Abstract

The watch is mfd. in two parts (1,2) hinged (3) together at one side and serving respectively to display the time of day and to radiate a high-frequency signal. The signal is sent when the antenna wire (13) coiled in a peripheral groove is pulled out by a button (18). The deployment of the antenna wire rotates (F) the transmitter capsule (7) in its cylindrical compartment (8) so that the terminals (9,10) of the battery become bridged by a conductive strap (11). While the antenna wire is stowed, the strap is distanced from one terminal (10) by an insulating tab (12) fixed to the wall of the compartment. USE/ADVANTAGE - For transmission of e.g. distress signal or simple message from wearer. Reliable transmission is ensured by simple structure. (4pp Dwg.No.1/3)
