Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Färben natürlicher und synthetischer Textilfaser-materialien mit Monoazofarbstoffen, die in Form der freien Säure der Formel s03 H

R2 für Wasserstoff, Alkyl oder Alkoxy,
R3 für Alkyl oder Aryl,

X für Halogen oder CF3 und n für 0,1,2 oder 3 stehen, wobei die Alkylgruppen nichtionische Substituenten enthalten können.
Die Alkylgruppen enthalten vorzugsweise 1-8 C-Atome und können nichtionogene Substituenten aufweisen, beispielsweise Hydroxylgruppen, Chlor, Brom, Cyan, Alkoxy, Alkoxycarbonyl, insbesondere C]-C4-Alkoxy bzw. -Alkoxy-carbonyl, und Carbonamid.
Geeignete Alkylgruppen R,, R2, R3 und R5 sind insbesondere unsubstituierte Ci-C4-Alkylreste, wie -CH3, -C2H5, -C3H7, i-C3H7, n—C4H9 und i—C4H9.
Geeignete Alkylreste R4 sind insbesondere solche mit 1-4 C-Atomen, die beispielsweise durch -CN oder -CONH2 substituiert sein können, wie beispielsweise -CH3, -C2Hä, -C3H7, -C4H9, -C2H4CN und -C2H4CONH2.
Geeignete Alkoxyreste R2 und R5 sind insbesondere solche mit 1—4 C-Atomen, beispielsweise -OCH3,-OC2H5,-OC3H7, -OC4H9.
Geeignete AryIreste R3 sind insbesondere gegebenenfalls beispielsweise durch Alkyl, insbesondere C1-C4-Alkyl, Alkoxy, insbesondere C1-C4-Alkoxy oder Halogen, insbesondere Chlor oder Brom, substituierte Phenyl- oder Naph-thylreste wie Phenyl, Biphenyl oder Naphthyl.
Geeignete Aralkylreste Ri sind insbesondere gegebenenfalls durch nichtionogene Substituenten substituierte Benzyl-oder Phenyläthylgruppen.
Geeignete Halogenatome X und R5 sind Fluor, Chlor urrd Brom. Für n = 2 oder 3 können die Reste X gleich oder verschieden sein. Im Rahmen der Formel (I) sind solche Farbstoffe bevorzugt, die in Form der freien Säure der Formel s03 H

Geeignete Kupplungskomponenten der Forme] (VII)
sind beispielsweise die in der Deutschen Patentschrift 137 117 beschriebenen Indolsulfonsäuren sowie andere Indolsulfon-säuren, die analog zu den im DRP 137 117 beschriebenen Verfahren durch Sulfierung von 2-Alkyl- oder 2-Arylindolen erhalten werden. Hierbei entstehen - zumindest aus den in 5-Stellung nicht substituierten Indolen, wahrscheinlich die lndol-5-sulfonsäuren. Als geeignete Indolsulfonsäuren seien beispielsweise genannt:
2-Methyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 2-Äthyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 2-Phenyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 1 -Methyl-2-phenyl-indol-suIfon-säure, 1,2-Dimethyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 1 -Äthyl-2-methyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 1,2,5-Trimethyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 2,5-Dimethyl-indolsulfonsäure, 1,2,7-Trimethyl-indol-sulfon-säure, 2-Methyl-5-chlor-indolsulfonsäure, 2-Methyl-7-chlor-indol-sulfonsäure.
Die Farbstoffe der Formel I eignen sich erfindungsge-mäss zum Färben natürlicher und synthetischer textiler Fasermaterialien, insbesondere zum Färben von Polyamidfasern. Sie liefern egale, ausgiebige gelbe bis orange Färbungen von sehr guter Lichtechtheit. Die Farbstoffe ziehen auch bereits aus neutralem bis schwach saurem Färbebad gut auf Polyamidfasern auf. Unter Polyamidfasern werden dabei insbesondere solche aus synthetischen Polyamiden wie f-Poly-caprolactam oder Kondensationsprodukte aus Adipinsäure und Hexamethylendiamin verstanden. Die Farbstoffe können in Form der freien Säure oder in Form ihrer Salze, insbesondere der Alkalisalze wie der Natrium- oder Kaliumsalze oder der Ammoniumsalze eingesetzt werden. Die oben angegebenen Formeln sind die der freien Säuren.
In der schweizerischen Patentschrift Nr. 341 248 sind sulfonsäuregruppenfreie Monoazofarbstoffe und deren Verwendung zum Färben von Gebilden aus Polyamiden bekannt.
Gegenüber dem Farbstoff aus Beispiel 1 dieser Patentschrift ergibt ein vergleichbarer, erfindungsgemäss verwend-deter, sulfonsäuregruppenhaltiger Farbstoff den überraschenden Vorteil einer stark verbesserten Waschechtheit auf Polyamid.
Die britische Patentschrift Nr. 288 788 betrifft das Färben von Wolle mit Azofarbstoffen, die jedoch eine Arylsulfonyl-gruppe sowie eine Acetylaminogruppe in der Diazokompo-nente enthalten und daher den vorliegenden Farbstoffen ferner liegen,
Auch die in der DAS 1 106 287 beschriebenen, sich zum Färben von Gebilden aus Polyamiden eignenden Farbstoffe enthalten keine saure Gruppe.
In den folgenden Beispielen bedeuten Teile Gewichtsteile.
Beispiel 1
23,4 Teile Propyl-(3-chlor-4-amino-phenyl)-sulfon werden in 200 Teilen Eisessig gelöst, mit 50 Teilen 18%iger Salzsäure und 250 Teilen Eis versetzt und durch langsame Zugabe einer Lösung von 6,9 Teilen Natriumnitrit in 20 Teilen Wasser bei 0-3°C diazotiert. Die Diazolösung wird mit etwas Amido-sulfonsäure versetzt und dann zu einer Lösung von 21,9 Teilen 2-Methyl-indol-sulfonsäure in 150 Teilen Wasser gegeben. Die Kupplung zum Farbstoff setzt sofort ein. Durch Zugabe 5 von Natriumacetatlösung oder Natronlauge bis zu einem pH-Wert von etwa 4 wird die Kupplung zu Ende geführt. Zur vollständigen Abscheidung des Farbstoffs werden noch 70 Teile Kochsalz zugesetzt. Der Farbstoff wird durch Abfiltrieren isoliert. Man erhält nach dem Trocknen 44,3 Teile eines io gelben, leicht wasserlöslichen Farbstoffpulvers. Der hergestellte Farbstoff entspricht in Form der freien Säure der Formel
Er färbt Polyamidfasern aus schwach saurem oder neutralem Bad in echten gelben Tönen (siehe folgendes Färbebeispiel).

