Abstract
The minimum step-action motor contains a stator with two pole shoes (1) and (2) whose cylindrical surfaces (3) and (4) face one another. A two-pole rotor is located between the pole shoes (1) and (2). A ring (8) to hold the rotor is disposed between the stator and the rotor, its strength being less than the strength of the pole shoes (1) and (2) of the stator and its width differing according to the angular coordinate of the stator. <IMAGE>
