Abstract

The timepiece comprises an electromagnetic motor (100) whose stator (2) is flat and covered at least partially by a strengthening plate (68) made of non-magnetic material or, if need be, material with very low magnetic permeability which has been fixed thereto, preferably by soldering, before it was subjected, in bulk, together with others, to an annealing in order to protect it at the time of this operation against the risks of deformations and of fractures which would have rendered it subsequently unusable. According to the invention and in order to prevent this plate becoming a useless supplementary piece which takes up space in the timepiece, it comprises means which enable it to constitute, at the same time, another element of this timepiece. This element may be, for example, a spring/setting-lever jumper (72) which interacts with a setting lever (212) in order to define stable positions of a manual control rod (184) which may be displaced axially. <IMAGE>
