Abstract

The folding box has a rectangular outer surface (1). The corners of the lid (2) protruding into the outer surface of the box are each provided with a sealing clamping rib (10), which clamping ribs engage in the gaps (11) between the tabs (5,6) bent over and bonded on the lid side.    PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Faltschachtel mit Deckel und rechteckigem Schachtelmantel, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die in den Schachtelmantel   1)    hineinragenden Ecken des Deckels (2) mit je einer dichtenden   Klemmrippe (10)    versehen sind.



   2. Faltschachtel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel (2) aus Kunststoff besteht.



   3. Faltschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schachtelmantel (1) aus Karton oder Wellpappe besteht und deckelseitig umgelegte und verklebte Lappen (5, 6) aufweist, in deren Spalten (11) an den Ecken die   Klemmrippen ( 10)    greifen.



   4. Faltschachtel nach Anspruch 1 oder   5    dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Schachtelmantel aus Karton besteht und eine Einlage aufweist.



   5. Faltschachtel nach einem der Ansprüche 1-4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Deckel an seiner Schmalseite Nokken   12)    aufweist, die in Aussparungen (13) im Innern des Schachtelmantels (1) eingreifen.



   Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Faltschachtel mit Deckel und rechteckigem Schachtelmantel.



   Bei der Verwendung von Schachteln oder allgemein von Behältern für den Transport und den Gebrauch von pulverförmigen Gütern, wie beispielsweise Waschpulver, ergeben sich einerseits technische Probleme bezüglich des Abdichtens und der Stabilität der Behälter und andererseits spielen wirtschaftliche Aspekte, wie der Herstellungspreis, Transport und Stapeln der leeren Behälter eine sehr grosse Rolle, während der ästhetische Aspekt auch nicht zu vernachlässigen ist. Es sind bereits eine Vielzahl von verschiedenen Behältern zur Aufbewahrung von pulverförmigen Gütern bekannt. So sind gewickelte Trommeln bekannt, runde oder   abgeflachte,j    doch mit abgerundeten Ecken, mit einem Karton- oder Kunststoffdeckel.

  Diese Trommeln sind wohl stabil, aber in der Herstellung relativ teuer und weisen insbesondere den Nachteil auf, dass sie beim Transport und Stapeln im leeren Zustand verhältnismässig viel Platz beanspruchen.



   Um Platz beim Transport und Stapeln der leeren Behälter zu sparen, werden häufig Faltschachteln, vorwiegend mit eingeklebter Einlage, verwendet, die erst vor dem Einfüllen durch boden- und deckenseitiges Verkleben aufgerichtet werden. So ist eine Faltschachtel bekannt, deren Deckelteil einstückig mit dem übrigen Schachtelmantel hergestellt ist und zum Verschliessen über den Schachtelmantel greift. Dieser Deckelteil ist arbeitsintensiv und erfordert neben dem grossen Materialanteil einen zusätzlichen Arbeitsgang beim Verkleben vor dem Einfüllen und diese Schachtel weist eine geringere Stapelfähigkeit als die Trommeln auf.



   Es ist demgegenüber Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung, eine Faltschachtel anzugeben, die wirtschaftlich hergestellt und maschinell abgepackt werden kann, und die eine gute Stapelfähigkeit aufweist.



   Diese Aufgabe wird durch eine Faltschachtel mit Deckel gelöst, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die in den Schachtelmantel hineinragenden Ecken des Deckels mit je einer dichtenden Klemmrippe versehen sind. In einer bevorzugten Ausführung besteht der Deckel aus Kunststoff. Die Erfindung wird nun anhand einer Zeichnung zweier Ausführungsbeispie   le näher erläutert.

Fig. 5 zeigt, im Schnitt, eine Ecke des Schachtelmantels von Fig. 1.



   In der Zeichnung ist eine erste Ausführungsvariante der erfindungsgemässen Faltschachtel gezeigt, wobei der Schachtelmantel aus Karton oder Wellpappe und der Deckel aus Kunststoff besteht.



   In Fig. 1 erkennt man den Schachtelmantel 1 und den Deckel 2, wobei der verklebte Schachtelmantel die Breitseiten 3 und die Schmalseiten 4 aufweist, während das nicht gezeigte Bodenstück wie üblich ausgebildet ist und in der Regel vor dem Einfüllen verklebt wird. Durch die Verwendung von geeignetem Karton oder Wellpappe als Material für den Schachtelkörper ist es möglich, wie dies insbesondere aus Fig. 2 hervorgeht, oben an den Schmal- und Breitseiten Lappen 5 bzw.



  6 anzubringen und diese nach innen zu biegen und dort anzukleben.



   Durch diese Verdoppelung der Wandstärke im oberen Teil der Verpackung wird die notwendige Stabilität erreicht und gleichzeitig eine Verstärkung der Verankerungspunkte für die Traggriffnieten gebildet.



   Damit die nach innen in den Schachtelmantel gebogenen und angeklebten Lappen das Flachliegen der Verpackung im Anlieferungszustand nicht verhindern (Versperren in den Verpackungsecken), werden dieselben in allen vier Ecken ausgespart. In den dadurch entstandenen Spalten verkeilen sich die Klemmrippen des nachfolgend beschriebenen Deckels.



