Abstract

The present invention relates to an electronic timing mechanism which can be used, for example, as a clock timer for controlling recharging times for electric storage devices. Such electronic timing mechanisms generally have no possibility of reading off the current time state. Furthermore, it is not possible to set times to prescribable values. In order to eliminate these disadvantages, provision is made of a voltage divider (24, 25) which is provided with a time scale and is connected to an input (23) of a comparator (20) of the timing mechanism, and the output (11) of a counter (10) is connected to the other input (19) of the comparator (20) via a digital-to-analog converter (12). Connected to the output (28) of the comparator (20) is a switch (40, 6) which switches in a frequency divider between a pulsed voltage generator (1) and the counter (10). <IMAGE>