Beispiel 2
25 Teile/S-Cyanäthyl-(3-brom-4-amino-phenyl)-sulfon werden fein gepulvert und in einem Gemisch aus 400 Teilen Wasser und 25 Teilen 37%iger Salzsäure bei 0-3 "C mit der 30 Lösung von 6,9 Teilen Natriumnitrit in 40 Teilen Wasser diazotiert. Etwas überschüssige salpetrige Säure wird mit Amidosulfonsäure zerstört. Dann wird die Lösung von 21,5 Teilen 2-Methyl-indol-sulfonsäure in 250 Teilen Wasser zugefügt und der pH-Wert des Kupplungsgemisches mit Natronlauge auf etwa 4-5 eingestellt. Nach beendeter Kupplung werden 50-80 Teile Kochsalz zugefügt, um den Farbstoff vollständig als Na-Salz abzuscheiden. Man erhält nach üblicher Isolierung und Trocknung 44,9 Teile eines leicht wasserlöslichen, gelben Pulvers. Der Farbstoff entspricht in Form der freien Säure der Formel und färbt Polyamidfasern aus schwach suarem Bad in echten 50 gelben Tönen (vgl. folgendes Färbebeispiel).
Beispiel 3
Die Lösung von 25,3 Teilen Äthyl-(3-trifluormethyl-4-amino-phenyl)-sulfon in 200 Teilen konz. Schwefelsäure wird 55 bei 0-5 °C mit 31,2 Teilen Nitrosylschwefelsäure (4,5 g Nitrosylschwefelsäure entsprechen 1 g Natriumnitrit) versetzt und 2 Stunden bei der angegebenen Temperatur gerührt. Die so hergestellte Diazoniumsalzlösung wird in eine Lösung von 29 Teilen l-Methyl-2-phenyl-indol-sulfonsäure 60 in 300 Teilen Wasser, der man 300 Teile Eis und 5 Teile einer 25 %igen wässrigen Lösung von Amidosulfonsäure zusetzt, eingetropft. Durch Zutropfen von 20%iger Natronlauge wird der pH-Wert der Kupplungslösung auf etwa 4-5 eingestellt. Nach beendeter Kupplung wird der Farbstoff durch Zugabe von 80 Teilen Kochsalz vollständig ausgefällt und abfiltriert. Man erhält nach dem Trocknen 57,8 Teile eines leicht wasserlöslichen gelben Farbstoffpulvers. Der Farbstoff entspricht in Form der freien Säure der Formel

Beispiel 4
Die Lösung von 24 Teilen Methyl-(2,5-dichlor-4-amino-phenyl)-sulfon in 200 Teilen 85%iger Orthophosphorsäure wird bei 0-5°C mit 31,2 Teilen Nitrosylschwefelsäure (4,5 g Nitrosylschwefelsäure entsprechen 1 g Natriumnitrit) diazotiert. Anschliessend wird die so erhaltene Diazoniumsalzlö-sung zur Lösung von 29 Teilen l-Methyl-2-phenyl-indol-sulfonsäure in 300 Teilen Wasser, der man noch 300 Teile Eis und 5 Teile einer 25%igen wässrigen Amidosulfonsäure -lösung zugesetzt hat, gegeben. Durch Zugabe von 20%iger Natronlauge wird der pH-Wert auf 4-5 eingestellt und der Farbstoff nach beendeter Kupplung wie üblich durch Aussalzen und Abfiltrieren isoliert. Man erhält nach dem Trocknen 58,6 Teile eines in Wasser leicht löslichen, gelben Pulvers, das Polyamidfasern aus schwach saurem Bad in echten
Färbebeispiel
0,1 g Farbstoff aus Beispiel 1 wird in 100 ml Wasser heiss gelöst, 5 ml 10%ige Ammoniumacetatlösung zugesetzt und 15 auf ein Volumen von 500 ml mit Wasser verdünnt. Man geht mit 10 g Polyamidfasern in das Färbebad ein, bringt das Färbebad innerhalb von 20 Min, zum Kochen, setzt 4 ml 10%ige Essigsäure zu und hält eine Stunde auf Kochtemperatur. Danach wird gespült und bei 70—80° C getrocknet. 20 Man erhält eine Färbung in gelbem Ton von sehr guter Licht-und Nassechtheit.
Diazotiert man die in der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführten Diazokomponenten analog den Angaben der Beispiele 1-4 und vereinigt die Diazoniumverbindungen mit den aufge-25 führten Kupplungskomponenten, so erhält man ebenfalls wertvolle wasserlösliche Farbstoffe, die Polyamid aus schwach saurem oder neutralem Bad in gelben bis orangen lichtechten Tönen färben.