   Der Deckel 2 weist ein glattes Mittelteil 7 und einen U-förmigen Verschlussteil 8 auf, wobei am inneren Schenkel ringsherum Verstärkungsrippen 9 angebracht sind. Die in den Schachtelmantel hineingreifenden Kanten des Deckels sind als Klemm- und Dichtungsrippe 10 ausgebildet, wie dies aus der Fig. 3 und insbesondere aus Fig. 5 hervorgeht. Beim Aufsetzen des Deckels greifen diese Klemmrippen 10 in die Spalten 11 zwischen den Innenlappen 5 und 6 der Schmal- und Breitseiten und klemmen dadurch den Deckel auf der Pakkung fest. Zum noch besseren Arretieren des Deckels während dem Verbrauch ist es zweckmässig, an den Schmalseiten des Deckels Nocken 12 anzubringen, die in entsprechende Aussparungen 13 in den Innenlappen 5 der Schmalseiten greifen.



   An den Schmalseiten 4 des Schachtelmantels sind beidseitig durchgehende Tragnieten 14 befestigt, in welche der   Trag-    griff 15 an seinen Schlitzen 16 gesteckt werden kann. Für den Versand wird der Deckel mittels eines Klebstreifens 17 verschlossen.



   In einer zweiten Ausführungsvariante wird der Schachtelkörper wie üblich aus Karton hergestellt, der mit einer Einlage versehen wird, während der Deckel der gleiche wie der oben beschriebene bleibt. Dabei übernehmen die Klemmrippen 10 des Deckels die gleiche Funktion wie beim ersten Ausführungsbeispiel, da das Material in den Faltlinien ausweichen kann. Die Aussparungen 13 werden dann an den Schmalseiten der Einlage angeordnet, während die Tragnieten und das Klebeband gleich wie beim vorgehenden Beispiel bleiben.

 

   Aus obiger Beschreibung geht hervor, dass die erfindungsgemässe Faltschachtel und insbesondere ihr Verschluss   we    sentlich einfacher und wirtschaftlicher hergestellt werden kann, als die herkömmlichen Behälter für pulverförmige Güter, wobei sowohl Material eingespart werden kann als auch das Zusammenkleben vor dem Einfüllen wesentlich einfacher ist, denn es muss nur der Boden verklebt werden.

   When using boxes or containers in general for the transport and use of powdered goods, such as washing powder, there are technical problems on the one hand with regard to the sealing and the stability of the containers and, on the other hand, economic aspects such as the manufacturing price, transport and stacking play empty containers play a very important role, while the aesthetic aspect is also not to be neglected. A large number of different containers for storing powdered goods are already known. Wound drums are known, round or flattened, but with rounded corners, with a cardboard or plastic lid.

  These drums are probably stable, but are relatively expensive to manufacture and have the disadvantage, in particular, that they take up a relatively large amount of space when transported and stacked when empty.



   In order to save space when transporting and stacking the empty containers, folding boxes, mostly with glued-in inserts, are often used, which are only erected before filling by gluing on the floor and ceiling. For example, a folding box is known, the cover part of which is made in one piece with the rest of the box shell and reaches over the box shell for closing. This lid part is labor-intensive and, in addition to the large amount of material, requires an additional operation when gluing before filling, and this box has a lower stacking capacity than the drums.



   In contrast, it is an object of the present invention to provide a folding box which can be produced economically and machine-packed and which has good stackability.



   This object is achieved by a folding box with a lid, which is characterized in that the corners of the lid protruding into the box jacket are each provided with a sealing clamping rib. In a preferred embodiment, the lid is made of plastic. The invention will now be explained with reference to a drawing of two Ausführungsbeispie le.

   In the drawing, a first embodiment variant of the folding box according to the invention is shown, the box jacket consisting of cardboard or corrugated cardboard and the lid made of plastic.



   In Fig. 1 you can see the box shell 1 and the lid 2, wherein the glued box shell has the broad sides 3 and the narrow sides 4, while the bottom piece, not shown, is designed as usual and is usually glued before filling.    This doubling of the wall thickness in the upper part of the packaging achieves the necessary stability and at the same time strengthens the anchoring points for the handle rivets.

   The cover 2 has a smooth middle part 7 and a U-shaped closure part 8, reinforcing ribs 9 being attached all around on the inner leg.    Continuous support rivets 14 are fastened to the narrow sides 4 of the box casing, into which the carrying handle 15 can be inserted at its slots 16. For shipping, the lid is closed by means of an adhesive strip 17.



   In a second embodiment variant, the box body is, as usual, made of cardboard, which is provided with an insert, while the lid remains the same as that described above. The clamping ribs 10 of the lid perform the same function as in the first embodiment, since the material can dodge in the fold lines. The recesses 13 are then arranged on the narrow sides of the insert, while the support rivets and the adhesive tape remain the same as in the previous example.

 

   From the above description it can be seen that the folding box according to the invention and in particular its closure can be manufactured much more simply and economically than the conventional containers for powdered goods, whereby both material can be saved and the gluing together before filling is much easier because it is only the floor has to be glued.
