die Retention der Bruchdehnung und die Retention der Zugfestigkeit zu bestimmen.
Alterungsbedingungen (1) 200-stündige Belichtung mit ultravioletten Strahlen in einem Fade-Meter bei 450C.
(2) 2-stündige Alterung unter Erhitzen auf 1600C in einem Alterungsprüfgerät nach Geer.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle V wiedergegeben.

In 100 Teile eines Polyurethanharzes von Polycaprolactontyp ( E-5080 , Markenprodukt der Nippon Elastollan Co., Ltd.) wurde 0,5 Teil der Stabilisatoren der Formel I einverleibt, worauf das resultierende Gemisch durch Erhitzen geschmolzen und zu einer Folie mit einer Dicke von ca.
0,5 mm verformt wurde.
Die Folie wurde in einem Fade-Meter bei 45 C 15 Stunden lang mit ultravioletter Strahlung bestrahlt und dann einem Zugversuch unterworfen, um die Retention der Bruchdehnung und die Retention der Zugfestigkeit zu bestimmen.
Die Ergebnisse sind in Tabelle VI wiedergegeben.

Herstellung 1 1 -Octyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin
Ein Gemisch aus 56,4 Teilen 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidin und 38,6 Teilen 1-Bromoctan wurde 120 Stunden lang auf 125 bis 1300C erhitzt. Das abgekühlte Reaktionsgemisch wurde filtriert, um das während der Reaktion gebildete 2,2,6,6 Tetramethylpiperidinhydrobromid zu entfernen. Durch fraktionierte Destillation des Filtrates erhielt man 1-n-Octyl2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin mit einem Siedepunkt von 168 C bei 17 mm Quecksilbersäule.
Wenn man anstelle von 1-Bromoctan eine äquivalente Menge 1-Bromdodecan oder Chloressigsäureäthylester verwendet und im übrigen die gleiche Verfahrensweise befolgt, werden die folgenden Produkte erhalten: 1-n-Dodecyl-2,2,6,6tetramethylpiperidin vom Siedepunkt 215"C bei 0,004 mm Quecksilbersäule und 1 -Äthoxycarbonylmethyl-2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidin vom Siedepunkt 129 bis 1300C bei 13 mm Quecksilbersäule.
Herstellung 2 1 -Octoxycarbonylmethyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin
Ein Gemisch aus 45,4 Teilen 1-Äthoxycarbonylmethyl 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin, 36,5 Teilen 1-Octanol und 0,5 Teil Lithiumamid wurde 48 Stunden lang auf 110 bis 115 C erhitzt, wobei der während der Reaktion gebildete Äthylalkohol durch Destillation entfernt wurde. Durch fraktionierte Destillation des Reaktionsgemisches erhielt man 1-Octoxycarbonylmethyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin mit einem Siedepunkt von 1200C bei 0,005 mm Quecksilbersäule.
Herstellung 3
1 -(2-Stearoyloxyäthyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin
Eine Lösung von 26 g (0,092 Mol) 1-(2-Hydroxyäthyl)2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin in 30 g Chloroform wurde unter Kühlen mit trockenem Chlorwasserstoffgas gesättigt. Eine Lösung von 27,9 g (0,092 Mol) Stearoylchlorid in 30 g Chloroform wurde zugesetzt und das Reaktionsgemisch 12 Stunden lang zum Rückfluss erhitzt. Das Chloroform wurde im Vakuum entfernt und der zurückbleibende Sirup mit überschüssiger 10%iger Natriumcarbonatlösung behandelt. Das Öl wurde mit Benzol extrahiert und getrocknet, indem man das Benzol im Vakuum entfernte. Durch Chromatographie über Kieselgel erhielt man eine Fraktion vom Schmelzpunkt 30"C (25 g, Ausbeute 50%).
Das magnetische Kernresonanzspektrum bestätigte die Struktur des erhaltenen 1-(2-Stearoyloxy äthyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidins.
Herstellung 4
1 -(2-Stearoyloxy-2-phenyläthyl)-2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidin
In ähnlicher Weise wie in Herstellung 3, aber unter Verwendung von 1-(2-Hydroxy-2-phenyläthyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpi- peridin anstelle von l-(2-Hydroxyäthyi) 1-(2-Hydroxyäthyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpi- peridin, wurde nach Chromatographie über eine Kieselgelsäule ein flüssiges Material erhalten, das sich durch magnetische Kernresonanzspektroskopie und durch Elementaranalyse als praktisch reines 1-(2-Stearoyloxy-2-phenyläthyl)-2,2,6,6- tetramethylpiperidin erwies.

