Abstract

Synchronising pulses from a frequency divider are applied to a coil and magnet system in order to maintain vibrations in a clock controlled by a quartz crystal. The central axes of the clock drive coil (L) and of the magnet system are set in parallel with respect to one another in the zero setting of the mechanical vibrator of the clock, in order to feed the outgoing drive pulse and returning drive pulse to the drive coil at a different distance from the zero position of the vibrator. <IMAGE>
