Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein kosmetisches Mittel mit einem Gehalt an einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel worin R Natrium, Kalium oder Ammonium und X die Zahl 1 oder R Aluminium und X die Zahl 3 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es N-Acetylcystein enthält.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I, die auch in einer tauto-meren Form geschrieben werden können («Thion-Form») sind besonders in Lösungen hoher Verdünnung sehr anfallig gegen oxydative Einflüsse unter Bildung von 2,2'-Dithiodi-pyridin-l,l'-dioxid. Besonders störend im Hinblick auf die Einarbeitung von Verbindungen der Formel I als Wirkstoffe in kosmetische Präparate ist jedoch deren hohe Lichtempfindlichkeit. Die photochemische Zersetzung der Verbindungen der Formel I ist besonders problematisch, da kosmetische Mittel in der Regel vom Verbraucher nicht unter Licht-ausschluss aufbewahrt werden.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass durch N-Acetylcystein die photochemische Zersetzung von Verbindungen der Formel I unterbunden werden kann, obwohl N-Acetylcystein im ganzen Bereich des Sonnenspektrums keine Lichtabsorption aufweist. Die Erfindung betrifft demgemäss ausser den obengenannten kosmetischen Mitteln auch die Verwendung von 40 N-Acetylcystein zur Stabilisierung kosmetischer Mittel, die Verbindungen der Formel I enthalten.
Um die gewünschte Stabilisierung von Verbindungen der Formel I in kosmetischen Präparaten zu erzielen, setzt man zweckmässig die 0,5 bis 8fache Menge, bevorzugt die dop-45 pelte Menge, N-Acetylcystein - bezogen auf die Menge an eingesetzter Verbindung der Formel I - diesen Präparaten zu.
Ein bevorzugtes Anwendungsgebiet von Verbindungen der Formel I in der Kosmetik sind Antischuppenpräparate so sowie ganz allgemein kosmetische Präparate, die eines Konservierungsmittels oder Desinfektionsmittels bedürfen, wie beispielsweise Hautpflegecrèmes, Aftershave-Emulsionen usw. Ein besonders bevorzugtes Anwendungsgebiet ist ein Antischuppenhaarwasser. Ein derartiges erfindungsgemässes 55 Antischuppenhaarwasser enthält bevorzugt eine Verbindung der Formel I, worin R Aluminium und X die Zahl 3 bedeuten, d.h. Aluminiumpyridinthion. In einem solchen Haarwasser ist das Aluminiumpyridinthion in einer Menge von 0,005-0,2%, bevorzugt 0,05-0,2%, enthalten. Das 60 Aluminiumpyridinthion ist in Äthanol/Wasser (75: 25) bis zu 0,7% löslich; es lassen sich jedoch auch übersättigte Lösungen mit beispielsweise bis zu 2,5% herstellen. Ein derartiges Präparat enthält 0,01-0,4%, vorzugsweise 0,1-0,4% N-Acetylcystein, wobei jedoch die obere Grenze auch-je 65 nach Bedürfnis - 1 % oder mehr betragen kann.
Die Wirkung des N-Acetylcysteins im Hinblick auf eine Unterbindung der photochemischen Zersetzung geht aus folgenden experimentellen Befunden hervor:

Claims (10)

  1. 632668
    PATENTANSPRÜCHE 1. Kosmetisches Mittel mit einem Gehalt an einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel
  2. 2. Mittel nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es die 0,5 bis 8fache Menge an N-Acetylcystein bezogen auf die Menge an eingesetzter Verbindung der Formel I enthält.
  3. 3. Mittel nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es die doppelte Menge N-Acetylcystein bezogen auf die Menge an eingesetzter Verbindung der Formel I enthält.
  4. 4. Antischuppenhaarwasser nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es als Verbindung der Formel I Aluminiumpyridinthion enthält.
  5. 5. Hautpflegecrème nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie als Verbindung der Formel I Natriumpyridinthion enthält.

  6. 6. Aftershave-Emulsion nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie als Verbindung der Formel I Natriumpyridinthion enthält.

Verwendung von N-Acetylcystein zur Stabilisierung eines kosmetischen Mittels mit einem Gehalt an einer Verbindung der allgemeinen Formel worin R Natrium, Kalium oder Ammonium und X die Zahl 1 oder R Aluminium und X die Zahl 3 bedeuten, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass es N-Acetylcystein enthält.
  8. 8. Verwendung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das kosmetische Mittel in Form eines Anti-schuppenhaarwassers vorliegt.

  9. 9. Verwendung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das kosmetische Mittel in Form einer Hautpflegecrème vorliegt.
  10. 10. Verwendung nach Anspruch 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das kosmetische Mittel in Form einer Aftershave-30 Emulsion vorliegt.