Herstellung 5 Bis-2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino)-äthylsuccinat
Eine Lösung von 18,4 g (0,1 Mol) 1-(2-Hydroxy thyl)- 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin in 30 g Chloroform wurde unter Kühlen mit trockenem Chlorwasserstoffgas gesättigt. Eine Lösung von 7,5 g (0,049 Mol) Succinoylchlorid in 30 g Chloroform wurde zugesetzt und das Reaktionsgemisch 15 Stunden lang unter einem Rückflusskühler erhitzt.
Das Gemisch wurde dann mit drei Portionen von 10 %aber Natriumcarbonatlösung und mit Wasser gewaschen, über wasserfreiem Natriumsulfat getrocknet und eingedampft, wobei ein Rückstand zurückblieb, der nach Kristallisation aus Äthanol 18 g (80%) reines Bis-2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino)-äthylsuccinat vom Schmelzpunkt 77 bis 780C ergab.
Herstellung 6 1 -Formyl-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin
Ein Gemisch aus 5,0 g 2,2,6,6-Tetramethylpiperidin-ptoluolsulfonat, 70 g Orthoameisensäureäthylester und 15 ml Dimethylformamid wurde 3 Stunden lang zum Rückfluss erhitzt. Nach Beendigung der Umsetzung wurden der überschüssige Orthoameisensäureäthylester und das Dimethylformamid unter vermindertem Druck abdestilliert, worauf die resultierenden Kristalle abfiltriert und mit Äther gewaschen wurden. Das Filtrat und die Waschflüssigkeit wurden vereinigt und mit wässriger Natriumhydrogencarbonatlösung und Wasser gewaschen. Nach dem Trocknen über wasserfreiem Magnesiumsulfat und dem Verdampfen des Lösungsmittels wurden 5,4 g eines Rückstandes erhalten.
Durch Säulenchromatographie des Rückstandes unter Verwendung von Kieselgel und einem Gemisch aus Benzol und Äthylacetat im Verhältnis 10:1 als Eluierungsmittel und weitere Reinigung durch Sublimation erhielt man das reine gewünschte Produkt vom Schmelzpunkt 51,5 bis 52,5ob.

- PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Masse, in der ein synthetisches Polymer gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Licht und Wärme stabilisiert ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie als Stabilisator mindestens ein Piperidinderivat der Formel: EMI1.1 enthält, worin n = 1 ist und Rl Alkyl mit 1 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkenyl mit 3 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkinyl mit 3 oder 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, am Phenylrest gegebenenfalls durch 1 bis 3 gleiche oder verschiedene, aus Chloratomen, Alkylgruppen mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkoxygruppen mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen und Hydroxylgruppen gewählte Substituenten substituiertes Benzyl;Phenyläthyl, 2,3-Epoxypropyl, eine Gruppe der Formel -CH2-CO-O-R2, eine Gruppe der Formel: EMI1.2 oder eine Gruppe der Formel - CO - R6 bedeutet, wobei R2 Alkyl mit 1 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkenyl mit 3 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, Phenyl, Benzyl, Cyclohexyl oder 2,3 Epoxypropyl darstellt, R3 Wasserstoff, Methyl oder Phenyl bedeutet, R4 Hydroxyl oder eine Gruppe der Formel -O- COR5 darstellt, Rs Alkyl mit 1 bis 17 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkenyl mit 2 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, eine gegebenenfalls durch 1 bis 3 gleiche oder verschiedene, aus Chloratomen, Alkylgruppen mit 1 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkoxygruppen mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen und Hydroxylgruppen gewählte Substituenten substituierte Phenylgruppe, Benzyl, 3,5-Di-tert.butyl-4-hydroxyphenyläthyl, Styryl oder Cyclohexyl bedeutet und R6 Wasserstoff,Methyl, Alkenyl mit 2 oder 3 Kohlenstoffatomen, Alkoxy mit 1 bis 8 Kohlenstoffatomen, Benzyloxy oder Phenoxy darstellt, oder worin n = 2 ist und Rl Alkylen mit 1 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen, dessen Kohlenstoffgerüst gegebenenfalls durch ein Äthersauerstoffatom unterbrochen ist, 2-Butenylen, eine Gruppe der Formel -CH2CO - 0 - R7 - 0 - COCH2 - oder eine Gruppe der Formel -CH2 - CH2 -0 - CO - (R8)rn - CO - O- CH- CH-- bedeutet, wobei R7 Alkylen mit 2 bis 6 Kohlenstoffatomen oder Xylylen darstellt, m = 0 oder 1 ist und Rs Alkylen mit 1 bis 10 Kohlenstoffatomen, dessen Kohlenstoffgerüst gegebenenfalls durch ein Ätherschwefelatom unterbrochen ist, Alkenylen mit 2 bis 4 Kohlenstoffatomen, Phenylen oder 1 ,4-Cyclohexylen bedeutet.2. Masse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie die Verbindung der Formel I in einer Menge von 0,01 bis 5,0 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Gewicht des synthetischen Polymers, enthält.6. Masse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polymer ein Olefinpolymerisat ist.7. Masse nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Polymer ein Vinylchloridpolymerisat, ein Vinylidenchloridpolymerisat, ein Polyacetal, ein Polyester, ein Polyamid, ein Polyurethan oder ein Epoxyharz ist.8. Masse nach Anspruch 1 oder einem der Ansprüche 5 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Verbindung der Formel I 1 -(2-Stearoyloxyäthyl)-2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidin, 1 ,6-Bis-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpipendino)4exan Bis-[2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpipendino)-äthyl]-succinat, Bis-[2-(2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino)- äthyl]-1,10-decandicarboxylat oder Bis-[2-(2 ,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidino) - äthyl]-terephthalat ist.Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Masse, in der ein synthetisches Polymer mit Hilfe eines in 1-Stellung substituierten Piperidinderivates gegen Verschlechterung unter dem Einfluss von Licht und Wärme stabilisiert ist.Bestimmte Verbindungen der Formel: EMI1.5 **WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld konnte Anfang DESC uberlappen**.
