Abstract

The fastening includes a male element (4) comprising a projecting tongue, fitting into a rectangular aperture (3) in a female element formed by two parallel and adjacent plates (1,2). The male and female elements are attached to the bracelet ends. The female element includes a spring biased pushbutton (5) moving in an aperture formed in one of the two plates. When depressed it allows the two parts of the forked male element to enter the female fitting, but when released it retains these parts. USE - Fastening for wrist watch bracelet or jewellery item.
