Claims (3)

PATENTANSPRÜCHE
1. Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe, bestehend aus mindestens zwei Einzelglasscheiben, die durch eine transparente Klebstoffschicht miteinander verbunden sind, wobei eine Einzelglasscheibe beidseitig glatt und die andere als auf einer Seite glatte und auf der anderen Seite oberflächenstrukturierte Ornamentglasscheibe ausgebildet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Klebstoffschicht (2) den Zwischenraum zwischen der oberflächenstrukturierten Fläche (la) der Ornamentglasscheibe (I) und der benachbarten Fläche (3a) der beidseitig glatten Einzelglasscheibe (3) ausfüllt.
2. Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Klebstoffschicht gefärbt ist.
3. Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Einzelglasscheibe
( 1 oder 3) mit Spiegelbelag belegt ist.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe aus mindestens zwei Einzelglasscheiben, die durch eine transparente Klebstoffschicht miteinander verbunden sind, wobei eine Einzelglasscheibe beidseitig glatt und die andere als auf einer Seite glatte und auf der anderen Seite oberflächenstrukturierte Ornamentglasscheibe ausgebildet ist.
Bei derartigen Sicherheitsglasscheiben lag bisher die Oberflächenstruktur frei auf der Aussenseite. Dies hatte verschiedene Nachteile. Als wichtigster Nachteil wird es angesehen, dass eine derartige Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe grundsätzlich vor dem Zusammenfügen der Einzelscheiben genau auf Mass geschnitten werden muss, da die zusammengefügte Sicherheitsglasscheibe sich nicht mehr schneiden lässt. Weiterhin ist es nachteilig, dass die bekannten Verbundsicherheitsglasscheiben wegen der freiliegenden Oberflächenstruktur relativ leicht verschmutzen.
Ausgehend von diesem Stand der Technik liegt der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe der eingangs erwähnten Art so auszubilden, dass sie wie aus zwei glatten Einzelscheiben bestehende Verbundglasscheiben im fertigen Zustand geschnitten werden kann, jedoch die Struktur von Ornamentglas aufweist.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird nach der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, dass die Klebstoffschicht den Zwischenraum zwischen der oberflächenstrukturierten Fläche der Ornamentglasscheibe und der benachbarten Fläche der beidseitig glatten Einzelglasscheibe ausfüllt.
Eine solche Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe löst die gestellte Aufgabe in vollkommener Weise. Die neuartige Verbindung der mindestens zwei Glasplatten, von denen auch mehrere vorgesehen sein können, schafft einen neuartigen ästhetischen Eindruck. Der Eindruck dieser Scheibe weicht mehr oder weniger deutlich ab von dem ästhetischen Eindruck von Verbundglasscheiben, welche mit den bekannten Einzelglasscheiben nach dem bisher bekannten Verfahren hergestellt wurden. Eine nach dem bisher bekannten Verfahren hergestellte Verbundglasscheibe unterschied sich wegen der Art der Verbindung praktisch nicht von dem ästhetischen Eindruck der oberflächenstrukturierten Ornamentglasscheibe. Demgegenüber schafft die neue Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe einen neuen, von dem der Ornamentglasscheibe völlig abweichenden ästhetischen Eindruck.
Darüberhinaus ist das Vorsehen von glatten Aussenflächen aus verschiedenen Gründen vorteilhaft. Einerseits wird hierdurch die Reinigungsarbeit sehr stark erleichtert. Andererseits wird es mit der neuartigen Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe erstmalig möglich, eine sichere und zuverlässige Abdichtung von in Richtung ihrer Längsebene verschiebbaren Scheiben gegenüber einem feststehenden Teil zu erzielen. Dieses Abdichtungsproblem stellte sich bisher stets bei Schiebeglastüren, welche an ortsfesten Dichtungsprofilen entlang streichen müssen. Bei solchen Konstruktionen war bisher eine einwandfreie Abdichtung nicht möglich, weil sämtliche Dichtungsprofile nicht eng genug auf der rauhen Oberflächenstruktur der Guss- oder Ornamentglasscheiben anliegen konnten.
Nach einem weiteren Vorschlag der Erfindung hat es sich als zweckmässig erwiesen, dass die Klebstoffschicht gefärbt ist.
Durch die Färbung der Klebstoffschicht ergeben sich zusätzliche ästhetische Wirkungen der neuen Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe. Die Färbung der Klebstoffschicht kann auch so gewählt sein, dass die Verbundglasscheibe Sonnenschutz bietet. Schliesslich wird erfindungsgemäss noch vorgeschlagen, dass eine der beiden Einzelglasscheiben mit Spiegelbelag belegt ist.
Nachstehend wird eine bevorzugte Ausführungsform der Erfindung anhand der Zeichnung im einzelnen beschrieben. Die Zeichnung zeigt in ihrem rechten Bereich die komplette Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe, im linken Bereich erstrecken sich die unterschiedlichen Schichten aus Gründen der besseren Darstellbarkeit unterschiedlich weit nach links. In der praktischen Ausführung sind selbstverständlich auch die linken vertikalen Kanten bündig miteinander.
Die Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe ist im dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel aus zwei Einzelglasscheiben hergestellt. Die Einzelglasscheibe 1 ist eine als Gussglas ausgebildete Ornamentglasscheibe, welche auf ihrer Aussenseite lb glatt-wandig ausgebildet ist und auf ihrer dem Betrachter zugewandten Innenseite la eine deutliche Oberflächenstrukturie-rung mit kräftigen Erhebungen bzw. Vertiefungen aufweist. Eine zweite Einzelglasscheibe 3 ist sowohl auf der dem Betrachter zugewandten Vorderseite 3b als auch auf der Rückseite 3a glattwandig ausgebildet. Die beiden Oberflächen la und 3a sind mit Abstand voneinander angeordnet. Der Abstandsraum zwischen den beiden Oberflächen ist durch eine transparente Klebstoffschicht 2 ausgefüllt.
Ein Vergleich des linken Bereichs der Zeichnung mit dem rechten Bereich der Zeichnung zeigt, dass die optische Wirkung der Verbundsicherheitsglasscheibe (siehe rechten Teil) stark abweicht von dem optischen Eindruck der Ornamentglasscheibe 1.
